"Rozpacz beznadziejna. Ciemność we mnie i przede mną.

This is not a book you can rate in a typical way.
“Za drutami śmierci” is a diary — a raw and powerful testimony of a man who survived the horrors of Nazi labor camps. It shows not only what happened, but how people were forced to think and function when reduced to basic survival: food, sleep, warmth.
The descriptions are often shocking and deeply unsettling. This is not an easy read, but an important one.
What makes it even more impactful is the context in which it was written — the author recorded his experiences on scraps of cement bags and hid them within the camp. That alone adds an incredible layer of authenticity and weight.
It is a gripping yet მძიმე reading experience, offering a direct insight into the reality of the Holocaust.
A powerful and essential testimony for anyone interested in history and World War II.

Książka świetna, nie spodziewałam się tych opisów, człowiek który ją pisał przeżył całą wojnę, ja gdy czytałam tę książkę czułam się jakbym stała obok i widziała te wszystkie zdarzenia. Każdemu to polecę.
