They were truly the best of buddies-Phillipe Bardot, Jonathan Stone, James Brady, and Marie Arnett-and they tended to be together in everything, such as school, church, play activities, etc. never thinking about anything except the equality of their friendship. The four of them were inseparable since they were ten years old, and their best times were the hazy, lazy days of summer but then "the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray" Triple Score, a character study.

I am an author of gay romance. My first novel What We Deserve is now available from Loose Id.

I was born and raised in Alabama, and I grew up swearing I was going to get the hell out of Dodge the instant I could. Turns out Dodge ain’t so bad, and I never left. Alabama’s version of a city girl, I married a country boy, and we live in a small town with our two socially-awkward dogs.

I love to write about love, and it turns out most of the voices in my head are men. I also love to write about the South, so most of my stories end up there, one way or another. I believe the only thing Crash Davis left out of his speech was the happy ever after.

A tomboy and a geek from way back, I have a day job but dream I will one day write full time. I have a weakness for yaoi, Japanese stationery, YA, and ginger-haired soul singers from Britain. I own an impressive t-shirt collection. Nowaki & Hiroki are my homeboys.

Favorite books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Dune series (the ones written by Frank Herbert), The Year of Magical Thinking, Pride and Prejudice, Hunger Games series, Beautiful Creatures series, A Wrinkle in Time series, Across the Universe series, Drawn Together (Z. A. Maxfield), Breathe (Sloan Parker)

Favorite authors: Harper Lee, Madeleine L’Engle, Frank Herbert, Z. A. Maxfield, Sloan Parker, Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl, Beth Revis

Favorite Movies: Godfather and Godfather II (III was an abomination), L.A. Confidential, Princess Bride, Bull Durham, and Frailty
