Quite an enjoyable read!

I'm not a huge fan of fantasy stories but I do really enjoy science fiction, so when Karen told me she'd written a book that incorporated both genres I was intruiged and had to give it a go. The storyline was good, and the characters more so. The struggle that Xentar had between his feelings for Cassie and the dichotomy of saving his entire race was palpable. A couple of twists right at the end - one good, one sad - rounded out the book very well. Plenty of action, a wee bit of romance, and well written dialog made this an unexpected treat. And it looks like there's a grand opportunity for a sequel, Karen? 😊
