With two deliveries down and only one left to complete for the requirements of her inheritance, the murder of her father solved, and finally being settled into her new (old, very very old trailer) home, she is revved up and ready to go. That is, until her coworkers point out that her next delivery is to the state of Maine! A 2,000 mile drive one way and Maggie with only one outfit packed is a problem, but not nearly as big a problem as running into a fellow trucker with an illegal side business and desire to keep it a secret when Magpie Maggie accidentally stumbles upon it. Ride with Maggie and Skip (and lets not forget the adorable Desiree) to Maine as she strives to follow her conscience and the rules of the will and finds herself on thin ice.

You know what my summer needs? Fun, little adventures with Magpie Maggie. This is the third mystery featuring Maggie, and she's on her longest trip yet. This mystery is so much fun! I love when Maggie is on the road because you never know when she will stop for a side adventure, which she definitely does on this trip. If you are looking for a fun mystery on the shorter side, you can’t go wrong with this series. I’m hoping 🤞 there will be more Magpie Maggie adventures soon!
Maggie always cracks me up so much! Trudy created a thrift shopping fanatic when she introduced her bestie to the joys of thrifting. And it really came in handy for their spring run up to Maine where they got into some snow. There wasn’t a murder this time, but the mystery got solved fairly fast and led to an amazing ending. I thought I’d read that this was just a trilogy, so this book was an awesome ending for it.
