I genuinely thought that Deadpool was just going to come out of this as a head, after his fight with Death Grip, given the cover. I assumed that Ellie would then have to take the mantle, surprisingly this cover was just a huge lie though.

What a welcome surprise, can’t really say much about it because it was mostly fighting. I liked that Deadpool got some good hits on Death Grip but with the reveal of the Masuba Blade, you knew he was kind of screwed. I still feel that this series is playing it a bit too safe, it might be because the focus isn't really on Deadpool but on his daughters instead, so it has to be a bit more kid friendly.

Between Deadpool's Chainsaw Man reference in the first issue and Taskmaster's JJK one here there's no doubt in my mind that they watch anime together and try to pull off the special moves in secret
