Immerse yourself in a tale that weaves together threads of adventure and romance, in a young man’s arduous quest to protect a sacred scroll containing Saint Martin’s profound reflections on healing for both individuals and the world at large.
Fates intertwine when Magnus encounters Cynde, the spirited innkeeper’s daughter who joins him on the quest, her determination mirroring his own.
A malevolent bishop, fueled by an insatiable thirst for power leads a ruthless band of mercenaries. Relentlessly they pursue Magnus and Cynde across the ancient landscapes of Britain with one obsession, to destroy both of them, and the precious relic they guard.
Quest for the Scroll is an exciting and engaging adventure that kept me interested from beginning to end. The story is full of mystery, action, and surprising moments that make it hard to put the book down. I really enjoyed the way the author built the world and introduced the characters. Each part of the journey felt meaningful, and the plot developed in a way that kept me wanting to know what would happen next. This is a great book for readers who enjoy adventure, ancient secrets, and fast-paced storytelling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and thrilling read.
First off, I love novels with scripture, but from the start, this one felt pushy, as if the author (honestly wondering if this was AI written) had a big agenda. Then, characters are swearing at one another. My teens and I were listening to the audio book, and immediately shut it off. If your looking for a clean Christian read, this is not it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Spiritual Fantasy ⭐️ | Christian Fiction
Quest for the Scroll works far better as spiritual fantasy than as Christian fiction. The medieval setting and sense of mystical faith are engaging, but the theology leans Gnostic, with Scripture often applied out of context. Clean, atmospheric, and thoughtfully written—just not theologically sound. Read with genre clarity.
