This book is a five book series:

4.Eldritch Beasts:The Howling Mountain
5.Eldritch Beasts: The Screaming Chaos
There is plenty of action, monsters, creatures, gore, and imaginative fantasy. If you like gore and various monsters, this is a book for you.
I liked the first two books a lot but I had to read a book between the last three books. The books all started to seem the same. It was better to space it out.

I got through 2 of the 5 books. First book was initially intriguing, then it was very slow build up of why there was demons/beasts were taking over the small town. The ending was a let down. As I listened to book 2, the story line was not much different from the first book, just a different town.
Maybe someday I will continue the series and listen to the other book remaining
