Good basics

Understanding Cat Language by Aude Yvanes has great line art and descriptions of cats with their body language explained in a paragraph for each illustration. Great for the beginner cat owner of older child.

This is quite a nice short little book on cat behaviour. Even though I don't have a cat it was nice to read. I picked up a couple of tips and definitely enjoyed the images.

'Understanding Cat Language' explains the world of cat communication through 50 detailed body language poses. This book is a good short read for helping newbie cat parents (or anyone who wants to deepen their bond with their cat) understand their cat's emotions and needs. And there are lovely cat illustrations, too.

Cats communicate with those around them every day. A look, a tap of the paw, a pose, a movement of the ears: their entire bodies express their emotions and feelings.

A simple book that covers the basics of your cat's mannerisms. Most of the information is self evident but there were a few facts I didn't know.

All in all, it's okay for an Amazon freebee but the spelling mistakes and adverts let it down a little.

There are all kinds of interesting facts and observations in this book. You can read this book and then set back and watch your cat and everything is true!! A few items I thought I'd share are.....Why a cat drinks from the tap. His bowl water is not fresh or he just wants to. A cat yawns when he's calm and relaxed. This is a good one. You will have to think twice about getting on to him, but of course you'll have to. If your cat urinates on your sofa he is stressed and feels the need to mark his territory. He's reassuring himself, by leaving his scent around the house. We all love our cats or, face it, we wouldn't have the finicky little creature we love dearly. This book will help the understanding flow between us just a little better.
I borrowed this book on a Kindle Unlimited website and so can you.

There is a little good information in this book; however, there are also many problems. The information presented is not always accurate or complete. There are many typos which distracted me while reading. And, what I consider a big problem, is how the author placed ads for other books within the main text this one.

Overall, this was a great short read. The only part that didn’t seem to have complete information was the faucet-part. Cats drink running water because they think that running water equals clean water. Other than that, I loved the pictures and learned some great things from this book.

Kitten

This tiny little kitten may it to our home in the country pour little thing he must have got lost. Reading this cute book was so neat as it described her behaviour. So it helps us now to know what she wants. I purchased this book on Amazon.

basic

I would recommend this book for people with no contact or understanding of cats at all. As an experienced cat owner, I found this book too basic. This would suit a novice owner.

Good for first time cat owners

This is a good book of info for first time cat parents. Refresher for those who already have a special fur baby. Illustrations were great

Crap

Simplistic common sense, nothing special unless you're a psychopath needing guidelines on basic animal behavior. Children's book. Don't bother tsk!
