What a fun, phenomenal debut novel from Jen Aisling!
Corey and Bex are both such lovable and relatable characters. As a fellow curvy girl, I loved the plus size representation that came with Bex’s character. I found that I was able to relate to her struggles and the insecurities that she faced. Then we’ve got Corey who worked his way in and was able to help Bex see that she didn't need to change anything about herself or her body in order to be able accept love 💕
I enjoyed the fact that Corey was an adult film star. That was something unique that I don’t think I’ve personally seen in a romance novel before and loved it! Their meet-cute in Vegas was great, and I just loved how protective he was of Bex immediately…bc who doesn’t love a protective MMC?! These two are just the perfect match!
The side characters were amazing and this story flowed so well! I hope this isn’t the last that we see of these characters!
Corey and Bex were both lovable characters, and easy to connect with. As a fellow plus-sized woman, I loved the size representation with Bex's character, and I was able to relate to her struggles and insecurities with her body type. Corey swooped in and was able to get her to see that she didn't need to change anything about herself in order to accept love.
The fact that Corey was an adult film star was something unique that I hadn't personally seen in a romance novel before. It brought a fresh source of tension to their relationship and I liked it a lot! Their meet-cute in Vegas was great, and I loved how protective he was of Bex immediately (we love a protective MMC, right??).
The story flowed nicely, had great supporting characters, and is set up nicely to be continued as a series (I hope!). Endless thanks to Jen for entrusting me as an ARC reader!
Where to start I was keen for this as I was unsure how I would feel around the MMC being a porn star and it turns out not great. I do think this was mainly as Corey was awful.
Corey started out ok keen to see Bex and wanted something more however instantly lied/omitted the truth around his job. Ok plot point fine I can accept this. Next they chat for a few weeks on the phone still Bex is none the wiser. Then he turns up unannounced as he forgets to tell the woman he can’t stop thinking about that he has a few spare hours to see her. Bex has to leave work early to accommodate this is annoyed by it rightfully however instead of them having a conversation around this or a fight she suddenly has a break down around not wearing make up? There needed to be a conversation here so far they have talked about nothing important however are falling in love.
They spend the night together yet Corey still can break the news he has been lying. Bex finds out he is in fact staring in a porn film with his ex wife or ex girlfriend confusing as she is referred to as both however it also mentioned he didn’t define the relationship with her so I was confused around this. The conversation around this was awkward and awful Corey doesn’t really apologise for lying and then Bex seemed to be worried she could have said or done things differently as she felt she had ruined the relationship. I just couldn’t believe she was hurt or upset he had lied to her.
This is when I had to stop reading.
I love a curvy girl rep it’s one of my favourite things and this was ok however Bex started off being worried around her appearance which everyone can relate too and the fact that she didn’t think she looked good enough to be with Corey however seemed to have zero issues around his job which I just can’t imagine. Minor thoughts of it but really no way you could be just this ok with it.

I love when books have plus size MFCs and this one has one. I love it so much.
I fell in love with Corey and Bex from the first page. I loved their banter so much. Corey was totally into Bex from the first look. He loved her curves. I related to Bex so much and that made me love the story so much more.
Thank you so much Jen for the ARC. I enjoyed every single minute of this read!!
ALC Review
Bex and Corey forever!!
Debut novel by @authorjenaisling is a fun Vegas romance that takes place between a curvy plus size cocktail waitress and a porn star.
Amanda Willow and Sean Masters were fantastic. They really brought the character to life.
Jen wrote a very relatable character in Bex. I feel all the same insecurities.
Thank you to Tales & Teacups and Jen Aisling for selecting me to be part of this ebook tour!
Under the dazzling lights of Las Vegas, Bex, a curvy cocktail server, finds her world turned upside down when she catches the eye of Corey, a magnetic and enigmatic adult film star. Bex and Corey must confront their deepest fears and desires, discovering that the most extraordinary love stories are often written in the unlikeliest of places.
Bex is, like most women, uncomfortable in her body. Constantly comparing herself to those who are deemed skinnier, prettier, funnier, she thinks very little of herself. But I love how that is challenged over the course of the book. She slowly begins to see her body as a positive thing, not some prison she is trapped in. Sure, there is still some insecurity but of course there will be! Years of thinking doesn’t disappear overnight! (How we wish it could…) Bex’s big heart also must be mentioned. The way she works with teens is fantastic. Too many people wouldn’t bother but I absolutely adored how she put her heart and soul into being with those kids and doing all she could to make them happy and proud of themselves. Personally, I would be so proud having a friend like that! Corey is quite the catch. Beneath his hardened exterior after years of being in the limelight, he is practically a teddy bear. No, scratch that. He is a cinnamon roll through and through because he has some spice to him! What a great character Corey is. I adored the fact that when he looks at Bex or describes her, his focus is on her personality and feelings. He isn’t constantly looking at her boobs or saying things like “big hips, curvy stomach” etc to constantly accentuate her weight - which is something other authors would constantly draw attention to. Instead we get this man who allows himself to connect to his feelings and make the reader fall in love with him!
When I saw the call out for people to join this book tour, I knew I needed to apply. The synopsis gripped me instantly! By some wondrous miracle, I was accepted and I quickly dived in to reading the story. Good lordy this is GOOD. I could barely put the book down, knocking it out in a scant few sittings because I was hooked from start to finish. Not only do we see sex positivity, we see the massively important inclusion of a plus-sized female lead! It is so frustrating when the majority of female leads are skinny as anything or merely described as “curvy”. No, I want the girls with thick thighs, big hips and chubbier bellies because those girls are like me! I have been begging to find a FMC I can relate to in a romance/smutty story for ages and I am so, so glad to have found it here! The characters were pretty good. There were plenty of interactions between each other which was great, but the focus was certainly on the main duo. I do perhaps wish we could have gotten more of some of the other characters. See into their thought processes a bit more. But that’s probably just me being greedy. I will say this was a bit insta-love, which isn’t entirely my thing. However, how the romance was approached here was EVERYTHING! There are so many emotions here and I adore it when the heart overrules the head. When we see the softer emotions, we get to see vulnerability in the characters and it was brilliant to see many moments of this. Of course, this translated into the spice as well. Those scenes were full of trust and deeper emotions as well, which is perfection for me. But holy poop, they were smoking hot. It should really be unsurprising considering the profession of the MMC, but woooooo! The ending was brilliant! It closed this story perfectly whilst setting up plenty of possible scenarios for the future of the other characters. Well done Aisling!
Overall, Neon Nights is an absolutely brilliant book with positive rep we love to see!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Thank you again to Tales & Teacups and Jen Aisling.
This is an incredible, spicy age gap romance set in the perfect place for our two lovers, Sin City!
From the very first time they meet, you know it’s going to be good. Their meet-cute in a casino in Vegas, was perfection. Corey is immediately protective of Bex and from that moment they are both drawn to one another. That one night changes everything, and we get to read as their love story blossoms as they try to navigate their new relationship together.
Bex is feisty, caring, and so dang compassionate! I love her sass and the way she puts people at ease. She is incredibly thoughtful and caring. I love how patient she was with Corey, she listened to him and was there for him.
Our man Corey, is a man obsessed. I cannot get over how much I love him, and I mean him not his alter ego Frank (but he could be good too sometimes 😉). He was protective, possessive, and caring; but most importantly he loved Bex for who she was, including her own insecurities. Ugh, the way he showed Bex how much he loved her for who she was and how she made him feel was.. swoonworthy.
Both characters struggle with such relatable issues, and the miscommunication they endure is something that is so understandable. The fears they have over their own flaws and insecurities are things that a lot people can relate to. Bex struggles with body image issues, as she is curvy and isn’t always the most confident in that. And, Corey is trying to separate himself from his adult film persona and maintain a relationship as a person who works in that industry, which can be a turn off for some people. I loved when Bex stood up to Corey’s ex, it really solidified how much she cares about Corey. And, Corey supporting Bex and her work with the youth center was so incredibly sweet. Both characters showed the other through actions how much they cared for one another and supported each other a long the way. Which makes you just want to give these characters a big hug in the end.
This is an amazing debut novel from Jen Aisling and a must read! Thank you so much for the early copy! I can’t wait to see which one of Bex & Corey’s friends are next!
I loved Bex! This woman was a waitress at a casino and she didn't crap from anyone. She was good at standing up for herself and she as fiesty! She had insecurities about her weight and how she looked, but that's what makes her so relatable because don't we all? Her girl gang was also awesome, everyone needs friends like Ally and Britney!
Corey. This man. A porn star who hadn't had a serious relationship since his ex dumped him through text. He saw Bex and persued her hard through the book. He made sure he knew how beautiful and sex she was especially when she was insecure about her body especially compared to him and the people in his industry. He aways fought for her.
I really loved this book. I wish we could have gotten more. There was some stuff that happened that I wish could have been played out more, but it was fun getting to see both Bex and Corey's growth through the book. Then to see their relationship blossom was fun and it seemed like it could happen in real life.
Neon Nights was a spicy sweet story that was fun from start to finish.
Received this as an a r c and I enjoyed every second of this book.
The characters were relatable and lovable. The MMC being an adult film star brought a different energy to the story, setting it apart from other romance novels, and the FMC being a curvy girl definitely made me feel seen.
It's so well written, if I didn't know I'd have never guessed this was a debut novel. The plot moved smoothly never lagging or getting convoluted and the dialouge always felt so natural. I didn't want to put it down once I started reading.
If a spicy romcom sounds like your thing, you will not go wrong reading Neon Nights!
I cannot believe this is a debut novel! I read this book in less than 24 hours. Absolutely slayed!!
Jen did an amazing job capturing the inner thoughts of a curvy FMC who doesn't believe she's enough for the 🌽star she meets while working at the casino. I love how our FMC, Bex, evolves over the course of the novel and accepts how amazing she is.
Our hot MMC, Corey "the Brad Pitt of 🌽, " is ever the gentleman. Saving her from a world class sleaze. Encouraging her. Complimenting her. Identifying when she's lost in her own thoughts and asking what's going on.
I also have already informed @authorjenaisling that I'm ready for story two because there is some side character shenanigans that I need to know about!
OH MY GOD! Bex is amazing and she is just a great MFC! Corey, he is GREAT… going from the beginning to the end of this story we just gather a lot of info about his life and to see what he went through is crazy..
I love that Bex is able to stand up for herself and Corey owns up to his Sh*t… Overall very good and sexy story♥️🔥
****ARC REVIEW **** I enjoyed the Vegas backdrop and sassy, smart MFC! Corey and Bex's chemistry was palpable and super HOT! They had great banter, and their getting together felt relatable! Great story and overall feel good book :)
I absolutely gobbled this story up once I really sat down and dug in! Jen coming in strong with her debut album!! The story and the spice was amazing and all the side characters and their stories starting to develop by the end, had me craving more from this universe. I’ll just sit back and patiently wait!!
This was a hard read, and not one I would have finished except for that it was to be discussed at book club. It just felt.. Cringe? This 'Brad Pitt looking' world famous multi millionaire is obsessed with a broke waitress who only wears leggings and hoodies and they only talk on the phone. I found the writing very unbelievable, the man was I think 45 years old or so yet said 'literally' so many times, in the way 20 year old girls say it. Half the time the writing didn't change as the chapters flicked from Corey to Bex. It was just impossible to believe these were the thoughts of a grown man and not a horny woman. Then the ending, where they magically get together and team up with half of the Las Vegas millionaires to save under privileged kids.. Was a bit cringe.

Neon Nights Sin City Romance By: Jen Aisling Narrated by: Amanda Willow, Sean Masters
Vegas Baby!! Jen Aisling welcomes you to “Sin City” with a sinfully fabulous romance novel that sweeps you off your feet, captivates your attention, and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, and I absolutely adored the two lead characters, Bex and Corey aka Frank Moro, and there are some great side/secondary characters, too. Bex is a server at a casino, and when a high roller gets handsy, a gentleman jumps to her rescue. Bex can see many recognize her rescuer, who introduces himself as Corey, while he is not familiar to her, he piqued her curiosity and interest enough to say yes when he asked to see her after her shift. The two hit is off, and Corey knew he had to come clean with his profession and why some referred to him as Frank. Corey is a big deal in the adult entertainment industry, and he found Bex to be a breath of fresh air, a true beauty, curvaceous and voluptuous. Watching these two get to know each other and see their relationship grow into something so much more was everything, and I was rooting for them the entire time. I loved all the layers of the story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, heartfelt emotions, and a slow-burn, but so worth the wait, steamy romance. The story flowed nicely, and the writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the complexity of the characters, their growth and development. Loved that she kept things real with the characters’ vulnerabilities and insecurities, too. Jen Aisling, thank you for this wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride, and it amazed me even more to learn this is your debut novel.
🎧📚🎧 Amanda Willow and Sean Masters are the perfect cast to bring the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. Willow was a natural in Bex’s role, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her wit, her fierceness to her vulnerabilities. Masters did the same as Corey, embodying the role completely while showcasing his personality, and was swoon-worthy in the role. Both were fantastic at performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. They set the ideal tone for the story, and their expressive performance conveyed all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. These two entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to, and their performance not only enthralls the listener but also enhances the already wonderful story to new heights.
Neon Nights by Jen Aisling is an easy 5-star read—lush, heartfelt, and unexpectedly tender, with enough Vegas glitz and emotional depth to keep you listening/turning pages long past bedtime. It’s a standout contemporary romance that blends body positivity, vulnerability, and high-heat chemistry into a story that feels both aspirational and deeply relatable.
Neon Nights shines because it takes a familiar Sin City setup and layers it with genuine emotional stakes and thoughtful character work. Bex, a curvy cocktail server just trying to make ends meet, collides with Corey, a famous adult film star, and their connection never feels like a gimmick—it feels earned. The book leans hard into themes of self-worth, shame, and visibility, using Bex’s body image struggles and Corey’s fraught relationship with his career to explore what it means to be truly seen and chosen. Their banter is sharp, the flirting delicious, and when the spice hits, it’s not just hot—it’s emotionally loaded, always grounded in consent and mutual care.
What really elevates this story is how assured the writing feels: the pacing never drags, the dialogue sounds like real people talking, and the Vegas backdrop adds a fun, slightly chaotic energy without overwhelming the intimacy of the romance. The side characters are vibrant without stealing focus, and several scenes—like Bex standing her ground at work or Corey showing up for her youth center photography project—land as memorable emotional beats rather than filler. The story celebrates a plus-size heroine without turning her into a trope, and it lets a much-maligned profession be explored with nuance and empathy instead of judgment.
For readers of contemporary romance who love cinnamon-roll heroes (this one happens to be a porn star), curvy heroines, and Vegas glamour with real feelings underneath, Neon Nights absolutely deserves a glowing 5 stars. Amanda Willow and Sean Masters do a wonderful job narrating Bex and Corey. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Narrated in duet by Sean Masters and Amanda Willow This is an insta-lust, insta-love story built around a bold premise: meet a porn star, navigate the reality behind dating someone working in adult entertainment, and fall in love. It’s a fun concept and definitely grabs your attention from the start.
Where it lost me was in the execution. I’m completely here for body inclusivity. But to me, inclusivity means not making weight the focal point. When it’s repeatedly highlighted, it starts to feel like the story is asking us to see it as an issue — rather than simply letting the character exist confidently in her body.
I also struggle when the main conflict is driven by miscommunication and withheld truths. So much of the tension here could have been resolved with one honest conversation, and that’s never my favourite trope.
I went in expecting a strong, confident FMC and wasn’t prepared for Bex. At her heart she’s self-conscious and often a bit of a doormat, which made it harder for me to fully connect with her journey.
What absolutely shines? Corey. And more specifically, Sean Masters as Corey. His voice is sex personified — smooth, commanding, effortless. He is the perfect match for a charming adult entertainer, and he completely steals the show.
Amanda Willow does a great job, but Sean Masters dominates this production.
And the production quality? Insanely good. The duet narration is seamless and immersive, making this an undeniably enjoyable listen even when the story choices weren’t for me.
Not the right trope mix for my taste, but I can absolutely see how readers who love self-conscious heroines, and emotional drama would devour this one.
Tropes: Celebrity MMC Plus-size FMC Opposites attract Instalust to love
Set against the dazzling neon lights of Las Vegas, this story follows Bex, a curvy cocktail server whose life changes when she catches the attention of Corey, a charismatic and mysterious adult film star. What begins as an unexpected spark soon grows into something deeper as they navigate attraction, vulnerability, and the pressures of their very different worlds.
Amanda Willow does a wonderful job bringing Bex to life, capturing both her vulnerability and her humor. Sean Masters delivers a confident and charismatic performance as Corey (Frank), giving the character warmth and depth beyond his public persona.
This was an incredible debut from Jen Aisling. As a plus-size woman, I really appreciated how authentically Bex’s insecurities were portrayed. Her feelings felt genuine and relatable without ever overshadowing her strength. The story itself was playful, steamy, and incredibly fun, balancing emotional moments with plenty of chemistry and banter. I’m definitely looking forward to reading and listening to more from this author.
A huge thank you to the Jen Aisling for this ALC! I truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to more of her work.
Bex is a cocktail server in Fabulous Las Vegas. Her normal life is quickly turned upside down when she meets a charming and handsome man in the high limit room. Corey garners quite a bit of attention but Bex doesn't recognize the obviously famous man. She soon discovers that he is a prolific adult entertainment star. The chemistry is electric from their initial meeting but can this unlikely pair overcome the challenges of their vastly different backgrounds over long distance?
What a great debut! This was a surprisingly cute romance with quite a heartfelt and emotional connection between the MCs - and of course loaded with plenty of spice. The playlist included was a great backdrop for this story. As a Vegas local, I really enjoyed the setting and premise. I'm looking forward to more stories in this universe. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a quick, spicy read - I literally finished it in one day.

Duet narration - Amanda Willow & Sean Masters Delicious narration. Sean and Amanda are so talented and they did a fabulous job with this story.
Corey (Frank) is an adult film star and a very sexy slightly older man that is a gentleman. He finds himself enamored with Bex the moment he meets her. Bex is a cocktail waitress and works with troubled youth during the day. She has a great heart, and is also curvier than her friends. She struggles slightly with body image. Corey makes her feel sexy.
These two have what I would call a whirlwind of a romance. A night of chatting leads to more in depth connection over the following weeks. Quickly becoming attached to each other. The writing is fun and easy to follow. The characters are lovable and relatable.
I really enjoyed this book. Its fun, flirty, and cute. Very easy to listen to.

THIS WAS A DEBUT NOVEL!?! Excuse me !?!?!?
My lord I gobbled this up so fast! This book was amazing ! Captivating, loved the unique story line, the SPICE AND TENSION!!
Let me tell you I was pulled in my the story line. I was EDGED, okay the whole time I’m clenching for my life and they still were barely touching hands at this point !!
I LOVED the writing ! The way the author had me on edge with just their words and begging for more , then we finally get more and I combusted !
The AUDIO!!
🎙️Amanda you talented queen ! Ugh knocked this role out of the park!
🎙️Sean! Never disappoints and this role 🤌🏽chefs kiss ! 💋
I immediately need the next books. Jen I’m not sure what I need to do to bribe you, but I’ll do it 😂
Congratulations Ms. Aisling you beautifully wrote an amazing well thought out romance novel that exceeded my expectations. Now who thought to write a romance about a famous MMC in the porn industry and a cocktail waitress that has a chance meeting and it would turn into such an epic romance. The side character development is just a chef’s kiss. You can see where this storyline can continue into standalone books within the Sin City Universe. Now I’m not going to stay they didn’t go through it because honey…they both went through it. Two different ways, but still, communication and honesty is key. Lie by omission is still a lie. I just want to know what happens next! So by all means, please consider me your newest fan. Take a chance and pick this up for a light surprising romance.
OH MY HEART!!!! So I kinda read this backwards, I Arc read Neon Seduction and then found out that actually book 1 was neon nights. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this book, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that the main female character is like me Thicker than a Snickers, finally a love romance book where you have a hot rich porn star that falls fast for a beautiful curvy Thick-A-Licious bu** lol. In the middle of the book, where I thought things were gonna go south, I started yelling at my Kindle at Corey/Frank. Like what an a** of an idiot, always be honest and up front with your feelings, truth over comes everything, yes I know this is a book but it's Definitely a 10 star read for me and sometimes the stories you read make you frustrated and you wanna scream. Fantastic writing, Jen, keep up the amazing work. I can't wait for your next read.
I ARC read the book -a while ago, and now the ALC for Neon Nights.
Really enjoyed how relatable Bex is. From her insecurities at times and confidence at others as we all do in life. If you’ve spent any time in Vegas, this book really captures the scene. And who wouldn’t want to be swept off their feet by Corey! Even Corey showed his insecurity at how to talk to Bex, and while he lied and withheld information, he was coming from a place of scarcity and past trauma, never feeling fully loved until now. Even as a fictional story, it held a lot of true feelings that take place outside of the pages of a book.
Jen, the edging! I love a good spicy slow burn. Well done!
Amanda Willow and Sean Masters are Bex and Corey! Amanda has the fun, girl next door vibes hands down. Sean comes in hot with that gravel! I felt the chemistry between them.
Wow! This one was hard to put down. A curvy FMC and a MMC adult film actor. The tropes had me running as soon as I heard about them. 🔥curvy FMC 🔥adult film actor MMC 🔥age gap(10+ years) 🔥he falls first and hard 🔥Vegas
I fell in love with Corey and Bex from the start. Bex is a cocktail waitress and meets Corey when a customer gets a little handsy. Corey comes to her rescue and he would love to get to know her better.
As a plus size woman myself, I love when plus size is really represented. Jen does that! As far as a MMC being an adult film actor, this was a first for me. It’s not something seen in a romance book. This book is more than just spice, there is plot too and it’s amazing. A fantastic debut. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Just finished reading Neon Nights, and I totally loved it. The main characters were likable and relatable ... loved, loved the scene where Bex tells Corey she's working and just can't take off because he's there. Despite his connections and level of fame, she owns up to her responsibilities as a cocktail server (a job she doesn't hate but doesn't love either).
Vegas was the perfect setting for the story because it's not hard to imagine the level of craziness the city sees. If the hints throughout the book are any indication, I hope to see more of Bex and Corey in future books as the author laid the story foundations for Bex and Corey's friends.
*ALC review* Wow! This was my 1st story by Jen Aisling, and I was sucked in immediately from the start! I've read my share of curvy/plus size FMC stories, but I loved that this one didn't put a lot of focus on her weight or play the comparison game with other women in the story based on her size. I also loved the dynamic between the FMC and MMC, and the chemistry between them was hot! These characters dug a place in my heart and did not want to let go! Sean Masters is constantly proving why he is a top tier narrator in my book, and Amanda Willow was a new to me narrator that I enjoyed very much! Overall, this was a fun ride and I'll definitely be checking out more books in this series!
Neon Nights was HOT! The tension between Bex and Corey was amazing and Jen nailed it with this book.
Bex is a curvy, shy and a little sassy cocktail server. Corey is an older confident and sweet adult film entertainer. These two together have explosive chemistry and between the amount of "Good girl" and "Sir" in the book is phenomenal. This definitely has some Dom/ Sub vibes to it, but is perfect for Corey and Bex's character.
Jen did an incredible job for her first debut novel and I am so excited for more to come from this!!
This book is really good. I loved the characters and how Jen writes their love story. She had the perfect amount of spice and some good banter going on. The ending was so sweet. Girl meets pornstar... yes please!!! The spicy scenes were so good, and Corey is my new book boyfriend. I could really relate to Bex and love how Jen writes this curvaceous FMC. I cannot wait for more books from this author!
Neon Nights by Jen Aisling is Fantastic!! The FMC and MMC are so well developed and lovable, she’s a curvy good girl just working to survive and is very relatable, smokin' hot I mean I could keep going!! I quickly fell in love with the good hearted cocktail waitress and the well known swoon worthy porn star. Their story while unconventional is exciting and fun! The storyline was engaging and so intriguing, very well written. I couldn't put this gem down. I cannot wait for the next book.
