Rascal

Rate this book
He’s given up finding his love. She’s always hoped for a hero. When their chemistry ignites will they give love a chance?

Thomas “Rascal” Carter is all about his brotherhood and family. As a veteran of the military, he’s helped to build a motorcycle club he can be proud of. And though settling down with a good woman was something he always wanted, he’s now content with his grandkids because what are the odds he’ll find the love of his life at his age?

Margaret Jamison has devoted her life to teaching the next generations about history and war. She’s the unmarried professor who is always asked to go above and beyond. When she’s unjustly fired from her job, she flees to Bluff Creek a day before her speech at the D-Day commemoration.

She pours her troubles out to the ruggedly handsome gray haired, tattooed man she meets in the park. When he invites her to lunch and into his life, she’s captivated. When trouble from her previous job threatens her, she along with her new found family work to unravel the mystery.

Will their love survive the storm swirling around her?

Rascal is the steamy fourth book in the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC romance series but can be read as a standalone. If you love later in life romance, former military romance, and plenty of action, you’ll adore Nat Logan’s love at any age tale.

I loved the way Rascal and Meg met in this story. Using the D-Day Commemorative as the back drop for the story was Brilliant in itself. Another factor that I liked was that it was an older couple that found love this time.
I would recommend this story or the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC to everyone.

Finding love at any age

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this love story of Rascal and Meg. They are proof that finding true love, your soul mate, can happen at any age. Meg comes to town to give a speech at a ceremony for the remembrance of D-day. She is a history professor and the book offers some interesting facts about that day when she gives her speech. Rascal meets up with her a day before the ceremony and is instantly attracted to her. Theirs is a story about family, both blood and found. There is some danger and threats against Meg that gets the club involved in protecting her. The characters of Rascal and Meg are fully fleshed out. It was great to read a story about mature love.

Oh my heart, the winner of the cutest couple goes to Meg and Rascal! Rascal figured he missed his chance at love. He's in his sixties, a grandfather, and he has never had a great love. Then he hears Meg's voice and he is smitten. Meg has gone through life without a partner, a man she could rely on and build a life with. Then she meets the handsome older biker and all she wants to do is get to know him. This was such a beautiful, sweet, heart-warming romance. It was everything I needed; just superb!

Rascal is one of the founders of the Bluff Creek Brotherhood. He is all in with his family, both blood and the MC family. Rascal is content in his life, which is full with his grandchildren, but he would love to have someone to come home to at night. As a veteran the 80th Anniversary of D-Day is very important to him. (As a little tidbit, the educator in me has such respect for the research that went into writing this book!) As Rascal is checking out the memorial that the MC worked to put together, he hears a voice and when he turns he is a goner! Meg is the one at the college that can always be depended on to cover for whatever anyone or do a favor for them. And this is all because she doesn't have a family and is older.

Of course a Bluff Creek brother can’t find love without a few twists and turns. This time Meg’s twists and turns have to deal with her previous job at the college. Will these two survive the test that is coming, read to find out.

Loved this book so much because love can be found at any age. And now that I’m getting to the age that would be considered “older”. Not that I like that, but it is good to see romances that show there is still a chance for a HEA!

You know the expression about good things coming to those who wait? It wasn't that Rascal and Meg had terrible lives; it was the loneliness. So planning a commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day seems like an unlikely way to meet that one person you've been waiting for -- but it could happen, right?

This is a beautifully written story of two people who find each other a bit later in life and how they navigate a path that leads to love. Oh! and that other expression about "just because theirs snow on the roof" applies here, too! It's a truly enjoyable book.

I think good things came not only to Rascal and Meg, but to me because I got to read this story I know I'll never forget. An easy 5-star read!

Absolutely beautiful

Another smash hit by Nat Logan. I absolutely adore Bluff Creek and Rascal is no different. I love later in life romances. It lets you know that love is possible at any agd. This might be a shorter read but it holds no less of a powerful punch. There was nothing lacking in this story. It was beautiful in its entirity. A depth that leaves your heart weeping and a maelstrom of emotions that literally knocked me on my backside.
Absolutely stunning read.
5 stars is nowhere near enough to fully portray just how compelling and addictive this story id

Novella length

This book is more a novella, but it's cute and in full harmony with the rest of the series. I love that it shows older characters getting their a chance. I advisable think it would have been fine without the school drama with the school president and her home, and it probably would have gotten a higher star rating. To me, this story was really about second chance love. But I did enjoy seeing the women rallying around Jesse. (I think Cannon will have to work really hard to make me like him at this point. )

I loved Rascal and Meg it has been a long time coming for Rascal to find his match.
This is a love story about two people finding each other later in life, about becoming a part of a family and finding the place you belong.
There is some issues that the club helps handle with Meg's old job and some little Easter eggs dropped that I can't wait to find out more about.
This is a must read you are going to love it

I can't find the words to express how much I loved Rascal & Meg's story! As a veteran, I have the utmost respect for the research that went into this story to give us all the details we needed! As an "older" reader I love that the main characters have been around the block I have absolutely loved the Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC since the 1st book (still drooling over War) but I don't know how Rascal's book can be topped!

Another hit

I have had a soft spot of Rascal since the start. He was always such a unique character and I always wanted him to find a good woman. I was thrilled when Meg was described. I felt like she was perfect. The twists and turns kept the book interesting and I loved learning more about the storyline and adjacent characters. I am so excited for all the things to come! My addiction to Bluff Creek isn’t going anywhere!

Rascal and Meg

Rascal and Meg's love story is like the comfy sweatpants of romance - it's a sweet later-in-life love fest that's warm, fuzzy, and utterly delightful. Meg's got some baggage from her old job, but Rascal and the gang swoop in to help, and, well, they finally find they were meant to be. I highly recommend this author and series - they're the perfect remedy for a bad day.

Rascal & Meg just fit. I love the instant connection they feel & the respect & love shown to Meg. This MC knows how to treat their women with integrity, respect & love. Having that someone to love & hold beyond 50s done with style & love. You will enjoy the coming together & the joint way of sloving problems together. Honest review.

This one is Rascal and Megs story and it is fantastic! I love the fact that this fast-paced, insta love story is a bit of an age gap, older couple story. It's also a beautiful tribute to what I personally consider the greatest generation to ever live, those who served in WW2. There's just enough chaos to keep it interesting and definitely not a lack of steam between this couple.

This a wonderful read that showcases all the excitement of new love regardless of where you are in your life’s journey. I appreciated the maturity of the characters and how a HEA can happen at any age. I think some storylines are richer for the life experiences brought to characters in new relationships. This book captured all of that and was a great read!

Another great read

Meg and Rascal never expected to find love late in life but they did. They say when you know, you know but when you are older its like you know and you don't want to miss out on anything. That is Rascal and Meg. Meg finds herself without a job as she comes to town to give a speech. She is so dumbfounded, its a little too unbelievable.

Loving this series.

I'm glad Rascal found his one. Meg is perfect for him. I really enjoyed reading about their journey. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Jesse and Cannon. Also, I am curious about the new deputy. He seems shady wondering what trouble he is going to stir up and who will be his victim.

Ahh this was extra sweet. Rascal is a good man, he does so much for everyone. I was so amused he got struck by instalove. Meg was such an innocent, but no fool and recognised her good fortune immediately. Loved it.

A great love story

Finding love later in life is a blessing. Rascal never thought he would. He was happy with his MC family and grandkids. But when he finds his ONE he vows to never let her go. Insta love and protectiveness with this couple.

Beautiful Love Story, with an Adventure

What a beautiful story of 2 older people finding true love, unexpectedly, and the danger her man and family helped her get through. Shows that it's never too late to find love and that family is so very important.

Loved Rascals story. Both he and Meg are older and things are different from what you could do young. What their bodies look like or whether he has to use heating pads, that's part of aging and so glad they found each other. HEA.

Rascal & Meg

I'm so happy the girls got involved and brought Meg into Rascals life. If anyone deserves some happiness and the love of a good women it's him. Meg fit in perfectly with the women of BCB MC and Frank's and Daughter's Bail Bonds.

Fun story with an older couple

Another hit for Nat. Really enjoyed this and hope I can find more. As an older reader who loves motorcycle romance, I get tired that most of the stories featuring older heroes involve younger women. It's a short read but a good one.

This is my first book by Nat Logan and won't be my last. Rascal and Meg meet during the 80th celebration of the D-Day commemoration. The blurb about the story and all of the beautiful reviews from other readers tell you how great the story is. I highly recommend it and will be starting to read the whole series. Thank you so much Ms. Logan!!!

Loved reading Rascal's story. This book was so good that it had me sucked in, and I couldn’t put it down until the very last page. Rascal & Meg’s story was action-packed; the chemistry between them was off the charts.
