Another crackers adventure

We're six books in now and I'm still non the wiser about what the hell is going on with the dodgy blokes trying to steal the babies!

But, this series, if you accept it for what it is, is still an amusing and entertaining omegaverse world with all the stuff you'd expect in one.

Crazy sex, overly exited dirty talk and plots that follow the same beat each time and yet still manage to bring a fresh perspective.

Wren and Fang are a great match for each other, Steffie is a cute baby, although we don't get any more info on her situation either after the suggestion is thrown out that she might be someone else.

It doesn't matter though, this series works great as a reboot for the brain when you want something short with a guaranteed plotline.

This was a smut fest I finished for the sprinkling of progression. From the off, the baby reveal isn't hidden and Fang likes to watch. The bad guys are on the case, and its a roadtrip to Wren's apartment. Add in virgin's first heat and a rescue/attack mission, everything is the same. I did enjoy the group chats. Curious about the Naira stego thing. The butler still getting involved whilst they were on the road was cool. It was alright, but got repetitive.

Now that Quinlan (from book 5) has gotten his things out of the apartment, it’s his roommate’s, Wren’s time to retrieve his most cherished items before the landlord evicts him. Wren, a mage, has three weeks to get his things out of the apartment, but he doesn’t want to take any chances of losing his precious heirlooms.

Wren is in the same situation as Quinlan; he couldn't pay the rent because he had no money. To get to his apartment, he has to cross over three states which would cost a fortune to him; plus, it would be dangerous to go alone with his baby Phoenix, Steffie; she sometimes sets things on fire. Being despair his only option was to ask Fang Cedargrove, a wolf, who works for the company Central.

Fang has had his eyes on Wren since he met him. Now the man was right before him, asking for his protection and money to retrieve his belongings. There’s always a price to pay, and Fang didn’t want Wren’s money or whatever little magic he had, Fang wanted to watch Wren whenever or however “he” wanted him. That’s a pretty open book.

Fang's request was embarrassing, but what else could he do? Wren needed to retrieve his belongings and be protected from all the bad guys. So, Wren agrees. Lucky for Wren, Fang had the foresight to have everything they would need for Steffie.

The trip went smoothly, at first, and then the bad guys showed up, but they were lucky to get away. Now they were on constant alert. Wren remembers his mother telling him he had a wealth of magic inside of him, but he needed to search within himself to retrieve it.

They manage to box up all the belongings that Wren wanted, but on the way back they go through a horrible battle with the bad guys, and the guys who could set a person on fire showed up which almost cost Fang his life. They were trying to catch a different animal; Fang and Wren got into the middle of it. It was then Wren’s wealth of magic came through at the nick of time or things would have been worse.

I don’t want to give all the details away, reading it is so much better; my only guess would be that the new stranger will be in the next book. Plus, I must say, I loved that this book was written without those corny “pick-up” lines.

Once again, this is a well-written book by Anna Wineheart. I rank this one up with my other favorites from this series. I highly recommend the book. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wren gets his wolf

This was a pretty cute read. Definitely packed with the outrageous antics that Wineheart likes, but it was tolerable here.

Wren was adorable. I’m so glad that Fang was the guy for him. They made such an adorable couple.

I have (temporarily) caught up on the read-asap-arcs so...why not read something that's debuted from one of my favorite series in the last couple of weeks? Here's Anna Wineheart's "How To Hide Your Phoenix Child." Its the sixth book in her Closet Baby Chronicles (and all of it is pure freaking crack).

["Wren is on a mission, one he can't do alone. To succeed, he asks a big, dangerous man for help.

This series is sooooo freaking good. There's so much just mated moments and building heat and sweet fluff (and nosy but well-meaning butlers). It's hot as hell, the spice is on. point. But its also soooo adorable watching these beefy alphas melting for their fated omegas and their babies. And the skittish but sweet omegas accepting their vulnerability and letting their fated alphas take care of them. I never want this series to end (BUT I also neeed these bad guys ended).

**4.5**
I adore this series, it's a perfectly entertaining romance with a bit of drama added in to keep things interesting.
Wren and Fang have a great chemistry from the start, Wren being shyer but in need of help whilst Fang is determined in what he wants from the younger mage in return for his help. Something different but those who have read Samson's story will know all about Fang's voyeur tendency. Things get interesting, in the bad way, as people come after them while on the road, travelling with Wren's baby, Steffie, who needs protection, just like all of the other kids from this series. Wren really steps up to help protect them all, even though his inner well of magic is reduced but Fang is sweet, stepping in to make sure he is rested and cared for, at least until he then looks after him in a more personal way....
A great heat and attraction between the two keeps things sizzling along through the story, as does Fang's determination to get Wren to believe he's worthy of love. Steffie is an adorable addition, even with her random little moments that might draw the wrong attention. There is another butler, Hector, to bring chaos and terrible pick up lines to the family.
Another hit in this entertaining series, can't wait to see who gets their crazy story next.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Sweet Wren is a ball of anxiety on any given day.
He's got a lot going on and he's desperately trying his best to care for his sweet niece Steffie after her parents disappeared.
He doesn't feel amply equipped to care for her because he doesn't really believe in himself.
He needs a big, strong protector in order to retrieve some valuable items left behind at his previous home before he and his friends had to flee.
Fang has already been introduced and has shown lots of interest in Wren.
Wren has no way to pay Fang for his help but Fang proposes that Wren can pay by allowing Fang to watch him, however and whenever.
Wren agrees quickly because he's intrigued by Fang.
As they travel together, it quickly becomes apparent how much chemistry there is between them.
Fang is also very sweet with Steffie and continously shows just how much he cares for them.
Wren has a very hard time believing that he's worthy of someone like Fang but he just keeps telling Wren and showing him just how much he wants and needs him.
They do run into trouble and meet a new ally who I'm very curious about.
Wren digs deep end finally us able to find an even greater source of power within himself.
I can't wait for Pinks story.

This can be read as a standalone but I wouldn’t recommend it.

What happens when a mage, a wolf and a baby phoenix take a road trip together? Lots of funny moments, lots of tender moments and a lot more sexy moments especially since the price of that trip is the driver getting to watch your every move.

That’s what happened when Wren asks Fang to drive him and his daughter to his old apartment to get some things before the landlord gets rid of it.

Fangs price: he gets to watch Wren do whatever he wants.

Between babies, falling in love, nosy butlers, cringe pickup lines, deadly Assasins, dragons who don’t understand basic courting and a moving statue this book literally has it all.

It also has many, many, many hot steamy scenes that start almost from the very beginning.

I can’t wait for the next book.

Personal request for a future book:

Emmy shows up and signs all the butlers copies of his book and gives them all butt blessings and maybe brings Rex with him.

When Wren asks Fang for help, he never imagined the way his life would change. As Wren and Fang drive to retrieve Wren’s belongings chaos erupts. Through it all Fang is there to protect Wren and his baby. Along the way emotions show themselves and trust is gained. Can the two find a way to not only safety but to love as well?
I enjoyed the interaction between Fang and Wren. It was nice to see the softer side of Fang that only those close to him get to see. I loved seeing Wren find the strength that he needs with support from Fang. Their story moves at a good pace and I enjoyed seeing the friendships that have been made throughout this series and how they all care and help each other. Love the butlers and of course the cringy pick up lines that have become a staple in these books. This is a fun and engaging read that makes for a great addition to this series and I cannot wait to see what happens next in this world.

A cute, low-angst mpreg romance with another unique pairing. Fang and Wren start out with a bit of a forced-proximity deal that brings them closer. Wren has low self esteem, and it was lovely to see Fang help him grow and overcome that in part. Wren also has some issues with his magic, and I really liked how that was resolved in the end. Some light is shed on Fang’s voyeurism, and it definitely plays an important part in how he and Wren get together. I had hoped to find out more about Steffi’s phoenix abilities or what might have happened to her parents. The secondary characters are as chatty and friendly as ever, even if some of them are a bit at odds still but that could be a lovely teaser for a frenemies-to-lovers romance… The butlers are so peculiar and at times hilarious in their meddling. I’d actually love to see one of them find love too.

Adorable Phoenix Baby Hot Guys

Wren needs to get his stuff from his old apartment so he asks Fang to help him go there with his baby Stephie. She's a Phoenix and with the people after special babies it not safe. Can't agrees to do it for a price. A watching Wren any time one which since Wren likes Fang and wants him he agrees.

There trip does encounter some issues but they deal with them. Its not just the bad guys either. Heat and Rut happy which was seriously hot as fire.

I loved how sweet Fang was with Wren and Stephie. Stephie in shifted form I wanted to hold and cuddle. Fang as his wolf I know they both enjoyed. There is a pregnancy as usual. The sex is out this world hot. I can't wait for more especially with the new characters that are joining. The group chats are great and so are the butlers.

Such a cute read! I loved Wren and Fang’s story so much! Anna’s books really hit my feels with her main characters being so insecure but having an amazing alpha mate to lift them up. Wren’s anxiety made me resonate with him and I was just so happy for him in this book. There is plenty of steamy scenes as well as funny scenes with the butlers. This is a must read and the books before this in the series could be read before this but are not as necessary. There is an overarching plot so if you don't want to be confused it would be best to read the other books. 10/10 recommend!

i received this an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

He wants to watch you do everything. You can do this, right?

I am so in love with this series! My old friends are here. Yes, that includes the butlers with the infamous pink book of pick-up lines. This story belongs to Wren and Fang. Wren has to fireproof everything so Steffie doesn't burn the house down. She is a phoenix baby, after all. Ooh yeah, there is wall to wall sexy times. Keep your fan handy. Yes, there is danger. But together, Wren and Fang will prevail; with a little help from their friends. So, grab this book...now! Although it isn't necessary, I recommend reading the previous books in order. You won't regret it.

Side note before I get into my review, I've sort of accepted that a book between Mav and Telos will not happen for this series but fingers crossed that it's like the first book in a spinoff series.
Anyway, I enjoyed this book. I liked Wren and Fang and their steamy scenes were great. Even though Wren was such a nervous person he was able to talk to Fang without being a total mess. I am wondering how many books there will be and when the bad guy issues get resolved. The bad guys are never mentioned in epilogues, so either they aren't important to wrapping up the characters stories or they aren't any issue any longer. Future me will find out.

Okay, I love this series. How to Hide Your Phoenix baby is full of love, angst, and humor. I love this blend. It kept me turning the pages. Fang... How can anyone not want a hunky rough around the edges wolf, who is sexy, kind, and wants to see you literally all the time?
Wren is quiet, shy, and adores Fang. These two might seem like an odd coupling but they are fire together. I would love to see more of these two in the future.
when you want a story that will make you smile and fall in love this is the one to pick up.

FANG AND WREN

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Another Mpreg romance by Anna Wineheart who shows the ability to make her characters’ emotions be felt by the reader. I loved the way Fang wanted someone to love and how Wren needed to be loved and not alone. The threats that they endeavor make it known that love can conquer all. The progression of their feelings and obligations toward each other and Steffie made this story a work of wonderful things for everyone in the story.

Dicky Mems is still haunting everyone in the circle. I love the Butler Gang-they are outrageous and over-the-top funny. They are as much fun as the couples themselves. Fang and his Little Birdie are so sickeningly sweet together that you cannot help but love them and their ever-growing brood. I wish I could see the small golden feathers floating in the air.

I read and reviewed a copy of this book.

Fabulous story

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story about Wren and Fang. Fang was in love with Wren when he met him and their story was full of action and lots of steamy moments as well as lots of danger for all involved while they tried to protect Wren's niece. I loved the story how eventually Wren learned how to use his magic as he was meant to and developed the love for Fang.

I am voluntarily writing this review and it is my honest and true opinion.

Wren finds himself in a predicament and in order to get himself out of it , he strikes a deal with Fang.
This new deal sees them in a trip to retrieve Wrens belongings and in doing so makes them vulnerable to threat.

A book full of kinky times, some humorous moments, action, danger and one realising their own self potential, with a cute HEA. This is a good read overall and a nice addition to the series.

What a plethora of magical creatures! This was humorous, suspenseful, gripping and romantic beyond words. I loved Hector. He's so snarky and smart even when he's being choked by Fang to shut him up. It was awesome when Wren found his hidden powers. One body is wonderful, but a second one was stupendous!

If you take the sex out of these stories, they are quite cute. Big strong Alpha helping a stranger with an unusual child and then falling in love and having their own kids.
Once Fang and Wren got started mating, it seemed they had a child a year.

I am happy that these men who find themselves on hard times due get a HEA.

This is a terrific book that kept me glued to the pages until the very end. There is a great story, fantastic chemistry between the characters and, something of everything else to appeal to readers. I think you might enjoy this story on its own, I however, believe the series is best read in order.

Another Adventure Added to the Series

I like the stories told. They're sweet, funny, and hilariousness and shenanigans thread throughout, plus romance and love. I do wonder if Steffie's dad will return in some form or fashion. Also, I think the magical carts are cute, too!

Wren + Fang
•A virgin mage caring for his baby Phoenix 🐦‍🔥-shifter niece
•A wolf-shifter who likes to watch and is willing to help

Fang and Wren were so good together. Wren, so sweetly sexy and needy, is falling for Fang. Fang wants Wren, his little Birdie. Such a lovely nickname. Lots of sexy times, a baby Phoenix and a few bad men. Looking forward to the next book

Love the hunt

Wren is such a sweetheart. Him not being able to access his full power really messed with his self esteem. But I was so happy that Fang was able to show him how special he really is.
