Fascinating Window Into the World of Bees

This is a fascinating book on all things bees and beekeeping. The author has a tremendous amount of respect for bees and brings that passion to this book. It covers it all…the types of bees, different roles within a hive, proper care of bees, equipment, responding to being stung, and harvesting honey among many other topics. It is loaded with interesting facts such as how honey has unique flavors based on the types of flowers visited. It also talks about why bees are in trouble. It discusses why beekeeping can be such a great hobby for young people. I’ve always been fascinated by this hobby…even if a little intimidated by bees…and enjoyed this one. The writing is easy to understand and the book is well organized. Well done.

Very informative

I know that this book is intended for kids, and they enjoyed it, but I certainly learned a heck of a lot too. Very interesting and fun to read. I can almost taste the honey already.

Interesting facts

Interesting book on beekeeping, especially for beginners of beekeeping. Nice pictures as well as interesting facts are also included. Interesting book.
