Recent Reads: Other Worlds - The Art Of Alex Ries. Alex's art has been an online favourite, so it was good to see a kickstarter collect their concept and personal art, including much of the Birrin project. Speculative biology is to the fore, merging Dixon and Barlowe into something new and unique.

Recent Reads: Other Worlds. Having read a PDF preview of Alex Ries' art book, I wasn't prepared for sheer physical size of this collection of illustration work. It's a massive and beautiful book, a fitting companion for the Ries' artistic journey and their commercial and personal work. Drink it in.
