Rules, principles, instructions. They let you know what you should and shouldn’t do. How to behave. I’ve always followed the path set out for me by my family. I’ve always stayed out of trouble and done as I’m told.
Until now. Now, I’m doing what I want. Who I want. And what I want is a man I shouldn’t have.
Being with Antonio Gambino is against every rule my family’s laid out for me. But I don’t want to be the good girl anymore. Unless the one calling me good girl is him.
Antonio
Pure fucking innocence. Matilda Valentino is the only thing I’ve ever wanted but have never gone after. She’s too good to be tainted by a man like me.
I’ve just taken over as the Don of the Gambino Crime Family. I don’t have time for complications, and getting involved with that little piece of temptation isn’t just a complication. It’ll be the start of a goddamn war.
Then again, if history’s taught us anything, isn’t it that all the greatest wars have been fought over the love of a woman?

“Matilda, you don’t need to worry. I don’t care what they have to say to me. I don’t care what they do either. The only thing I care about is you. Making sure you’re safe is my number one concern.”
»As much as I'm willing to go to war for you, bro. A war against the Vs is bad for our health. And we both know Romeo will want to fucking kill you if you touch his princess.«

❥ 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒂 To be honest she doesn’t really have a personality. I mean she is the daughter of Romeo and still so bland and boring.
❥ 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒐 He was okay I think? His character wasn‘t well build too, maybe according to the short length of this book.
✥ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 This was a quick and entertaining read. The writing style is good and I love the universe Kylie Kent has created. The plot was mostly the love story between Antonio and Tilly. It was an insta love with a secret relationship. I liked them together despite the fact that both characters were not well build and felt flat. Overall an okay read.
𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤? Yes, if you read other books from Kylie Kent following the Valentino’s. It‘s a nice addition to the universe.
𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 possessive and protective hero, romeo and juliet coded, secret relationship, mafia princess x mafia boss, rich x rich, age gap, instant attraction
𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 ages: Tilly is in college and Antonio in his late twenties/early thirties cheating: no sharing: no kinks: no
Ahh, Tilly Valentino you were the quiet, reserved, good girl of the Valentino heirs, but damn did you fall for the bad boy.
This is a very opposites attract, enemies to lovers, forbidden romance. Tilly wants the enemy and he wants her back. Antonio is the new leader of the Gambino family and he knows that no matter how much he wants Tilly there is no way he can have her. Tilly on the other hand wants to throw caution to the wind and finally get something she wants and what she wants is Antonio.
They have great chemistry and when there is no denying it they take the leap and throw caution to the wind. I loved the forbidden aspect of this romance and just how much they wanted each other. The fact that they were willing to risk it all to be together when their families will not be on board.
I want more of this series and the Valentinos. I don't ever want this to end. . . . Tilly is the good girl of the Valentinos. Unlike her brother and cousins, she stays on the up and up and avoids the family business. It's not that she doesn't understand her family business or support them, it's just not who she is. That doesn't stop her from wanting a man just like her family. 'I shouldn't be here, and I certainly shouldn't be here dressed like this. But I'm going with the it's now or never kind of mindset. I've been waiting years for Antonio Gambino to notice me.'
Antonio has recently taken over the Gambino family. He may be young but he's been raised to take over, it may be sooner than he planned but he'll do whatever it takes to keep his family strong. That includes staying away from Matilda Valentino no matter how long he's wanted her for. 'I don't need to talk about or remember how much sleep I lost because the woman I've been obsessing over for years was in the room right next to mine. So close and so fucking off limits.'
When Matilda shows up at his club on Halloween with her friends it's just the start of pushing Antonio to his breaking point. "I've wanted you for so damn long, ragazza. There isn't a question about that. But I need you to be sure."
Matilda's night doesn't go as planned and she doesn't get the guy, but Matilda is a Valentino and she's not willing to let it go.
Antonio can't fight Matilda's pull any longer and he will take what he's always wanted. Any threat that comes at her he will take care of, and he will do it with or without the Valentinos on his side. "I respect your father, Matilda. If he didn't want to kill me for all the very filthy things I plan on doing to you and with you, I'd lose all respect for him. So, no, I don't care if he wants to kill me." "Okay, but I would care if he actually did kill you. So try to dodge the bullets."
"Tilly" by Kylie Kent is a steamy and gripping romance that defies the boundaries set by family and society. The story revolves around Tilly Valentino and Antonio Gambino, whose forbidden attraction sparks a dangerous and passionate affair.
Tilly has always adhered to the strict rules set by her family. However, her encounter with Antonio ignites a desire to break free from these constraints. Kylie portrays Tilly as a complex character, transitioning from a dutiful, rule-abiding daughter to a woman determined to live on her own terms. Her internal struggle and eventual rebellion make her a relatable and engaging heroine.
Antonio Gambino, the newly crowned Don of the Gambino Crime Family, embodies the quintessential bad boy with a heart. His portrayal as a man torn between duty and desire adds depth to his character. Antonio's recognition of Tilly's innocence and his hesitation to involve her in his dangerous world highlight his protective nature, making their romance more compelling.
The chemistry between Tilly and Antonio is palpable from their first interaction. Kylie Kent masterfully builds their relationship, balancing intense attraction with genuine emotional connection. The forbidden nature of their love, set against the backdrop of crime and family loyalty, adds a layer of suspense and tension that keeps readers hooked.
Kylie Kent's writing is vivid and evocative, capturing the heat and intensity of Tilly and Antonio's relationship. The dialogue is sharp and realistic, reflecting their evolving dynamics. The pacing is well-maintained, with each chapter escalating the stakes and deepening the emotional resonance of their journey.
The novel also explores themes of independence, identity, and the conflict between personal desire and familial duty. Tilly's journey towards self-discovery and Antonio's struggle to reconcile his responsibilities with his feelings for Tilly provide a rich narrative that goes beyond mere romance.
In conclusion, "Tilly" by Kylie Kent is a thrilling and passionate romance that captivates from start to finish. With well-drawn characters, sizzling chemistry, and a plot filled with tension and emotion, this book is a standout in its genre. Fans of forbidden love and strong, dynamic characters will find much to enjoy in Tilly and Antonio's story.

This was one of the best Valentine novellas yet. The author had a lot of time to build Tilly's character in the previous Valentine kids stories, so I was excited to see how the good girl of the family would fall in love. I really loved that the author decided to swing big for Tilly, having her love interest be the boss of another crime family. As always, I do wish this could have been a full book rather than a novella, solely because I would have enjoyed more time with these characters, and particularly more time seeing her family's reaction to Antonio. I expected more fireworks and opposition from the Valentinos, but the length of the story just didn't allow for it. I hope that we get to revisit this couple in the future, possibly in one of the other kids stories, so we can see their marriage and future children.
Tilly is book 3 of the Valentino Heirs series. This book follows Tilly and Antonio's story. This was a super quick and fast paced read. Matilda Valentino is the daughter of Romeo & Livvy and is the older sister of Dante. She is a rule follower. Antonio Gambino is the Don of the Gambino Family. He works with the Valentino family. Both characters are attracted to each other although one tries to avoid the other. I devoured this book within two hours and I enjoyed reading every minute of it. Tilly was such a surprise for me as she seemed timid whenever she appeared in the other books. Emilio, Rafe and Enzo are funny. I hope Emilio and Rafe gets their own book.
Tilly has loved the older bad boy of the Gambino family for a while but has he loved her? Why yes! Of course he has. Someone he can’t have but our Tilly is done waiting for him.
“My father is going to want to kill you.” She smiles. “I know.” “And you don’t care?” “I respect your father, Matilda. If he didn’t want to kill me for all the very filthy things I plan on doing to you and with you, I’d lose all respect for him. So, no, I don’t care if he wants to kill me.” “Okay, but I would care if he actually did kill you. So try to dodge the bullets.”
Antonio & Tilly's story was short, sexy & fun to read. I can't get enough of the Valentinos. I would love a book about Tilly's brother Dante but a few years in his future considering he's only 16 now. In any case any one of the Valentinos heirs or heiress will be a good read. I would like to see who captures the heart of the female cousin who is the most dangerous whose father refuses to give her a gun but she has every other weapon at her disposal. Can't remember her name though but keep this series going.
Spice, family, love, captivating storyline and enough banter mixed in to keep everyone on their toes.
These Valentino novellas are just perfection in my humble opinion. Who doesn't love an update on their favourite family while also receiving a whole new story.
Tilly is probably the weirdest cousin yet however he story brings a new levelmof mafia dynamite to the fore. Keep these pages turning keep the world moving and enjoy another installment... My only regret is nothing about the book...its that adulting made this take longer to read then I wanted
A novella length read so it’s a quick easy read that’s mostly the good stuff I expect from a Valentino series read: mmc who falls completely and quickly for his woman, becoming the OTT possessive alpha from that moment on, the crazy overprotective and involved Valentino extended Valentino family, and a bit of mafia drama. Again- novella length, so it moves quickly and the action is minute. But it worked for a novella.
I needed a reset as I was feeling disappointed in many of the reads I have read lately, so this was just the quick treat I needed.
Tilly and Antonio were like all the other Valentino couples. Fast and furious with the feelings and possessiveness. Just like all the other books, the banter in this is absolutely fabulous. It's always good to see the old characters are parents. Hopefully we get more of the stories for these Valentino Heir's. Theo Valentino as a grandfather is everything. I was hoping for more of him in this book because Tilly is his favorite, according to the rest of the spawn.
I love all of the Valentino books and grab them as soon as they drop. Anything by Kylie is amazing and I have read all of her books! My dream is to have physical copies of them all one day. You fall in love with the Valentino’s and the extended families. The characters are so real and the way she writes them just brings them to life. You want to meet them in person and when the book is over you want more!
Book Review Tilly By Kylie Kent five Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Okay love how tilly is the good girl who never gets into trouble but gets arrested on Halloween outside of Antonio's club. Then Antonio saving her man the vibes you get from these two! I love that he calls her by her full name "Matilda" and Rafazza. Then him treating her so well during her first time. He is definitely amazing love how he is around her family and how he is with protecting her!
I would read as many Valentino books as Kylie Wright she is my autobio author. I absolutely loved it like I love all all the others. Tilly is the sweet caring one of the bunch and it was nice to see her come in to herself. Antonio was exactly what she needed strong alpha male to stand by her. Loved when he stood up to her family.
Another novella about the Valentino heirs tilly is the daughter of romeo the good girl of the Valentinos heirs and falls fir the don of another family which bring her on the radar of a bad guy Antonio is risking war going after a Valentino princess but will do everything to win another great book by kylie cant wait for the next one
Another short & sweet Valentino novella. I really enjoyed Tilly’s story just like I have the first two. I know it’s a Novella but boy does it have me craving more. Kylie gives us just enough of a story that’s going to keep you wanting coming back for more.
Highly recommend if you’re a fan of the Valentino books.
This was written in Valentino perfection. Tilly is the good girl ready to be bad for her bad boy only for him to want his baby girl in any way that fits her personality.
For a quick read (118 pages) this was perfect. Spice, drama, and Valentino's overprotective men it was perfection. My only complaint is I wish it were longer.
“Because I don’t want to have to cut the eyes out of all the men in this room, Matilda” Antonio
I loved seeing Tilly go from following the rules to going after what/who she wants! When they finally give in to their wants… hot damn Highly recommend for all Mafia lovers
Tilly is now a grown up woman will her love life run smooth
Tilly goes out on Halloween dressed as a she devil but her night doesn't go to plan when she gets arrested and the bad boy/man sets out to help her out will it be a smooth love for them both of will her dad stop them being together
These are short novella's that almost seem like they abruptly end. There are some cliffhanger like endings and that makes this reader a bit frustrated. I wanted a solid, concrete conclusion. The character's are the children of the main Valentino books and they are a fun extra, but of course it is never enough. Overall a good read, but where is the rest?!?
I love all the Valentino’s heirs, but Tilly is my favorite! Her mafia hero is an over the top alpha. This a great summer read with big family vibes! Highly recommend!
Antonio and Tilly are a great couple. She is a woman you knows who and want she wants. She does not back down from that man or the men of her family. great book. Always leaving me wanting more.
Tilly and Antonio are so cute together. I love their relationship. I wonder how far back they really wanted each other, it doesn’t specify. Great story, good read, keeps you on your toes.
I LOVE the Valentino Family. Every book is better than the last but still continues to build on their family bond that starts with Theo Sr. and his wife Holly. Any Kylie Kent book is worth the read, and I personally can't wait for the next one
I love reading about the valentinos and this generation of the family has a lot going on! There’s so many of them so hopefully we get a lot more books about them! I would have liked if this one was longer but the story was great.
I love anything Kylie Kent, but this short Novella was perfect. I hope it turns into a book or has some bonus chapters down the line. Her writing is style is easy, and sucks you in. Read all of her books you will not be disappointed!
