It was a nice story, even without being very realistic.
But I truly hate cliffhangers and to cut a book into so many short stories is just mean.

There’s promise in this workplace enemies-to-lovers tale, but the setup feels a little rushed. Charlotte and Drew have great tension, especially during the pitch scenes and hotel aftermath, but the twist at the end overshadows the emotional beats. It’s hot, and Drew’s confidence dominates the page, yet I wanted more substance between the steamy encounters. Still, it’s an intriguing start with a dramatic punch that could lead to a twisty series arc.
