Ophelia Bell switched up her format with this book. We received a huge chunk of back-story on the main character, which was just lovely. Understanding how Dimitri once lived led to a greater appreciation for his journey within the temple.

The series gains strength...and I had these as separate reads but note there is an Omnibus version, best value, called Sleeping Dragons. I dislike series, but am often hooked by freebie first one as with this!

Human identical twins begin, but it's Dimitri who reaches the non identical male-female Aurik and Aurin golden dragons.
Yes, you learn more of the dragons, their scales feel like velvet...very different to how I imagine scales...like when I first touched a snake and found not wet and slimy but dry, almost oiled feel...not how I'd imagined :)
We learn a little more of their history, their bonding needs to be with humans, how they can shift to human form and immense dragon form if wish. But, then, wow what and a steamy ménage sex scene.
Who would have thought reading of sex with dragons could be such a turn on. Hats off to Ophelia, and this hits my 4 stars.

Another sexy short. Each step will push your naughty boundaries. This has a great back story of the character Dimitri. Also very sexually raw, but that doesn't bother me one bit. Once you start you can't stop reading.

This is another great story in this series about Dimitri. Dimitri once has a twin brother, when his brother was still alive they fell in love with the same woman she did not mind in fact she was hoping it would happen. However tragedy struck and Dimitri's brother died and things between him and the woman were never the same. When looking at the next part of the ritual Kris tells him that he can only pick one of the twins. It is one male and one female sexuality was never a problem for Dimitri but choosing that he has a problem with. This again is a great short story that can be read as a stand alone or part of the series in order. In thsi book it is about love and acceptance. I would recommend this book but it is a 18+ series and should be read as such

A fast, hot read
Dimitri and the twin dragons, amazingly descriptive writing, and just enough sad back story to be invested in the guys happiness. This is the third book in this series that I have read, and I have already bought the next one. I just can't stop reading them, they are that good!

This is one hot steamy story. Poignant as well. This is a story about love lost, and being broken. Some seriously hot sex here. And did I mention the main character are awesome dragons? Dimitri was so devastated after the death of his twin and then the subsequent departure of their partner, the trio lived in balance with each other, he could never find again what he'd shared with his twin Alex and Thea. Until he opened the door of the temple and saw the two statues of gold perched back to back. It was a male and a female, the most beautiful creatures he had ever seen and he was pulled towards them and felt that his brother would also be at peace now. When he gave them his Nirvana and awakened them he once again felt the peace he'd had 2 years ago.

Twin Dragons, what could go wrong? This is one of my favorite stories. There is quite a bit of M/M action, so if you do not like that kind of thing this is not the book for you. But for a shorter story, you do get a good story and some great sex.

Like the previous book 'Tabula Rasa' the main ingredient in this book is sex but this has a little more story and background, not much I'll admit but I liked this more. After 'Tabula' I wasn't going to read this but it was free and I was curious so I thought I'd give it a go.
Dimitri no longer feels whole, not only has he lost his twin Alex but also the relationship they shared with Thea, Alex's girlfriend and after nearly two empty years Dimitri is desperate, desperate to feel something real and is willing to take a chance, a chance on a pair of statues.

As stated in reviews of the previous books of this series, this was well-written and drags you into the story easily. Maybe I'm just easily susceptible to well written mythology, especially if sprinkled with eroticism, but I thoroughly enjoyed this part of the story. This is the third book in the Sleeping Dragons Series. I enjoyed the telling of Dmitri's story and his finally finding a place to belong with Aurik and Aurin. Despite the breaking of Dragon Law, I hope Dmitri gets his Happily Ever After. He deserves it.

Dimitri's book was intense. The emotion he had felt about losing his brother got to me. I adore the interaction with Aurin and Aurik. The sex was hot and boy will it leave you "damped" if you know what I mean!
