CP: Zhi Xian X Tong Xiaosong Content Advisory: Sweet pet, both are inexperienced, ghost as the dominant partner
This novel started off so well! I really liked the unique concept, especially the idea of the love interest being a ghost. The writing was well, and the story had a lot of potential. However, I have to say that I disliked the ghost for sexually assaulting the main character. Can one danmie not have SA ffs.
That aside, the first part of the story was engaging and well-written. But after chapter 69, things went downhill fast. By that point, the main plot felt complete, and everything from chapters 70 to 97 was just filler. Those chapters added nothing to the story, and honestly, I couldn't even finish the novel because of how bad it got—I stopped reading at chapter 90.
At first, I thought this would be a solid 7.5/10, but now I can't even give it a 5—it just doesn't deserve that much. If you're planning to read this, my advice is to stop at chapter 69 and enjoy what was a great story.
Should have just dropped it, unfortunately the writing isn't good and it keeps moving too fast with little to no chemistry between characters. Not for me.
