Very inspiring for the classroom teacher! Practical ideas which are easily incorporated into current best practices and daily routines. Charts can be modified for the smartboard and easily created in Prezi or Powerpoint (if wall space is limited).

Great resource for teachers to have when teaching literary standards. We all need visual aids and to have a jumping off point with our lessons and this book does a great job with that!

Having been out of the regular classroom for a while, this book helped me remember good "mini-lesson language" to use during reading instruction. I will share some of the author's chart examples when working with colleagues.
