A quick and tasty read!
Vanessa goes into her favorite bakery one morning, and everything has changed! Gone are the special pastries that used to draw her in, replaced by boring breads. Not to mention a grumpy baker. Hmm. She could use a little less of his attitude. Doesn't matter how hot he is.
Daniel is making bread when Vanessa comes into the bakery. She's not his usual type, but those curves draw him in! He could tell she was disappointed as she left, though. He can't have that. He makes it a point to fix it. Once he learns what her favorite pastry is, he finds the recipe and decides to perfect it for her. Because she's the only sweet treat he wants!
OMG! A man who will bake to put a smile on your face? Yes, please! Daniel was a grump, but Vanessa got under his skin. Once he decided on her, she was all he cared about. OTT? Yes. A little stalker-ish? Sure. But still just as sweet as the pastries he bakes!
You won't regret biting into this tasty little treat!

3.5 stars. Vanessa, the female lead, is disappointed to find her town bakery has been taken over by Daniel, the male lead, and her favourite bakery item no longer exists. She’s also not willing to broach the issue with him, finding him intimidatingly gruff and attractive.

Daniel is shocked to find himself obsessively attracted to Vanessa and determined to win her over. Now he just needs to convince her he’s worth the risk.

This short story is dual POV, well edited, and a sweet and steamy, small town, contemporary romance. I enjoyed the cute awkwardness of Daniel and Vanessa’s initial interactions. I enjoyed that Daniel was confident to identify his emotions immediately and I appreciated that he gave Vanessa space to work out her own.

Vanessa loves getting her goodies at Molly's Tasty Treats, and it was sold to Daniel, Daniel, the grumpy new baker, has changed everything, including getting rid of her favorite peanut butter pocket donuts. The relationship of these two didn't start off on the right foot and kept getting worse but he started having feelings for Vanessa. Feelings that he buried long time ago from past relationship that burnt him. Daniel makes it his mission to win her over, baking her favorite treats and following her around, leading to hot and intense encounter. The connection grew and the attraction combusted. A great story and you are going to love it as much as I did.

Daniel and Vanessa. Shes the towns librarian. She visits the bakery to soothe her nerves and molly the owner said she would be closed a week only for changes and it looks like a different place. Her anxiety is starting where are all the favorite things and her peanut butter donut. She sees a baker in the back. A an. A striking man that sends shocks through her. Where's Molly? He bought the bakery from her last week. Hes grumpy asking what she wants he doesn't have time. She pays and has to get away from him she doesn't understand the feeling hes causing. After she escapes hes feeling the same and wonders what's wrong with him. He cant get her out of his mind. Suddenly she sees him everywhere. Well written great story. Loved it.

Still no peanut nut pockets in cookbooks, bakery search produced old folder with recipes What does Daniel with the recipe? What does Daniel do after finding recipes? Does he have a plan? What is his final goal?.

Vanessa is a shy, curvy, librarian. She's a virgin and has a love for pastries. Daniel is the hunky, grumpy baker who just bought her favorite bakery. When they meet for the first time, both are attracted to each other, but Daniel becomes obsessed and starts immediately watching her and trying to win her over. The chemistry was hot, the romance was at first sight and very over the top but cute. We also got a great HEA. This was a fun, fast-paced, spicy short.

Stalked Sweetly.
Fantastic. Vanessa walks into her favorite place, Molly’s Bakery on the way to work at the library. But, everything is different and there’s no Molly or her favorite treat. The man behind the counter says he bought it and boy is he rude and grumpy. Daniel is confused by the instant feelings that envelop him. She’s not his type but, try telling that to his heart and body. Yeah, neither is listening to his brain. Vanessa is not sure what Daniel is doing showing up at the library but, she agrees to meet him when she’s done. Could he be serious about her or out for a little fun?.

Wonderful another story from Sara Hazel and Simone Black when they release a new book. A wonderful story of Vanessa and Daniel, she works in the library and he is a baker. From the first moment they meet, there is chemistry and attraction between them. He is a grumpy man and every time he sees her he brightens up. she wants a relationship with him but doubts whether they are suitable for each other. Can Daniel make it clear to her that they are suitable for each other? Great story with great characters and plenty of steam.

Vanessa goes through the door of the bakery to buy her favorite treats, she is disappointed to see that the bakery no longer makes them; This disappointment fades when she discovers the new baker Daniel.

I loved Stalked by the Baker. This was a short and sweet story about Daniel the baker and Vanessa who works at the library. He’s grumpy and she’s a ray of sunshine who brightens his day. He will do anything to make her happy. Vanessa is drawn to the grumpy baker but doesn’t think they could be together but Daniel will convince her and have her forever. I loved the storyline and the characters. She will bring happiness back to his life. I would definitely recommend this book.

Vanessa is thrown out of routine when she gets to the bakery, only to find it under new management and completely changed. The icing on the cake is the gruff, grumpy, buff baker responsible. Not the best of introductions.

Daniel has moved from the city for a fresh start and is blindsided when he meets the curvy librarian. One look and he's obsessed.

Hazel and Black are an awesome writing duo, and this series is a great example of their product. Creative and enthralling, the story draws you into the lives of the characters. You get to know and understand them quickly, finding it easy to root for then to muddle through the barriers keeping them apart. Daniel and Vanessa each have reason to be wary. Will they let it hold them back, or will they power forward despite the risk?

Classic grumpy x sunshine short story. He's a baker and she's a librarian who happens to love Peanut Butter Pockets. For this being instalove and a short story, it didn't feel rushed to me. Sure, I would have loved to see their relationship blossom but the pace is nice considering the length. Also the title made me think it was going to be darker than it was, but the stalking was minimal, if any at all really.

Stalked by the Baker is the ninth book in the Alpha Stalking Her Curves series. This is a quick read with some high heat and intensity about Vanessa and Daniel. These two have an immediate pull to each other and he is immediately obsessed in every way with the curvy librarian. She may be attracted to the big, burly and sexy baker but she does not think a man like him would ever be attracted to her. Oh how wrong she is in every way and he is about to prove that over and over again.

The sweetest heat! I loved this novella. This is my first time reading a book that's about stalking specifically. I wasn't cringing like I expected to be. Daniel seemed just as confused and taken back by his overwhelming instant obsession with Vanessa. So, I definitely think that helped me to ease into this genre. The spicy bits were extra HOT 🥵 Daniel just wanted to love her so I'm happy that it ended in such a sweet way. This read is a perfect sweet treat that you definitely want to taste. 💜

The saying that the way to a man's heart is through the stomach works in this story, just the other way. He finds his way to her heart by baking her favorite treats. Vanessa pops into Molly's Tasty Treats for her favorite donut only to learn Molly has sold her bakery. Instead of leaving with her favorite treat, she leaves with new grumpy baker Daniel's attention. There is an instant chemistry between them. Daniel never expected to become obsessed with a girl he barely knows but he knows she is definitely the one!

A hot new baker in town

Daniel is the proud owner of a new bakery. He takes away the old pastries and adds some of his own. Vanessa is a local librarian and loves a specific donut at Molly's bakery. She is left disappointed when they aren't made anymore. There are sparks of possessiveness and wanting what's his from the baker. You could feel the chemistry between them. Attractive grumpy Baker meets the librarian. This is not your typical grumpy man who is always always always confrontational. No this one is able to take a pun in a punch. Daniel is able to even with his stalkerish behavior make you want to laugh, and joke with Vanessa. Vanessa is the prize. Even though these two have a great banter, he needs to come up with a way to glazer her heart. Good read.

I would say this book was more on the tame side when it comes to spice level, but it did have its moments where things got a little hot n' heavy in the kitchen! Daniel and Vanessa. Hmm, in the stalker sense it wasn’t that. He went to the library, where he knows she works. She could rename it Obsessed, not stalker.
He was his own version of a grump, and I enjoyed her confidence that she got.
