Return to Jesus…

Better than reading the thoughts of a single author, in this work we are able to hear several remarkable voices about the return of Jesus. Clearly presented and Scripturally supported , the revelation of the Revelations authoritatively capture the essence of the Second Advent of Christ. I find myself impressed informed and inspired. I will return to this one.

Great book! I loved that each chapter was written by a different person—the different writing styles and viewpoints were beneficial to understanding the subtopics centering around both the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ. The Book of Revelation no longer scares me; in fact, knowing I will have a front seat to the events is part of having “blessed hope.” I recommend this for anyone wanting to make sense of Revelations, our present age and the prophesies being fulfilled right before our eyes, and especially for those who are questioning their faith or who do not have faith in Jesus Christ. I read the book a chapter at a time to be able to sit a bit longer with the information before I moved on to the next author.

3.5 stars. This book, a collection of essays by a number of individuals knowledgeable of End Times theology, is written in a clear and understandable manner that would enable readers, even those with little previous knowledge of the subject, to understand. The brief biographies at the end of the book allows the reader to learn of other books by those writers so they may read more or if their essays did not resonate with the reader, to avoid their other published works. As I read, I did find that since it was a compilation there was quite of bit of duplication/overlap.

Understanding the Times ministry has been so informative and educational. This book is a compilation of some of the best authors. The chapter that I felt struck me the most was by Anne Graham Lotz. God Bless Jan Markell for putting this book together.

This is the first book I have read by Jan Markell. Her writing style is very engaging & supports her viewpoint with scripture. A good read on the subject of the rapture & tribulation.
