Wicked Deceptions: A novella
Courtnie Randolph is young, beautiful and established. She's college educated, owns her own business and home. On the surface, she seems to have it all together, but beneath, there are cracks in her foundation. Courtnie has what some would call "issues”. Her twisted sexual appetite knows no boundaries, and in her wake, she has left a trail of broken men. When Courtnie sets her ocean blue eyes on Adonis Edwards, she thinks she has found everything she has ever wanted in a man and is willing to do whatever it takes for them to be together. There's only one problem… his wife.
Adonis Edwards is handsome, hardworking and faithful. Until recently, he had been living the American dream. A wife, a home, and kids who adore him. He has devoted the past few years of his life to making sure his wife, Angela, has the best of everything and wants for nothing. Unfortunately, his best efforts never seem to be enough for Angela. This girl is definitely crazy. There were some twists and turns and some unpredicted happenings. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Hands down one of the best stories you will read in 2014. Johnna B got down with this book..I mean she got down!!! The best crossover novel for 2014...you don't have to be a specific race or gender to understand how GREAT this book is!
I don't know where Johnna found this crazy B, Courtnie, but I am glad she let that nut out to play! Because Courtnie takes you on the ride of your life in Wicked Deceptions.
What I liked about this book...I could not figure out what was going to happen next. The minute I thought I had the story figured out - the next minute the book took a turn and left me with my mouth hanging open. Like really? Really? I am talking from the first chapter to the very last sentence of the book, you will be like what institution did Johnna find this damn Courtnie in. I totally was not expecting Courtnie to be a crazy ass white girl. 'She flung her blonde hair over her right shoulder and showed off her smooth, tanned skin. Her ocean blue eyes stared deep into his eyes, making him feel naked. Adonis didn't really go for white girls, but she was fine. She had a body that could give most sisters a run for their money.' Expect the unexpected throughout the entire book...don't blink...don't breathe...don't go to the bathroom...don't do NOTHING!
Who I wanted to slap...Angela (Adonis' wife). First off she was just as crazy as Courtnie, just in a different way. How you constantly accusing your man of having another woman when you have no proof? She basically handed him over to Courtnie wrapped in a Xmas bow. She did so many dumb things in this book, I hated her more than Courtnie. First off you accuse your loving husband of cheating, then you leave him and take your children, then you befriend the woman that has been checking him out. I can't even tell you what else this dumb broad did...but bayyybeee when you read it I want you to leave me a comment. I was floored when that shit happened.
My favorite part...so Angela is living with her sister and trying to take her anger out on her sister. But bayyybeee that sister gets her right together and I was snapping my fingers and rolling my eyes...like what! LOL! "He's all yours, huh?" She chuckled. Let's see how long that holds true being that your simple ass has given him his freedom papers. As fine as Adonis is, some lonely bitch is gonna be on him like a dog on a bone. I hope whoever comes across the man you so carelessly abandoned sucks his dick so good that he forgets all about you. Then we can be lonely bitches together." Now that's how you put a bitch in her place.
But the sex scenes though...the sex scenes are HOTTTTT! This Courtnie may be crazy but she was putting it down in this book. Male, female, white, black...Courtnie did not discriminate. LOL! 'Courtnie hungrily unzipped his slacks and stuffed his cock in her mouth. When she took him into her throat, she heard Dr. Himfield moan. She did something with her tongue that should be outlawed in forty-nine states, and it nearly brought him to his knees.' But wait Courtnie is not finished!!! 'She couldn't believe the way Courtnie was making her body feel. Every time Courtnie's hands touched her, she felt tingles in that same spot.' I am telling you Courtnie was putting it down in this book!
I don't know what I was expecting from Johnna B, but Lawd knows this was more than I ever imagined. First off let me say this was my first time ever reading Johnna B, but afterwards I was trying to see what else I could 1-click from her. She is talented beyond words...I mean I was biting my nails, my leg was bouncing...just read the book you will see what I'm talking about.

Wicked Deceptions is a sexy yet suspenseful novella by JohnnaB. Readers are immediately introduced to main character Courtnie Randolph a beautiful woman who on the outside seems to have it all together.
Courtnie is anything but same but more so an emotionally unstable psycho who is fixated on handsome and married Adonis and when Courtnie wants something she gets it and Adonis is no different.
Wicked Deceptions will have readers engrossed because the story line is so crazy that you do not want to believe one person can be so sinister.
This novella was sexy story that heated up the pages but the drama and suspense was just as intense as the erotic sex scenes.
Fans of drama, erotica and suspense will without a doubt love JohnnaB's Wicked Deceptions this novella definitely kept my attention from beginning to end and I eagerly awaited what's next for this writer.

What a sick twisted bytch! I'm so mad at her crazy azz until I cannot think straight. Everything free ain't really free. That little romp in the hay could have an everlasting affect when you are dealing with someone who cannot tell reality from fiction. Twisted reality is what fueled Courtnie in her many sexual trysts, but the truth is she just wanted someone to look at her as someone they could really love however, she was willing to go through any means to get what she wanted if they did not reciprocate her feelings and that's the scary part. Her illness overtook any rationale reasoning so get with her and you will definitely be in for an experience that you will never forget. Very nice read, but prepare to want to kick that little heifers azz! Great job Johnna B

I can't write the review I'd like to because it would be full of spoilers. This author step out the box with this twisted story of love, hate, infidelity and the craziest bit.. I've ever read about. Lessons are taught and learned! Courtnie takes Adonis and Angela through more than any marriage is ready for. I found myself reading parts to my husband as a scared straight tactic lol. I'll say this, if my husband steps out on me I pray its not with a woman like Courtnie! 5 stars all day. Congratulations Johnna on penning one of the best stories I've read in a long time!

This book was really good. It was off the chain from start to finish. That damn girl Courtnie was one psychotic bitch. She was tormented at a young age and carried that all through out her life. I felt sorry for her understand the circumstances but enough is enough. Great book couldn't put it down definitely a page turner. I would have never known about this book if it wasn't for my friend Diane P. Rembert. Read this book this author is really good. I'm a fan for life. Now on to her next book.

I have one word...breathtaking! Johnna B you have a best seller and next classic tale on your hands! I was enthralled with this story from the very beginning! The characters are developed, the story line is amazing and it all in all is a reader's delight! The characters jumped from the pages engaging the readers and I became apart of it all. That dang Courtnie is a deranged bitch! I so look forward to your next book. Thank you for an amazing read.

What an awesome fast paced read!!! Courtnie was LOCO!!! She needed help in the worse way but didn't know how to accept the help. Everyone was a victim. The book will have you on edge and make you second the guess a person kindness or reason for their kindness. Johnna I will be reading whatever you put out you are an awesome author.

I dont want anybody to love me to death...
Brittany, Kirk, and the rest of the football team really did a number on Courtnie. I think she should have been finished with the evilness after she got her revenge on them. But, no...she just couldn't stop there. She really went overboard with the things she was doing. I must say I really enjoyed this book!

This was my 1st read by this author and I must say, she did the damn thing. This book had me on the edge of my seat riding the craziness until the very end. Courtnie was a lunatic at its best and that ending was breathtaking. This definately wont be my last read from this author.

Courtnie is the crazy, deranged owner of a coffee shop that has set her sights on someone else's husband. Her obsession is one for the record books, and one you will never forget.
