Morgan Barker, the lead character of Non Friction and brilliant author of Our Story, has all but recovered from the heartache caused by Emma. But when his company's accounting firm sends a beautiful young woman named Hope to inquire about some suspicious account practices, Morgan finds himself lured back into the beautiful story that he created and wanted to forget about. Except this new story is different than Morgan's unpublished, never-seen-before version. Read deeper into Olivia and Oliver's ongoing and difficult love affair, their secret moments and the struggle that kept them apart for so long.
Morgan Parker is the pen name for a shy and introverted former banker. Given the nature of his former career and his unique childhood upbringing in a trendy, white-collar town West of Toronto, Mr. Parker made up plenty of stories to stay employed and to avoid the responsibilities of adulthood. His novels are a product of those stories.
Mr. Parker believes that all great novels involve realistic characters, motives and love stories. He tries (really hard) to emulate his favorite authors while writing his own novels. He stresses that all of his tales and characters are fictional in nature and welcomes all kinds of feedback, even the worst kind, so that he might continue to develop and grow as an author.
When Mr. Parker isn't writing, he likes to read and watch movies. As a serial napper, he has been known to convert corporate prayer rooms and quiet areas into common siesta zones. He believes in hibernation.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful… Bullshit. Love is selfish, love hurts, love is demanding, love wants to have its way without reason…
Every time I read the thoughtful words Morgan Parker puts to paper, I find myself battling with my idealistic and my realistic views on life, specifically love. This isn’t to say that I’m a cynic or don’t believe in fairy tales but his words truly bring some thoughtfulness and personal insight into the way I view the world around me. All that from a work of fiction—huh? Who knew? And for that reason, I absolutely love reading Morgan Parker’s stories. I am not a fan of novellas as there is too short a time frame to fit in all the emotions, all the actions, while trying to maintain the fluidity of the story without condensing some pivotal moments. In my opinion it is nearly impossible. That’s not to say that some don’t come close but I always feel a tad bit lost after reading one. Almost like I have to fill in the gaps or answer my own questions that otherwise would have been answered had it been a full-length novel. Novellas may very well have their place in a series as they give insight to a bigger story and obviously with the full length stories that go along with them, the full story is usually told. His stories though filled with humor that have you laughing (or in my case snorting) out loud, are filled with sincerity and honesty. His novella HOPE, is no different. In only 17,000 words he managed to pull me in and keep me there. Go figure and it’s a novella. A day later and thoughts of these characters still swirl around bugging me to think for a moment, “What if…” I will say when I got done reading HOPE—Oliver and Olivia’s story, I was ticked off with them. Many will read their story as a beautiful love story. Not me. It was a true love story. A true love story isn’t necessarily rainbows and unicorns. Things happen. Plans don’t happen as predicted. More than just emotions guide a true love story. Along with all the hearts and flowers, true love can get ugly, be sad, words and actions can defy love and contest love’s motives. Oliver and Olivia’s true love story did just that. Their story pulled me in many directions. Their love was empowering, it was doubtful. It was beautiful. Their story? Well I suppose you will have to read it to decide what you think. HOPE is a definite 5 star read for me but not because it made me feel all warm and fuzzy. It provided honesty, sincerity, thoughtfulness, and reflection. Morgan Parker has written a well developed ‘smart’, witty and beautiful story. D 5/5
Hope is a spin~off from Non~Friction, it gives us more insight into the lead character Morgan Barker, who at the time was going through a marriage break~up, published a novel and meets another author called Emma. We get to know more about his feelings towards Emma, how things worked out and where things are heading. Morgan is still an accountant and this is where he meets the very forthright and confident HOPE!
Hope comes across as a very determined strong woman, I took to her immediately. I’m really ‘hoping’ we get the chance to dig into the skeletons of her closet very soon. I’m certain it will be intriguing and eventful. Morgan P gives us a glimpse of this woman and I’m sure like myself you will form an opinion of her. At the moment I like her but in Morgan’s world that could change with the turn of a page.
In Non~Friction Morgan Barker writes a beautiful but sad love story called Our Story which is never published. We got a small peek at this heartbreaking and soul destroying romance. Hope the novella delivers more of it. Fans and friends of Morgan P have begged for more of Our Story so he finally decided to write more and dedicate it to them. He delivered it to us perfectly. It embeds into your soul and sits there, I could feel my soul pulsating when I got lost in the abyss. I got lost a lot and I sped through this novella like it held me glued to the pages. But the story of Oliver and Olivia is not the average romance. It’s forbidden and tempestuous, these two souls are entangled and they truly believe they are meant to live as one.
I lived and breathed every single moment. I felt the emotions of all the characters, even down to his favourite coffee shop barista and the way she poured his coffee and showed him a sign! Morgan P’s unique style of writing is rare. He does both POV’s that well you would never know he was male. He can make you smile and he can make you cry and it’s all executed marvellously.
Morgan Parker understands and relates to romantic fiction, and his underlying humour is a breath of fresh air. His novels are not OTT in mindless sex, yet he can definitely and confidently create a great sex scene. (I think he may have had help in this department).
The scenes are hot and sexy, but the love and bond they share for each other is quite sweet and adorable, therefore it’s realistic. I must say without a doubt he gave me that tingle in all the right places. He’s got a vivid imagination which shines through in all his stories. He’s passionate about his characters and his heart and soul is poured into his work.
To sum up. Morgan doesn't sugar coat life, he writes about the hard knocks and the way we deal with them, because life isn't just a playground, it's also a minefield. Hope will give you more from the world of Non~Friction, it will develop and help you understand the characters of Oliver and Olivia and it will guide you into his next novel 'Sick Day' where we will begin on Hope’s journey. For those of you who pick up this novella I highly recommend you pick up Non~Friction too.
Ooohhhhh I just finished Hope! I loved Oliver & Olivia's story, I was so teary reading it......it is very heartfelt. Very.....like a personal diary entry, their heart and soul going onto these pages.
Soul mates who can't be together, because they met at the wrong time ( ahhhh) kept apart by life and forced to grab moments when they can. A pure torturous nightmare, but one that both are willing to go through as what is the alternative? One weekend meeting, one text here and there, is surely better than a lifetime of nothing.
When they did meet up they were instantly pulled together like magnets. Years melted away like seconds.
Beautifully written, straight to the heart! With the beginning, the good old Morgan Barker, oh my goodness this should come with a warning! Do not under any circumstances read whilst drinking or eating! I was screaming right from the off with the things he comes out with!
I love Hope! Looking forward to more from her.....The sign of good things to come.
Morgan Parker has done it again. Left me completely speechless and crying. When I was first introduced to this amazing writer, it was when I read Non Friction, which has become one of my favorites. After reading it I was so in love with the thought of Olivia and Oliver’s story. So much that I never let down that Morgan should write it, yes I was relentless when it came to this beautiful tale. So when I got to read Hope and get more of their story it was everything I dreamed it would be. It’s perfection.
I enjoyed and loved this story so much I’ve read it three times, yes three. But it’s because it is so beautifully written and it gave me the one thing I wanted, Oliver and Olivia.
Olivia is such an amazing woman. I love that even though she knows deep down things aren’t going to be easy she still keeps fighting. My heart broke for her more than once in this story. To be in love with someone you can’t completely have is absolutely heart wrenching. I loved how strong, caring, and loving she was.
Oliver, o how I love Oliver. He is an amazing man, even though I wanted to smack him a few times for not seeing what he plainly had right in front of him. He was a great and caring man who will tug at your heart. You can’t help but want to make his world better.
Oliver and Olivia’s relationship isn’t ideal, but it’s one delightful relationship that you will enjoy reading. I loved reading their journey and getting to know more about each of them. The turmoil of not being together, the fight inside their head to do what was right instead of following their hearts. So yes this is an incredible story.
So if you love a passionate, loving and exquisite story that will stay with you for a long time, this is the book to read. It’s one of Morgan Parker’s masterpieces! I couldn’t have asked for a better story.
I love the unique way Morgan weaves his stories. They are not your typical romance stories either. They are filled with pain, struggles, challenging decisions, passion, and ultimately love. I feel as though they are based on real life events because they don't always have that HEA ending and feel like how true life happens.
This short story of Hope is a continuation of Morgan Barker's "Our Story" and we learn more about Oliver and Olivia's life and it ultimately shows us their sacrifices to be together. I don't want to give too much away, so you will have to pick this one up. I loved Hope's attitude in this story and can't wait to see more about her. If you like stories that leave you thinking, then I truly recommend this series. I am looking forward to reading more from the author in the future!
"You'll know this. Because once you're happy, I'll be happy. And you'll know because...because when you and your wife are walking away from your daughter's college dorm, holding hands and smiling about having your home and lives back to yourselves, you'll feel a breeze brush across your face. It'll taste like Spring, though, not Fall, and you'll know that I sent it."
Mr. Morgan Parker has captured me yet again with this novella Hope. He was such a unique way of writing a story that it really does bring you right along with the characters. Hope goes and finds Morgan Barker to ask about Our Story (Oliver and Olivia's) from the novel Non Friction, what she finds changes her views on love. Morgan P has you laugh, tear up, stomp your feet in frustration all throughout this novella. Oliver and Olivia really do believe that their love is it, it not the right times as They are both married to others ;but throughout the years of heartbreak of being apart they finally find their way back to each other. Morgan P really does put real life in his stories love isn't always easy but nothing good comes easy so you have to work hard for it and these characters have done just that. Hope I believe is quite the fire cracker her responses to Morgan B were witty and snarky and I for one can not wait to read more about her in future books. 5 stars Morgan can't wait for the next one
Hope shows from nowhere to remind Morgan Barker of what he had, what he lost, but most importantly of what he let go. She brings him back "Our Story," the story he wrote but never published while trying to reconcile with his ex-wife. The story of Olivia and Oliver give us a more intimate view into their lives. I like the fact that Morgan (the writer) keeps the two stories parallel (Morgan Barker/Emma ~~ Olivia/Oliver.) I love that their stories are far from a fairy tale and more real, because let's face it, life is ultimately a bitch showing us that love can cause pain and destroy a part of us. But if we're lucky, life through love, can put us back together. Morgan has a way with words. He will make you cry, he will make you laugh, and at times you can feel the sensuality of his words embracing you. This is an author that doesn't sugar coat his stories, and perhaps it's one of his greatest qualities as a writer, making you believe this is real life when in reality it's just a work of fiction. Hope, the character is a firecracker and I can't wait to hear more from her in future book (hopefully,) Hope the book is a beautiful tale of the resilience of love. I recommend that you read Non Friction before Hope to better understand the story. I leave you with two quotes, the first one is one of my favorite from the book, the second one is a beautiful quote from one of my favorite poems that to me describes what the love between Olivia and Oliver was all about...
"What's the greatest tragedy, Olivia? Living an entire life without ever tasting this kind of love, without even knowing it exists? Or taking a broken heart to your grave, knowing that, at the very least, you've had an opportunity to love someone wholly and completely? Hmm?" Oliver ~ "I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close." Pablo Neruda
I just want to say that I love Morgan Parker's books! They just keep getting better & better. This novella.. Goes into a little more detail into the lives of Oliver & Olivia. Their whole story. A little of Morgan's life after Emma & a new character Hope.
This story had me going...it's not your typical love story. It was kind of sad..frustrating.
In fact I was so frustrated with Oliver... He was so wishy washy with his feelings for Olivia.
The whole back & forth with Oliver was driving me crazy! The way that I see it... He's with his wife out of habit. He's been with her for so long that he doesn't want to rock the boat. & I think he uses the "kids" as an excuse for not leaving her. I'm sure they do play a part in him not leaving.. But...I think he just didn't want to start all over again... Taking the leap... It's a big step... Changing your life so late in life.. It's scary. & when he did finally leave his wife... The way he was crying... I don't know... Didn't sit well with me... I mean... Me being the other women waiting for my "married" man to come to me & when he finally does... Him crying like that.. Wouldn't make me feel good... I would want him to be sure of his decision. If he's that conflicted with his feelings... I would always feel like I forced him to make that decision. I would have that guilt.
Olivia... Oh boy... She gave up 2 great relationships for Oliver. Ultimately giving up everything in her life for him... Kids...marriage...having a life!
I felt they both chased each other. But I feel she made more of the effort. Whenever Oliver showed up.. She dropped everything. I hated that.
Well... We all know how their story ends... So at least she was happy at the end.
Hope... Hmmm... We really don't know a lot about her. Just that she shows up & shakes Morgan's world. Making him sad really!...lol Ughh...Emma!
As you can see.. I'm invested in Morgan Parker's books!! & I'm looking forward to the next book. I'm thinking maybe Hope's story or more on Morgan & Emma?? I Can't wait...
** received an ARC for an honest review** -Michelle
When I was gifted non friction a few months ago, I was surprised by how much I loved it. I was iffy at first about reading it because it was written by male author and I totally stereotyped him. Boy was I wrong! I was sucked in on page one and spit out in the acknowledgements. It was a roller coaster ride, but one that I'd happily ride over and over. Morgan's writing is like an addiction and it always feels real. Once you get a taste, you'll always want more. Hope is no different. The beginning and ending with Morgan were hard for me to swallow. I see Morgan as strong, funny, cocky and together. Seeing this side of him, the broken side of him, was painful for me. When we meet Hope, she's meeting Morgan for the first time, and its not long before she drops "the bomb" on him. Whatever was left of the witty and cocky facade is gone. In its place is a lost and lonely man. Hope... She came in balls to the walls. She wasn't playing any games, she came, she saw and she laid the smack down. Spitfire comes to mind when I think of Hope. She takes no BS and tells it like she sees it. No sugar coating it for her. Now for what we all begged and hoped for. Oliver and Olivia's "Our Story". Love, heartbreak and joy. You easily feel every ounce of every emotion that Morgan is trying to portray. You feel Oliver and Olivia's love, you share their heartbreak and your heart sings when you feel their joy. ( it did for me anyway) Morgan Parker has a way of writing that makes you feel them all. You will smile, laugh, definitely cry, hurt and you will love...you will fall in love with this novella and wish that it was longer. It felt so realistic to me. Almost as if Morgan Parker himself had lived it and was telling us his story, it's believable and real. For all of the people who wanted a HEA from Morgan, well, this is it. It was my HEA. For anyone who wanted more of "our story" this is it. Its beautiful from start to finish. 5 stars for Hope.
So I loved this book...a lot! Morgan Parker has a way of writing these wonderful stories and have you feeling for the characters. And that's exactly how I felt while reading. Experiencing what they were going through and loving Morgan's awesome writing. Hope isn interwoven story from Non-friction. In Non-friction, the main character Morgan Barker writes a story called "Our Story" about a couple named Oliver and Olivia. Hope is somewhat a more in-depth look into their story. Now if you haven't read Non-friction yet, you really need to as it will help you understand Hope but also because it's freaking fantastic. In Hope, Barker meets Hope, a woman who has a significance to his past. This encounter resurrects the story of Olivia and Oliver for Barker.
Now we get "Our Story" in the form of Hope. We learned about the tryst of Olivia and Oliver and how much they mean to each other. As I reading, I was feeling the emotions of the two main characters. I was frustrated, sad, happy, you name it. Whatever they were feeling, I felt it too. It was a true love story, one filled with passion and love as well as frustration and heartache. I was so engrossed in their story and needed to know how it will progress. They went through so much in this short novella and I just needed to know that it will turned out well. In the end, it kinda did. Parker left us with a satisfying ending but one that left me wanting more. So I can't wait for Sick Day.
Parker knows how to write a romantic story that keeps you engrossed and having you feel all types of emotions. He doesn't make it all fluffy but real. All the characters in this novella (Morgan, Hope, Olivia, and Oliver) are great. The writing is fantastic and I can't wait to read more from him. So if you haven't checked out his books, you should.
What does it say about a book when the reader is so chuck full of emotions that she has to physically take a break & just suck it all in?
What does it say about a book when the reader goes to bed after starting another book & watching some tv to dream about the characters of the book she finished earlier?
What does it say about an author that can pull that vast amount of emotions out of a person?
For me, it says this book & the author have provided me with the very best entertainment there is. My heart & soul were intertwined with the characters. Their tears were my tears. Their anger was my anger. Their joy was my joy.
HOPE is the love story of Oliver & Olivia which we saw glimpses of in Non-Friction. It fulfilled that emptiness that was felt from not knowing their story. It brought us a new character – Hope. Her name says it all because she in a short time frame gives our favorite character Morgan Barker that which he had been seeking – hope!
The characters: Oliver & Olivia – Two hearts destined to be together, but due to circumstances must place their love on hold to only be shared for brief moments whereby you the reader feel that you are part of those moments as far as feeling as though you are part of them, their love & their lives.
Hope – played such a small part in this book, but in the end it was a large part for the character of Morgan.
Morgan – may have finally seen the light. The poor man is still so messed up from the loss of Emma. His Book “Our Story” was the key to his hope for happiness.
In summary, Morgan Parker has done it again. Morgan’s writing style is like no other. He just keeps bringing it & to bring it in a short story is amazing. I look forward to reading his upcoming works – Sick Day & Textual Encounters 3.
This author has won me over with his writing. I have no doubts that he will continue to do so.
Wow! This was not what I was expecting but LOVED every minute of this short Novella. I have come to expect and appreciate Morgan Parker's dry humor, and love stories that do not work out for the characters. I was completely surprised that this was a beautiful story that even without his trademark humor had me hooked. Dare I say; HIS BEST WORK!
I am still in awe of the concept behind this series Non-Friction, Hope and Sick Day. Possibly the most ingenious story-line out there.
I always wondered what it would be like to read a romance story written by a man, well Parker showed me it's no different that reading something written by a woman.
In true Morgan Parker style he has given me just enough to make me want more, and the story ends. I am looking forward to more in Sick Day! And still waiting for TE3 Parker.
"What's the greater tragedy, Olivia? Living an entire life without ever tasting this kind of love, without even knowing it exists? Or taking a broken heart to your grave, knowing that, at the very least, you've had an opportunity to love someone wholly and completely?"
"you can't crave something you've never tasted, Oliver."
" I broke my wife's heart to save my own."
"Our Hearts belong together. And without your, mine will stop beating."
I took my time to read, then re-read this beautiful story before I could begin to write a review.
I first became acquainted with Mr. Parker's writing through non fric~tion. It took me a bit of time to get used to the tone and concept of his writing and I found that, given thought and a more open mind, I absolutely loved it!
I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting in Hope, but I found it, and I'm still carrying it around with me. Love and longing fill the pages and I could put myself in the story with Oliver and Oliva more than once.
This is such a touching story of love and filled with so much heart, how can I do anything but recommend it to anyone who loves a love story!
I became a fan of Morgan Parker's after reading "Non Friction" (which I loved!)
"Hope" was a very enjoyable read. But I'll admit it was an emotional one. These characters go through a lot. Morgan Parker's writing is very true-to-life, and he has the ability to make his readers feel like they are the characters (which, in my opinion is a good thing, and a huge accomplishment for an author).
I truly recommended this book. If you haven't read "Non Friction" yet, I'd suggest reading that first, then "Hope" right afterwards.
Well, that was unexpected. I've read somewhere that Morgan Parker's books get better and better and they do. HOPE was BEAUTIFUL. I cried and laughed (potty mouth). One hell of a love story. I'm not very good a writing long detailed reviews but I recommend you read this book after you've read Non-Friction (you will totally understand).
*****5-Heartbreaking-Stars***** ~this review contains minor spoilers~
“Sometimes, love brings us into the darkest corners of our lives. But we survive because love guides us through the fears and uncertainties. And other times, love brings us into the brightest sunshine, the most absolute happiness we will ever know.”
Ok, it's official-I am completely addicted to this Author. If you've already read non fric•tion (or even my review) then you will know who Oliver & Olivia are, this is their story 'Our Story'. Sweet, tragic, pure and cut way too short.
“Why did Olivia die? It was a touching scene at the hospital. Chapter 29, wasn't it? But it was a love story, and love stories don't end like that.” “How...? Do you...?” “Emma Payne. We went to high school together. I know everything Morgan.”
We actually start off checking in with Morgan when he meets a woman named Hope, an auditor checking on his firm. Hope knows all about 'Our Story' though it's never been published. Turns out, shes an old friend of dear Emma with a message for Morgan... Before I go any further, I have to get this off my chest. Hope's additude towards Morgan pissed me right the frigg off. She lays into him about Emma, like it's his fault they are not together right now. Emma is the one who is married and has told Morgan time and again she will not leave her husband. Short of showing up on her doorstep, throwing her over his shoulder and kidnapping her, what the hell is he supposed to do?! Ok. Rant over. Moving on... After Hope leaves Morgan with Emma's message, we dive into 'Our Story'.
“Whether we deserve this or not, whether this turns out to be the darkest day of our lives or the brightest happiness, we've been guided by love. How can we go wrong when we're guided by love, Olivia?”
The love story of Oliver & Olivia is as sad as it's beautiful. They meet and fall in love, but they are both married at the time. Through the years, distance and circumstance may separate them, but their love for each other never waivers. Olivia eventually leaves her husband, but Oliver refuses to leave his wife until both of his kids are eighteen and off to college, that was the plan. The real tragedy of the story is, after all the years of loneliness and heartache, when they finally have the chance to be together and enjoy the love they have shared for so long, their time is cut short by circumstances beyond their control. Your left thinking about all that wasted time and all the hearts that get broken along the way, its just sad. But I'm glad we got to spend a little bit more time with them, they pulled at my heart in non fric•tion and this just makes them a little bit more real to me. I'm glad this brilliant author (Ha! Like that?) decided to treat us with this beautiful treasure....and I'm gushing again.
She squeezed him so tightly that she feared she might suffocate him, but she didn't care. If he died in her arms, she would die right there along with him because this embrace confirmed for her that her sole purpose for being here-not “here” as in Chicago, but “here” as in this life-was Oliver.

Hope is a spin off from Non-Friction.Which I have not read yet. So I'm sorta lost in a sense.
Hope is about bring Morgan back to what he does best and thats writing. She knows who he is and surprises him with the acknowledge knowing who Emma is. Morgan has written a story call "Our Story" that ends with a sad outcome.Hope hands him a script that tells Emma's side of things and tells him to read it and that she will be back.
So the story goes along the lines of being trapped in a marriage that is no longer with love from aka "Oliver" his wife is a good person who does all things right raising the children, housekeeping, showing him support, understanding, ect ect. He cares for her and has respect for her.But is no longer in love with her.He by chance found his soulmate too late. "Oliver starts having a affair with her "Olivia" and they each give each other themselves .But they have to make a promise that tears at the souls. They go back to their normal lives in pain and have to make life work until the promises can be fulfilled.
I give this book 4 stars because I have not read Non-Friction to fully understand why this out come of the Hope was made. All I can say to this is Life Happens 1 Time and 1 Time Only There is no reason to be unhappy in your life.If you let life roll you ,you will lose every time. I should live by what I have just said but I won't do I have chosen this life and now I have to live with it. This is a emotional read and has touched me in a way I was not ready for. I look forward to reading more of Morgan's writing.
My name is Daina and I am a Morgan Parker addict!!! I read Non Friction by Morgan just last week and while discussing the book with him and a group of lovely ladies I was told I needed to follow up Non Friction with Hope and so I one clicked it. Let me tell you it was a great decision. I love Morgan's writing style and how he can use humor to bring forward real life feelings and emotions. He plants a seed in the back of your mind and slowly it comes to the front and you get these "ah ha" moments.
To me this book was about fighting for love! Oliver and Olivia are bound to be together but Oliver feels he owes his wife a few more years. I loved how these characters could feel each other's presence without seeing each other. Will true love win out? I don't support cheating, if you are unhappy then leave, but when you truly find your soul mate don't let them slip away or it just may be to late.
I loved the ending of this book, it sets you up perfectly for Morgan's next novel. I recommend reading Non Friction before reading Hope. This is a book you must read, so go one...what are you waiting for...one click it today!
Oliver and Olivia had a love that shouldn't have been. It was wrong. It was painful. It was the kind of love addicts’ call dangerous. But, it was theirs. It was their roller coaster to ride; their burden to bear…their ‘home’ and no amount of distance would ever change that. Neither would the pesky little fact of marriage stop the two of them from finding their ‘happy’ place.
Right or wrong; it is their “truth.”
Mr. Parker had all the elements of a good read. Wit, love, loss, lust, pain…you get the idea. Now go one-click.
Someone recommended Morgan's book to me i got the 1st one free & loved it & since then I have read all Morgan's book & enjoyed everyone of them I am up to date with All Morgan's books can't wait to textual encounter 3
I think I've found a wonderful author in Morgan Parker who has shown me that he has so much diversity in his writing, his first book I loved because of the witt of the characters, this time I love it for a whole different reason. Hope was romantic, passionate and emotional.
Hope brings it back to basics the beauty of falling in love and fighting for the one who makes you feel like time could stop and you wouldn't even notice. I felt a connection with this book and have held on to that connection. Hope is a story within a story, the journey of Oliver and Olivia who we were introduced to in Non-Friction, it really is a work of art!
