So interesting to me as a cradle catholic. To understand what Scott went through to convert after being a theologian who had learned or had mis givings of our fatih. Good for people thinking about converting or fallen away catholics!

I award it four stars not for it's sophisticated literary style or higher level prose, but simply for its inspirational content. Scott Hahn takes the reader through his journey from holding staunch Christian fundamentalist anti-Catholic convictions to having a love for the Catholic Church as the Bride of Christ and embodiment of the faithful here on earth participating in the family covenant. As the story highlights Hahn's struggles in conversion, it also sheds light on the prejudice and shortsightedness present between Christian denominations in the United States today. The book is ultimately about a journey to truth and fulfillment that begs for unity and open heartedness in the modern church. I strongly recommend it to both Catholics and Protestants alike!

This book was an honest outpouring of learning and keeping one's faith. I found the book uplifting and full of what a marriage should consist of: Mutual respect between spouses, and out of this respect comes appreciation for each other's gifts and talents. All is based on giving our lives to God and living for Him by doing His will and working for salvation...everyone's final goal.
