Much more puzzle than graphic novel, the story was interesting enough to unite the puzzle elements together, without much room for character depth. Still, I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking to find a unique "escape room" type experience.

The difficulty of each prompt was pretty haphazard: rather than ascending gradually, some took quite a bit to get through, while some of the later ones took merely seconds. The strong uniting theme, however, made everything feel gratifying and added another layer of immersion.

I know it's Exit's thing, but I did wish we didn't have to cut up sections of the book. The first cut was also awkward because it had to be wrench-shaped.

This book sort of forces you to cut it up, which I don’t really like. Puzzle difficulty is a bit uneven with some being really simple and some I struggled to see even with hints.
The story isn’t particularly great. It’s fine, but it really overuses random science terms to explain magical phenomena.

The riddles in this one were not my favorites compared to some of the other Exit games I have done recently. However I thought that the concept of an escape room game in a graphic novel form was really cool and overall well done. The story was fun too!
