'🅸🅽🅵🅻🆄🅴🅽🅲🅴🅳' Is the first full length romance book in 'The Influenced' series by 'Kelsey Clayton.' Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.'
Life kind of stops existing when I read something by this author, so I knew going into this, that this book would consume me and boy I wasn't wrong. She definitely turned up the angst dial on this one, these two did my head in, but god did I lap it up!!
Kaia is a new influencer on the block, who gets invited to live in Swype house along with others in her league. The very first day is the day she steps on Declan's toes, which from then on it's game on, he's like a dog with a bone, with a bee in his bonnet and he goes all out to try and being her down.
He was the biggest douche-bag and she was the new girl in town so I knew straight away these two would go at each other and that was exactly what happened from the get go, she had a target on her back as soon as she stepped trough those doors and he was going to bring her down a peg or two.
Most of this was them at loggerheads..
Until a prank of sorts back fired and he'd dug his own grave and had to go and grovel for her help, and that's when it started heating up. When fake became real.

Kaia Blakely is the newest social media influencer, to be invited to live in the Swype House LA, a content house.
Her arrival brings out the worst in Dex, a mysterious skateboarder who previously had the highest follower count.
When his temper gets the best of him and his “pranks” go too far, backfiring, a fauxmance is born.
I love the banter between all the Swype House members. Constantly needling one another, Dex and Kaia regularly had me grinning and laughing out loud. That said, it takes a minute to warm up to Dex. He keeps everything close to the vest. But once he opens up, you’re going to fall. Hard.
The “miscommunication” trope usually drives me insane. And this one did a few times, but Kelsey nailed the sweet/steamy/funny trifecta with Influenced. I absolutely loved the start of this new series and can’t wait to read Verified for Rhys’ story!

Kaia Blakely, is an upcoming star on the Swype app. Because of her new popularity she gets the opportunity to join a content house “The Swype House LA” and collaborate with the most loved and envied stars of her generation. Everyone in the house is welcoming except for Declan.
Declan is another content creator who lives in the swype house. He and Kaia start off on the wrong foot as he believes she doesn’t respect the members of the house and sees them as more of an opportunity than people. He decides to make her life hell until she packs up and goes back to where she came from.
It starts of as Pranks and constant bickering until Declan gets cancelled online and needs Kaia’s help. What starts as a “fake relationship” turns into something much more than both of them anticipated.

When this girl said she isn’t letting anyone walk all over her, she really did mean it. Declan was a HUGE dick to her in the start and I loved how she snapped back at him.
“You,” I roar back, getting in her face. “You’re my problem. You with your self-entitlement and sweeter than pie attitude. You’re not fucking fooling me.”
“Oh my God.” She throws her head back for a second. “I’m sorry. Okay? I’m sorry I got your name wrong and bruised your baby dick ego, but you don’t have to be such a fucking asshole.”
He switches his glare from Beau to me. “Oh, because it’s so unreasonable to expect you to give a single fuck about anyone but yourself. Go suck a dick.”
“Okay. Do you know where I can find any? Because you certainly don’t have one.”
“Yep. Told us all about how you two fucked last night after everyone went to bed.”
“Ah, that,” I grab a bottle of water out of the fridge and smile. “Yeah, we did. But his dick was pretty small and it wasn’t any good. Harrison has him beat by a mile.”
Declan
This man was whipped from the very start but just had an extremely hard time admitting it to himself.
Her head rests against my chest, and the vanilla scent of her shampoo infiltrates my senses. I can feel both of her hands on my back, and the rise and fall of her chest as she takes a deep breath. I’ll never admit it out loud, but it feels almost…nice. Nope. No. Over my dead body.
I’ve even accidentally gotten in her way just to get some kind of reaction out of her, but all she did was step around me. It’s exactly what Beau wanted, but I feel like I’m fucking starving.
It’s been four days of her not even acknowledging I’m alive, and I’m drowning in it. If she was looking for a way to get under my skin, she fucking found it.
But once he finally realized that he actually likes Kaia, he turned into a decent person. The chemistry between them was 🔥 and I really wanted them to have hate sex butttttt sadly that didn’t happen. They re-enacted Kaia’s dream though so that went well 😝
“How’d it start, Kaia?” he asks seriously. I shake my head, and he immediately takes his hands off me.
“That’s not how this is going to work, baby.” He runs his fingers through his hair to push it out of his face and bends down to kiss me once more. “You answer, I keep going. You stop, I stop.”
I loved the side characters, I was expecting a lot of OTT drama since we would be having many influencers under one roof but they were all so amazing and supportive, I hope each one of them gets their own book. Already excited for Rhys!
Now why didn’t I rate this book 5 stars? Ughh it was the whole miscommunication trope. It was dragged too long and they both made no sense with how they acted during that time.
And then they literally make up within the last two pages of the book and that’s it. The book ends. That just didn’t sit well with me.

I adore Kelsey's stories and in here, she had the most amazing and very modern idea to turn our reality into a delicious story that had everything inside...
Welcome to the Swype House, a house that is housing the biggest influencers on the planet!!!
I was intrigued from the very first moment and this journey excited me very much!!!
I can not wait for more stories into this beautiful and extravagant world!!!
Kelsey did so good for once again with this original idea!!!
"Living in a house with a bunch of influencers is a dream come true, but that doesn't mean it's not hard."
Kaia is a new influencer who is counting millions of followers already, so she's invited to join the Swype team and to live on their house in LA.
She is a girl from a small town and she is not passing by this opportunity...
Everyone is welcoming her, except Declan whom she might have wound his pride from the hello and who is determined to make her life a living hell...
"That's why we all work so well together. We swap tips and tricks, and we help each other excel. Except, no part of me wants to help Kaia at all."
Declan doesn't like the new girl.... He thinks the worst of her and he is determined to make her leave from the house very soon...
Unfortunately, at some point, he is taking it too far and he needs to beg for her help in order to not lose everything he had work hard to earn...
Now, they have to fake it while they can't stand each other... Or not???
"If they only knew we not so-low-key want to kill each other."
I really loved this crew and Kaia with Declan had earned a special place in my heart....
Kaia was such a sweetheart and she didn't deserve the awful things that Dex was doing to her, but I liked how she was holding her own against him...
Declan was hot stuff and he knew it... In the beginning, he was acting like a spoiled douchebag, but still... it was impossible to not fall for him...
And I did... so freakin' hard cause when he cut out the bullshits, he was simply... amazing!!!
There was so much intensity between these two, but honestly, their denial was making me very mad...
"Denial is a dangerous game."
Yes, I freakin' loved everything about this book!!!
The idea was very original and so in the present!!!
Kaia and Declan were pure fire!!!
The scenery was amazing...
The secondary characters were unique and they were giving so much fun in the plot...
And now, I want to explore every single one character in here and to learn each one's story... plus Jules'!!!

This book is SO MUCH FUN! It's truly the perfect summer read. It's as if we were given a behind-the-scenes look into our favorite young celebrities' private lives. I wanted to shake (and lick) Declan and hug Kaia. I wanted to shop with the girls, hang out at the pool, dance with Nate, and drool over the guys. I wanted to be one of the housemates. I screamed in frustration, sighed with happiness, and held my breath with worry but more than anything, I laughed so much. I promise you won't find a more entertaining book this summer.

What a ride, I loved the story, so good, I devoured it in one sitting.
Kaia and Declan are part of Swype House, a place where the most famous influencers live, Kaia is the last to join the house and we are going to say that their relationship starts off on the wrong foot, he starts to play pranks on her and suddenly a video that looks like they are flirting goes viral so they are forced to fake a relationship.
But as the story progresses, they begin to spend time together and what starts out fake begins to feel real and an attraction between them blossoms. I love them together, I swooned so hard, so cute and sexy. Influenced is one great story, I loved the dynamic of the friends and how all they protect and are loyal to each other, the banter and the sizzling chemistry is epic.

Ahhh!!! Kelsey Clayton just delivered the most epic summer read. Influenced was sexy, addicting and so delicious!! I loved the entire premise of the Swype House and all the influencer housemates! This story had spice, angst and the connection between Declan and Kaia was perfection!
Anyone who knows me knows that I love me some Enemies to Lovers. But add in an uber sexy hero and I am sold!! Overall this was a solid start to this new series. I loved the dynamic cast of characters and how each one provided an added element and something special to the story. Now I can't wait for more!!! Bring on Verified!! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Influenced is the first book of The Influenced Series! It’s a great start to an intriguing series with characters that are fun to get to know.
This book is such an enjoyable read. Kaia and Declan are fun to read about for so many reasons. The hate-to-love vibes are everything !!! It makes reading their moments interesting. They both have insane chemistry that was written so well.
If you like enemies to lovers vibes, fake relationship vibes and some fun banter then you’ll enjoy this one! The side characters definitely capture your attention as well and I cannot wait for the upcoming books!

Kaia and Declan’s story was like a Instagram version of big brother and I was all about it. Declan isn’t to happy when Kaia is asked to be apart of the “influencers” household and he’s definitely not afraid to show it in the cutest and most humorous ways

Influenced is a fun, flirty laugh out loud Rom Com from Kelsey Clayton. Making it the perfect summer read, low angst and high fun this book will keep a permanent smile on your face. Declan and Kaia are all you could want and more, enemies to lovers is one of my fav troupes and Kelsey nailed is as per usual.
This was a fascinating storyline that I’ve never read before and one that is so on point with today’s culture. Influenced follows the lives of a group of housemates that are influencers in the world of Swype. They each have their own individual style and bring their own personalities to the table making this a perfect blend of amusement and panache. I adored meeting each character and seeing how utterly different they are and how seamlessly they interact, Kelsey did a phenomenal job of giving everyone their own distinctiveness and making them stand out.
Kaia is the new girl in the house, coming from a small town in Michigan she is struck by how different it is in L.A. I really like Kaia she was sweet and kind, but she never let Declan walk all over her not matter what he threw at her she threw is right back I love that in my heroines. As the story progresses and things get out of hand it’s up to Kaia to help bring it back from the edge of no return.
Declan this man has an ego the size of L.A and when it gets bruised, he turns into a man child LOL. But underneath that man child is a boy with a really big heart that will have you swooning all over the place. You just have to get through his prickly demeanor to get there. I loved the banter and connection that he and Kaia build together, it’s definitely a rough start but even when they are arguing you can feel the underlying tension and attraction between them.
Kelsey has this amazing way with words, when she writes you can’t help but fall head over heels in love with her characters. And not just the main ones, by the side characters as well. I’m personally dying for each and everyone of them to get a book. I’m don’t’ know if it will happen but a girl can dream, right?

As the story progresses and things get out of hand it’s up to Kaia to help bring it back from the edge of no return.
Declan this man has an ego the size of L.A and when it gets bruised, he turns into a man child LOL. But underneath that man child is a boy with a really big heart that will have you swooning all over the place. You just have to get through his prickly demeanor to get there. I loved the banter and connection that he and Kaia build together, it’s definitely a rough start but even when they are arguing you can feel the underlying tension and attraction between them.
Kelsey has this amazing way with words, when she writes you can’t help but fall head over heels in love with her characters. And not just the main ones, by the side characters as well. I’m personally dying for each and everyone of them to get a book. I’m don’t’ know if it will happen but a girl can dream, right?

This is hands down my FAVORITE book Kelsey has ever written!! Omg, it was so fun, hilarious, sexy and emotional and the banter between Kaia and Dex was just GOLD. Plus the entire crew is just amazeballs and I can't wait for them all to get their own stories!!
So Kaia rose to viral fame after doing this dance on a social media platform, and because of that she has been invited to live at Swype House with a bunch of other young influencers. Everyone is so warm and inviting and freaking hilarious (the twins and Nate especially. Side note: is Kelsey going to do her first ever MM romance in this series??! I cannot WAIT!!) but there's on person who's not happy she's here, living a life he doesn't think she deserves.. so tension arises right away!
Dex is so much more than the goofy playboy he sometimes comes off as-- he's incredibly sweet, a loyal friend, a fierce protector, swoony and alpha in all the right ways -- honestly he's the best! He and Kaia have friction right away with each other but she gives as good as he gives her, if not better. When a prank goes too far and his reputation reflect that, he and Kaia are forced to be in a fake relationship to slavage his career, and the more time they spend with each other the more they realize just how wrong their initial judgments were. Watching them fall in love was just so adorable, and I loved how they became each others person.
There is so much that happens in this book that I'm barley scratching the surface, but just know that once you start reading you won't be able to stop. This book just consumed me in the best of ways!!
And can we talk about that tease for Rhys's book?!?! OMFG., talk about jaw dropping!! I need to clone Kelsey so we get his book even sooner 🤣🤣

Took me a bit, but in the end, I really enjoyed it and am super looking forward to the next book in the series!
Kaia is an influencer from Michigan who gets invited to move to LA to live in "Swype House", a place for some of the country's hottest influencers live, hang out, and, for lack of a better word, influence. Kaia gets off on the wrong foot with Declan, one of the other house guests and things between them go downhill from there. Eventually, they decide on a fake relationship to repair bad press, but feelings become involved and with neither of them talking about how they really feel, dominoes are set up to fall.
Overall, I really enjoyed the storyline. It was definitely different and nothing I've seen before, but completely relevant to the TikTok culture we have going on. Kaia is great. Super sweet, tries to not be a doormat, just wowed by the fact that she's there and gets to do these cool things. Declan took a while for me. He came across as mean and pretty petulant at first, but you did get the emotional growth needed to make his character work in the end. Their hate to lovers smexual chemistry offset the slow burn nature of the story and by the time they got together it seemed like it had all been foreplay, lol. I did feel like the ending was a bit rushed. It checked the boxes we needed, but could have been a bit more. The epilogue/teaser for the next book will definitely thrill any true Kelsey Clayton fan out there. Definitely worth your time time read!

This was a fantastic start for this new series! I loved Kaia and Declan I loved the banter the love hate the attraction these two feel for each other is real this was such a fun sexy and lol read I loved all the side characters this author truly nailed it with this story about Influencers it’s unique and fresh and I personally couldn’t get enough of this story! I highly recommend anything by Kelsey and she excels in the enemies to lovers trope throw in some laughter some flirty fun and sexy times and she had me sold !

An influencer gets cancelled after he takes a prank war too far with the newest member of his content house, and she grudgingly agrees to fake date him to help recover his follower count.
This was a lighthearted read that suffered from a drawn-out “just talk to each jiminy crickets” third act miscommunication breakup.
I know very little about the world of influencers and TikTok, so I won’t embarrass myself by listing out all the terms I had to Google when reading this book. 😅 The author did a good job handling the dynamics of a large cast of influencers living together. All of the characters had distinct vibes and personalities, and it was fun to experience their banter and day-to-day life of hanging out and filming videos. I really loved the found family and strong female friendships. I also loved Kaia’s sassiness when it came to Dex and his pranks, and once the fake dating arc begins their chemistry really takes off.
However, as mentioned before, the miscommunication trope dragged on at the end of the book. I wish it had been paired with a different crisis that involved one of the side characters. For example, their account gets hacked, or something happens with a rival influencer. Perhaps the event could have started or exacerbated the miscommunication between the leads. This could have led to some character growth (only Kaia and Dex have any kind of arc) and a more interesting ending.

The first book in a new series and Kelsey has given us something completely different in the Hollywood genre. This book sees famous social media influencers move into the Swype House together. Kaia Blakely ditches college when the bright lights come calling but she didn't count on resident heartthrob Declan Royce.
As with most first books in a series we get to meet all the guys in the house who I am assuming will get their own books. A lot of time is spent on the character development of all the house residents but I didn't feel this is anyway took away from the storyline in this one. The angst in this is mostly from their own making I found myself screaming at them to just talk to each other. I like slow burn romances especially when there is a ton of chemistry. It's the back and forth, the mixed messages those lingering looks and touches that bring the drama and emotional angst.
Personally I felt the conclusion was a little rushed I would have liked if it had been expanded on more but as it is a series hopefully we'll see more of them. The epilogue sets up the next one with a massive tease for fans of this author.

I am OBSESSED! Obsessed with Kaia and Dex. Obsessed with these characters (I’m looking at you Mayhem and Havoc 😍) and obsessed with ALL THINGS Swype House!
As soon as I read the blurb for Influenced I was instantly intrigued. I’m secretly obsessed with the goings on of Influencer Houses and was so keen to see how this storyline would go.
Kelsey Clayton picked a fantastic storyline for these characters that fitted them flawlessly. I was so impressed by the way she wrote not only the character development of Kaia and Dex but also the development of the side characters. Every character had a purpose, their own personality and fitted seamlessly into the Swype House.
Influenced was a mix of troupes, but in no way did it disappoint. Each troupe fitted perfectly into the next, enemies to lovers, fake relationship, close proximity. I absolutely devoured this book! I’ve read 4 books this year including this one and each one has taken me weeks to read but from the first page of Influenced I was so intertwined within the story that I couldn’t put it down until the last page. That’s how good this book was!

Welcome to Swype House! This is the first book in a new series by Kelsey Clayton. It focuses on influencers who all live in one house in LA. We get to meet Kaia, the newest influencer. On social media it looks like she has the perfect life. But as we all know, not everything on social media tells the truth. Kaia gets caught on a video with another of the house mates and all of a sudden what was really an argument leads to the world thinking they are in love. So they have to fake it to make it. We get to see how this all plays out and what happens when they aren’t just recording a video for their fans. I have a feeling Kelsey had a great time writing this story and it shows. We get to meet an extensive cast of side characters and the antics they all get up to had me laughing out loud several times. I’ve been waiting for this book to release and finished it in one day. It is a premise that I am surprised I haven’t seen more of. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series as Kelsey releases it.

Well start a fake one.. duh!! I mean nothing can go wrong there.. right.. No real feelings will form..?
This book like I said is off the charts.. I loved it hard.. I can not wait for the rest of the house to get there stories told...

I love Kelsey Clayton. She has created some of my favorite worlds with some of my favorite characters. So when I heard she was giving us a new series, I was stoked. And she did. Not. Disappoint. Influenced is the first book in her new series.
The book centers around Kaia, a newbie influencer, and Declan, a broody, thirst-trapper. They don’t have the best of introductions and end up trying to outdo each other in the prank department. Declan takes things a bit too far and suffers the consequences. So #Kailan is born.
This is a slow burn, but their chemistry is never lacking. I loved the bickering and banter between Kaia and Declan. I loved all the characters we were introduced to and all of their relationships with each other. I’m so excited for more from this series. And if you’re a fan of Kelsey’s, then I think you’ll squee at the ending like I did. This is one of my top reads of the year! A must read!

This is Rom-Com done correctly.
Influenced introduces a fun new cast of characters that made me laugh,and shake my head at their antics. As a viewer,and long time fan of MTV's The Real World,I enjoyed the feelings of friendship, competitiveness, and the dynamics of the cast of Swype House.
Declan and Kaia had such an angsty enemies-to-lovers story, and their chemistry is off the charts. I love a good slow-burn,and theirs didn't disappoint.
Now I cannot wait to read the next installment of theirs,and to check back in with these entertaining characters. 5 ⭐

Influenced is the first book in Kelsey Clayton’s new series. This book was so fun to read, I don’t think I’ve read a book with this kind of plot before. I really adored Declan and Kaia, the banter between the two was hilarious, Declan’s ego is monstrous and Kaia isn’t afraid to take it down a peg or two. I loved the enemies to lovers vibes these characters were giving off. I can’t wait to read more!!

This just isn’t for me.
I have grown tired of the rich, entitled and privileged MCs this author writes about. It’s monotonous and totally boring.
Also, HYPe/Swype house - very original. I certainly picked up which real life Tik Tokers this author hijacked. Too cliché. It’s safe to say I’m not interested in reading about rich kids who’s greatest struggle is a broken finger nail.
This just isn’t for me.

Due cuori e un like è un romanzo leggero, romantico e perfetto per questo periodo dell’anno. Se conoscete già Kelsey Clayton saprete che predilige un certo tipo di dinamiche: protagonisti molto giovani, odio istantaneo tra i due protagonisti che poi diventa amore, episodi di bullismo più o meno incisivi e tanti personaggi di contorno che vivacizzano la trama e rendono divertente la lettura. Nella storia tra Declan e Kaia troverete tutti questi elementi.
L’autrice ha fatto un buon lavoro nella caratterizzazione di tutti i personaggi e non solo dei due protagonisti, sono perfetti nel contesto in cui si trovano ad agire e rispecchiano bene una certa categoria di persone.
Kaia è una giovane donna di vent’anni come tante altre che all’improvviso, grazie alla sua abilità nella danza e nel creare contenuti originali, diventa famosissima nel web. Non era nei progetti, ma quando le viene data la possibilità di entrare nella content house di Beau Mitchell, la Swype House, decide di lasciare l’università e di trasferirsi nella Città degli Angeli. Al suo arrivo incontra altri influencer come lei che vivono già da tempo nella casa e tra loro c’è anche Declan, tanto bello quanto arrogante e con un ego spropositato. Tra loro la tensione è alle stelle anche perché Dex non perde occasione di metterla in imbarazzo e renderle la vita difficile e quando appaiono in un video che diventa presto virale, non si stavano sussurrando parole dolci, ma minacce di morte. Ma i fan pensano che siano bellissimi insieme e quando fingono di essere una coppia per aiutare Declan a recuperare followers la finzione potrebbe presto trasformarsi in realtà.
La storia tra Declan e Kaia è molto movimentata. Una vera e propria altalena di emozioni, penso che sia impossibile per il lettore non sentirsi coinvolgere dalla loro storia che mi ha portato a finire di leggere il libro nel giro di poco tempo.
Tutti gli altri personaggi, seppur secondari, hanno un ruolo importantissimo ai fini della storia e della relazione complicata da Declan e Kaia e hanno il compito di rendere vivace la lettura.
Il Pov alternato mi ha permesso di conoscere bene entrambi i protagonisti e di capire le dinamiche tra di loro. Entrambi evolvono, soprattutto Declan che, quando mette da parte le provocazioni e gli scherzi, dimostrerà tutto il suo potenziale. Ma preparatevi, perché cercherà in tutti i modi di farvi perdere la pazienza.
La particolarità del romanzo è sicuramente l’ambientazione; non sapevo dell’esistenza di queste content house che sono delle proprietà private che ospitano gli influencer del momento che collaborano insieme nella creazione di contenuti social originali e di tendenza. La trama, quindi, è originale e interessante e le dinamiche che si vengono a creare tra i residenti, assomigliano molto a quelle dei campus anche se i ragazzi non sono lì per studiare ma per accrescere i propri profili.
Ho apprezzato molto lo svolgimento della trama, per quanto Declan e Kaia sembrano distanti e agli antipodi insieme funzionano davvero molto bene e sono molto carini, almeno quando non cercando di uccidersi a vicenda.
Non è il primo libro di Kelsey Clayton che leggo e il suo stile di scrittura mi piace molto; la sua penna è diretta, scorrevole, vibrante e romantica. I dialoghi e confronti tra i due protagonisti sono molto interessanti e aiutano il lettore a farsi un’idea molto chiara non solo della psicologia, ma anche del legame che li unisce.
Nel corso della lettura non mancano i momenti divertenti e altri un pochino più “drammatici” ma in generale la lettura è fresca e leggera. Il finale è bello anche se un pochino frettoloso e l’epilogo mi ha fatto sospettare che questo fosse il primo romanzo di una serie anche se non ho trovato riscontri in merito.

La storia tra Declan e Kaia è molto movimentata. Una vera e propria altalena di emozioni, penso che sia impossibile per il lettore non sentirsi coinvolgere dalla loro storia che mi ha portato a finire di leggere il libro nel giro di poco tempo.
Tutti gli altri personaggi, seppur secondari, hanno un ruolo importantissimo ai fini della storia e della relazione complicata da Declan e Kaia e hanno il compito di rendere vivace la lettura.
Il Pov alternato mi ha permesso di conoscere bene entrambi i protagonisti e di capire le dinamiche tra di loro. Entrambi evolvono, soprattutto Declan che, quando mette da parte le provocazioni e gli scherzi, dimostrerà tutto il suo potenziale. Ma preparatevi, perché cercherà in tutti i modi di farvi perdere la pazienza.
La particolarità del romanzo è sicuramente l’ambientazione; non sapevo dell’esistenza di queste content house che sono delle proprietà private che ospitano gli influencer del momento che collaborano insieme nella creazione di contenuti social originali e di tendenza. La trama, quindi, è originale e interessante e le dinamiche che si vengono a creare tra i residenti, assomigliano molto a quelle dei campus anche se i ragazzi non sono lì per studiare ma per accrescere i propri profili.
Ho apprezzato molto lo svolgimento della trama, per quanto Declan e Kaia sembrano distanti e agli antipodi insieme funzionano davvero molto bene e sono molto carini, almeno quando non cercando di uccidersi a vicenda.
Non è il primo libro di Kelsey Clayton che leggo e il suo stile di scrittura mi piace molto; la sua penna è diretta, scorrevole, vibrante e romantica. I dialoghi e confronti tra i due protagonisti sono molto interessanti e aiutano il lettore a farsi un’idea molto chiara non solo della psicologia, ma anche del legame che li unisce.
Nel corso della lettura non mancano i momenti divertenti e altri un pochino più “drammatici” ma in generale la lettura è fresca e leggera. Il finale è bello anche se un pochino frettoloso e l’epilogo mi ha fatto sospettare che questo fosse il primo romanzo di una serie anche se non ho trovato riscontri in merito.

Funny, Sexy, Sweet Rom - A Modern take on the Real World!
Woo! Influenced was not what I was expecting at all. It was freaking better!!! The blurb does not do this story justice! KC totally brought it in this book. It felt so fresh and new, and yet completely Kelsey. Influenced is a must read. The perfect #SUMMERREAD. Grab a copy, a drink and plop yourself in the sun with this gem.
I am so in love with Dex and Kaia #Kailan. This story had me laughing, fanning my face, and tearing up from the angst. Dex and Kaia had such great chemistry. Whether they were fighting (which was a lot!) laughing, or sexing, it was all so so good!
Swype house is home to some of the biggest social media influencers out there. Kaia has been asked to join Swype house LA. Unfortunately for her, not everyone wants her there aka Dex. But after a series of events Dex finds himself in a fake relationship with Kaia. And of course, what starts off fake, quickly turns real. Both Kaia and Dex are bad at communicating with their mouths, but their actions speak louder than words. I highly enjoyed watching these two fall for each other.
Not only were Dex and Kaia awesome characters, so were all the other influencers in the house. The triple T’s, Lux, Maisee, Oakley, Rhys, Nate of course daddy Beau were fantastic. They all easily entertained me and pulled into their world. If not for my kids I would have finished this story in one sitting.
This is a standalone enemies to lovers/close proximity romance. It is sweet, sexy, funny and has the perfect HEA. I cannot wait for the next book in this series! If you're a KC fan, there’s a little easter egg in the epilogue. It legit blew my mind and I am so there for it!!!

Questo libro mi ha fatto tanto ridere e anche la tensione tra i personaggi mi è piaciuta molto. Dexter ci ha messo diverso tempo ad accettare che il fastidio che provava verso la nuova ragazza in realtà era attrazione, E di certo non gli ha reso le cose facili tra dispetti e il fare un passo avanti e 10 indietro. Anche la protagonista mi è piaciuto molto, diretta sincera senza farsi mettere i piedi in testa.
