This is the final book in the Magical Midlife Librarian series. Rosalind has managed to stop Krampus twice now but he still hasn’t been punished. Not content to be on the sidelines, she wants to help Klaus with more than just finding a spell form the Forbidden Tomes to keep Krampus from sabotaging the peace negotiations with the humans. But it’s hard to concentrate when Henry is all work and when Iggy is becoming sluggish and tired. Not too mention family drama on top of all that! Rose has so many things on her mind, will something slip past her or can she manage to stop Krampus for good?
This was such a wonderful finale for this series! The Kraus and Krampus connection is finally explained, as are the Queen's real reasons and motivations for never punishing Krampus. And this book was definitely humorous! I absolutely love that Rose is full of eye rolling puns and that she doesn't care if anyone else thinks they are funny or not! She is an absolutely fun character! She is finally finding herself and letting go of her worry about what anyone thinks of her. But it is not all fun and games. There are tense moments when you aren't sure which way things will go and you might be holding your frozen breath! Even Henry has you wondering what is going on his head!
There are new magical creatures in this book as well.
I have absolutely enjoyed this series and already have the first book in the previous series on my TBR to get to sooner rather than later!

A great ending to a great series.
Rosalind is doing pretty good in the library, more fae are trusting her, she’s figuring things out but there are still a few problems. The dating life with Henry isn’t working very well, he’s always too busy. And the Krampus is up to something like always. As well as the fact that her brother and best friend are together but they followed her back to the library, they’re not supposed to know anything.
There is a meeting between Queen Mab and the Earth leaders to resign the ten-year treaty between the two groups. This treaty is renewed every ten years. But things aren’t going the way they should.
There is some action, mystery, suspense, surprises, an iffy romance and humour.
This book is a good ending to the series but I’m sure some of the characters will reappear in the Magical Midlife Mom series which is still ongoing.
A quick, fun, enjoyable read.
I highly recommend this. I will also be checking out any other books by this author.

Rosalind Baldwin, has a task to complete for St Nick, the fae’s peace treaty with humanity is up for renewal and Krampus is plotting to take it down. I loved this and seeing more of Jason and Rosalind's BFF. Agatha is still my very favorite part of this series, although Iggy is close.

This story has more horrid fae plots with Krampus going all out evil, more family and friends in peril, a dragon and ancient tree in danger and more of Henry, the swoony, if grumpy boyfriend, if they can work out their issues.

Recommended if you like cozy mysteries, books about living libraries and Fae Court politics.

Too Fun to Put Down

Having just completed this third in the three-part series, Magical Midlife Librarian, I would like to heartily recommend it to readers of paranormal fiction! Besides the ongoing interaction between characters as disparate as fire-breathing dragons (but they are horse-sized, so manageable), dwarves, grumpy dryads, a Sasquatch (our leading man, albeit on the hairy side), a healing angel, and even Santa and his evil twin, there’s something for everyone to love—and hate, what attracted me the most were the subtle messages about good versus evil, that anyone is redeemable, and that we Can all get along, despite—and often because of—our differences!

Rosalind is back and doing her job to help all her visitors. But of course she ends up being dragged into politics. Entertaining at times as Rosalind deals with everything going on in her personal life and the library. Fun to read and enjoyed it all as I tried to guess what might be going on and how it would play out. Enjoyed it.

Midlife, Magic and just a little mayhem

This is a lovely series, about a woman in midlife discovering herself and making her way in a newly discovered magical world. The setting of a sentient library adds to the charm and there are plenty of characters who play their part in Rosalind realising her powers and her self worth.

librarian hero

Rose is not your typical librarian although she is good finding what you need. I loved this third book and ending of the series as I love Iggy and Henry! Hopefully there will be a branch near me 🥰

Fae fantasy

Loved the description of the fae court. Queen Mab is a fierce opponent, dedicated to her court and tradition. Rosalind is different enough, with her human upbringing, to send the court reeling. An enjoyable journey through a fantasy wonderland.

It kept me guessing!

It was a puzzle trying to figure out what would happen next in the entire series. I loved that it kept me guessing. This was a fun read from beginning to the end.
