I think out of all the hunky lumberjacks this book is the most emotional and honestly one of my faves.
Camille and Dalton meet in the most unlikely way but it’s a meeting that changes both of their lives in more than one way.
After suffering a huge loss Camille feels like she’s never going to see her dreams come to life. Everything is falling apart but the young and very gorgeous lumberjack shows her that there is more life to live and not all hope is lost!
I absolutely love how strong and resilient Camille is. This one is one heck of a heroine! Dalton…I seriously have no words to explain how amazing he is. The way he just takes over and steps up day after day. His interactions with Davey are EVERYTHING!
This book was such a beautiful read and I loved every word.

Dalton is doing his best on the farm but his grandfather's health is still a worry.
Seeing the vultures circling the farm they let to Dave & his wife Camille he knows he needs to investigate.
Camille is protective of her boy Davey and the visit from Dalton is unexpected she's struggling to keep everything together ready for the winter.
A lovely story, with wonderful characters.

It’s time to swoon! Author Gwyn McNamee has brought forth an amazing reverse age-gap romance with a twist. The hero in this book is not only younger, he is totally inexperienced – thus we have a virgin, age-gap romance, and he is made up of all the things readers look for in their book boyfriends.
Dalton James has kindness and loyalty oozing from his young pores. He knows no other way than to put everyone else before himself. When he finds his widowed neighbor struggling to keep afloat with a little boy in tow and another on the way, she becomes his first priority.
Each book in The Billionaire Lumberjack series has been an amazing read, and this one, Billionaire Lumberjack Bargain was exceptionally emotional. All the books have a common theme but are not connected and can be read in any order. Life is hard at the best of times, but all the characters in this one have suffered immense loss, which makes them the perfect people to lean on when joy and happiness seem like they’ll never see the light of day again. Finding someone who understands, someone who has had to figure out how to survive by moving through it can be your saving grace.
Dalton James sharing his experiences and wisdom from the road he has already walked with Camille and Davey were some of the most heart-wrenchingly beautiful scenes ever to grace the pages of a book. Dalton brought no jealousy or animosity to Camille’s life and he honored her life before him. How he stepped into Camille’s life to bring her joy again but never to replace anyone or belittle her time before him, was profoundly touching.
The story is done in dual POV in each chapter, which I think really played into helping the reader get the inside scoop of what each character was contemplating. They each had some major thoughts to work through, fighting their own internal battle over blossoming feelings, right and wrong, or being “morally correct.”
Love isn’t always wrapped up in a pretty little box with a pretty little bow. Sometimes, love breaks through the lines we consider “normal,” and it can be a struggle to accept that. Camille and Dalton had very different ideals to work through, so I particularly enjoyed having both POVs in this book.
I’d consider this book a slow-burn, and that may not be found often in Gwyn’s books, it was the right pace for Dalton and Camille’s story. It gave their love time to bloom, grow, and blossom, just like the spring flowers in the meadow. I savored this story and let my heart feel it all. But not to worry. Once the seal is broken, Dalton makes up for everything he's missed out on, ten-fold! This book is not lacking in steam value. But not to worry. I was somewhat saddened to know this was the last of the books in the series, but my little frown got turned upside down at the end of the story when Gwyn announced a new Lumberjack series on the horizon, and I can’t wait to read all about the McBride brothers. My calendar is marked for August 2025 when Beneath The Mountain Sky will hit my Kindle.

Billionaire Lumberjack’s Bargain is the fifth and final interconnected standalone in Gwyn McNamee’s Lumberjacks in Love series. Gwyn McNamee brought on the waterworks with this story about a widowed single mother, Camille, trying to keep her homestead afloat after losing her husband and a reclusive young billionaire, Dalton, who strikes up a bargain to help her temporarily with the homestead. The second Dalton starts helping around her homestead, though, he can’t help but start to have feelings for the beautiful Camille.
Camille was such a remarkable and strong heroine with everything she endured, and Dalton was a lovable hero who acted like a protector not only for Camille and her son, Davey, but also for his grandfather, whom he worried about due to his health issues, and the threat of someone trying to take their mountain away. I also appreciated Dalton’s grandfather; although he could be tough and stubborn at times, he had a big soft heart for Camille for her troubles and her adorable son, Davey.
I really enjoyed this small-town lumberjack romance between Dalton and Camille. It’s one of my favorites in the series, thanks to the lovable characters and the emotional, beautiful storyline that Gwyn McNamee wrote for them. It’s definitely one book I’ll never forget and I give it five stars and wish I could give it more.

This is the fifth book in the Lumberjacks in Love series, and I think it may just be my favorite. It can be read as a standalone, but you will want to read the rest of the series to meet the other sinfully sexy men. Dalton is a young man who lives with his grandfather on their family mountain. Dalton has not had an easy life but fortunately, his Pops was there to help him grow up. Camille is a woman who moved to the mountain with her son and husband to get away from the rest of the world. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned and their heaven became something no one could have expected. Ms. McNamee has once again penned a wonderful storyline that will have any reader falling in love with these characters. Dalton is that man who is attentive, caring, and willing to do anything he must to protect his family. He is steadfast and true with a heart of gold. Camille is a strong, independent woman who stands up when faced with challenges. Her care towards Dalton’s grandfather is beautiful to watch as she gets the older man to do things that he was reticent against. The way these characters interact and the banter between them has the pages turning quickly (even though you do not want it to end.) Overall, I really loved this storyline and recommend it.

dreamed of. One day, she stumbles upon the mountain's owner's
grandson, who happened to show up on the property after finding out
about her husband's death and wanting to check and make sure everything
was ok, which he very quickly notices it's not. He offers to help her
but of course, being weiry of a stranger and also stubborn She reluctantly
denies any help. But our Sweet Lumberjack isn't taking no for an answer
thus offering her a bargain she can't refuse.
As always, author Gwyn McNamee has once again made me fall in love
not only with the story but her main characters, especially our Lumberjack
Dalton. By the time I was a quarter way into the novel, I was already
in love with him. His golden retriever personality was perfect for the story
line and had me swooning almost immediately. I also want to mention that
I absolutely loved the fact that he was a virgin. It's such a rare thing, and
it's nice to see that MMC be unexperianced and vulnerable. I just loved how
effortlessly, it all came together

Just finished Billionaire Lumberjacks Bargain by Gwen McNamee (@gwynmcnamee ). I live myself some ranchers. It did take me a bit longer to read due to personal reasons. But I think it’s a great read, it flows amazingly. It’s the type of story where you get invested on will they or won’t they. There’s some issues the MCs face. The spice is good could have had more but it’s ok because it feels authentic. It is a slow burn, small town, age gap single mom romance. It isn’t the normal age gap where the man is older this time it’s the single mom Camille whose husband passed away. She and their son were living alone on a mountain with her only neighbours Dalton and his grandfather. Dalton lost his parents when he was young so he became super sheltered living on the mountain side his family owed for over 200 years. So when Dalton found out about Camille he went to help her get ready for surviving winter. So what happened? Was there a force that will drive them apart before they can get started?? Read it and find out.

This story is such a tear jerker, from losing the love of her life living on a mountain with her five year old son and losing her husband two months ago. She gets the unexpected encounter of someone showing up on her homestead. From the min Dalton met her, he had this pull to her and her son. They both have dark aspects of their background that is tough to talk about until they made a deal with each other. She needs help getting ready for the winter and she wont be able to do it all in her condition and Dalton finds out she was an ER nurse and asks for help with his Pops. The found family energy throughout this whole story is my favorite part. How Dalton will fight for his whole family even though he has his own limitations. The two main characters make each other better and Pops to boot was great as a side counter for his dynamite drop ins on them. Absolutely loved reading this and devoured in less than a day.

Shew....Camille and Dalton are absolutely swoon-worthy. I kept getting interrupted and I just wanted to read! Camille is a widow, pregnant, single mom who has stubborn streak. Dalton is a reclusive young billionaire who is trying to keep everything running smoothly on the mountain. This series has given us such great characters who all are facing different challenges. I loved that Pops, Dalton’s grandfather who has raised him and Davey (Camille’s son) bonded so easily. This reverse age-gap with Dalton having less experience definitely needs to be on your bingo card. I don't want to give away anything because the way things unfold is just perfect. You get a little suspense/danger mixed with neighbors helping neighbors until it turns into something more! Once you start reading it’s going to be hard to stop!

Loved Camille and Dalton’s story. Camille and her son are living on James' property and trying her best to keep it all together since the loss of her husband and when Dalton shows up to help he gets a huge surprise when they come face to face. Dalton is young and inexperienced in many ways, but he means well and can’t seem to help enough. He’s getting closer to Camille and her son and not sure how to tamp down the feelings that are creeping up for him and unbeknownst to him Camille is beginning to have feelings for Dalton that she doesn’t know what to do with, she’s pregnant with her late husband's baby and that kind of puts a crimp in a relationship. Someone is out to get the property away from the James family and at whatever cost, which puts Camille, her son and unborn child in danger. Such a great story by this author. These Lumberjack books are amazing and a must read.

Camille & Dalton's story is a swoony, steamy and sweet one.
Dalton is just barely out of his twenties, but with a mental toughness beyond his years. He's grown up on James mountain all his life, and it is all he's known. His innate kindness and protectiveness make him likeable almost immediately.
Camille doesn't have the rich mountain history as Dalton and his family do, but she's come to regard the mountain as her true home. At the start, she's wary, uncertain and afraid, but as she and Dalton work together to make a better home for her and children, the strength hidden inside her shines through.
I liked that Gwyn McNamee made this a slow burn. It gave us a great storyline, along with the underlying suspense, as well as giving Camille & Dalton space to grow and blossom. I truly enjoyed this read.

No matter what type of book Gwyn writes she always manages to pull on the emotional heartstrings! I loved every minute of this book and could not get enough!
The two main characters, Dalton and Camille meet in an unlikely way but it changes both their lives- for the better.
Camille is struggling to survive after loosing her husband and she feels like she will never see her dreams come to light.
In walks the younger lumberjack who shows Camille that asking for help isn't showing weakness. Dalton is there to help her through it while also having her keep an eye out for his Pops.
This book was perfect and had me hooked from page one. I'm always super jacked when I get more of the Billionaire Lumberjacks from Gwyn because I know it's going to be a wild ride!!

I haven't ventured into Gwyn McNamee's Lumberjack books yet and I'm definitely kicking myself for waiting this long to do so. James Mountain is definitely the place you want to live if the chaos of the world at large has you needing a more peaceful life. Camille and her family had found the perfect life for themselves here until tragedy struck. Dalton has lived here his entire life and knows how to manage what can be harsh seasons. He'll do what it takes to make sure Camille can survive no matter the cost to himself. A great older woman/younger man trope with the addition of suspense, humor and amazing intimate times gives us a well rounded read.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Camille and Dalton was undeniable and sizzling. They were made for each other.

Another solid addition to this series! Dalton has lived his entire life on the mountain with his grandfather who raised him. Camille is a widow with a young child and another on the way. She also lives on the mountain. They meet when Dalton finds out that her husband died and no one had been by to check on her. He decides to help her get ready for winter if she will check on his grandfather who has been having some health issues. As time goes on, they become closer. Each one leaning on the other for their needs. Throw in a little suspense and we get a well written story. I really enjoyed reading their journey to happiness!

I am a HUGE fan of this author and have enjoyed the LUMBERJACK series. Each one is unique and each can be read as a stand-alone.

Dalton and Camille are quite the pair. They’re both a bit stubborn, but family always comes first. There’s a conflict of emotions since Camille is recently widowed, with a little boy named Davey, and another baby on the way. Dalton is much younger (yay for reverse age gap), and has lived on the mountain his entire life. There’s a spark between them, but under the circumstances it’s a challenge for both of them. They are both stubborn, but that’s part of the spark between them, and what makes them strong enough to live in an isolated world. Dalton’s love for his grandfather is heartwarming. When they finally come together, things really start heating up.

Dalton and Camille start on really shaky ground and watching the progression of work, life, love is pretty cool. Camille is dead set on living on the mountain and making it work. She's got a number of challenges in making that work! Luckily, Dalton is undeterred by a shotgun and sees there could be a mutually beneficial workaround to her problem and his.
Such a heart-warming read.

Camille is trying to keep it together after the death of her husband and being a single mom to Davey and about to have another makes it that much harder on her. Dalton lives on the mountain and is her neighbor who offers to help her and things take a steamy, reverse age gap romance turn. I loved Camille and Dalton's heartbreakingly beautiful love story. The writing is well done, the characters are believable and are perfect for each other. Billionaire Lumberjack's Bargain is another great read by a very talented author and I recommend this book, this series, and this author to everyone who loves to read great books. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

As a former nurse Dalton inquires about her helping Pops memory loss, will she figure it out or not?

Camille and Dalton story is one with lots of troubles, up and downs, and all the angst you could imagine.
She is recently widowed, and a mother trying her best to have her home up and running all on her own.
He is doing all he can to manage his and his grandfather’s home and legacy without any much information.
The slow burn this story gives is wonderful, but it had me tearing up half the time. Each of them has their baggage and this brings issues to them. But the wonderful bond they find in this mountain and the help they give each other through adversity makes the story come together in the best way.

Camille is bound and determined to try and provide the life that she wanted for her child despite the heartbreak that she went through. She is resilient and does not like asking for help.
So what happens when this older woman and younger man get together to fight to protect what they love the most? Well you are just going to have to read it.

Every single time I read something by Gwyn I say “She just can’t get any better!” And now here she is proving me wrong AGAIN! I absolutely loved this book! 😭 It is such a heart warming story that I’m going to be reaching for over and over again. My new comfort read! I hardly ever re read books. But this one? There’s no way I can go with only reading it once. Dalton and Camille’s story completely stole my heart. I laughed, cried and swooned throughout the thing. If you are looking for a swoony feel good small town romance this one is definitely for you!

Billionaire Lumberjack's Bargain was a heart squeezing, amazing story that resonated with love, passion, and a wonderful sense of family. This reverse age gap romance had all the feels, with Dalton, a swoony hot lumberjack who's just a little bit broken, and Camille, a single mom who suddenly finds herself in need of help. It's not your typical rom-com, but rather, a romance where the emotional ups and downs definitely pulled at my heartstrings and reminded me that sometimes we all could use a helping hand. And that sometimes, love finds us in the most unexpected places!

I really enjoyed Billionaire Lumberjack’s bargain, it was a great addition to the series. I really enjoyed the plot, characters and the way the story flowed so well. Camille was a headstrong woman just trying to keep it together for her family after they’d endured so much. She was very proud but also knew when she needed help. Dalton was a good man who just wanted to protect his family’s legacy and would do everything he could to do so. They had a solid attraction and i loved seeing it turn into a genuine connection. I loved little Davey!
