This is book five of this interconnected standalone series. It’s told in dual first person POV and leaves you with a HEA. This story can be read in less than a day, but is enjoyable.

Cynthia and Roland are close friends and have been for years. I love that Roland told her about his feelings and didn’t let her push him away. I loved how protective he was over her as well.

The story was interesting to see how everything unfolded. The suspense and buildup to who the person that was stalking Cynthia was great too. I can’t wait to see what Theresa Moore brings next. I received an advanced readers copy. These thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cynthia and Roland have been the best of friends for a few years. That all changed when someone threatened Cynthia and set a fire to her apartment. After speaking to the Police, Roland took her back to his place. He proceeded to drive her to and from work just to keep her safe.
Roland bet her that the cop looking into the threats wanted to ask her out and if she lost she had to do whatever he asked. Knowing he was right would be his way of getting her to go on a date with him which he has wanted for a while now.
While out on the date Cynthia thought he was pranking her which he was not. Roland confessed his feelings for her and it scared her but she had feelings for him to but she didn't want to lose their friendship but Roland knew it would just be the beginning of a great relationship.
After being dropped off at school she was talking with a co worker and continued with her day but later when Roland was to pick her up, he was late so her co worker said he would take her home. She went with him but it turned out he was the one who was threatening her. Roland was following the car as he got there a few minutes late but as he followed the car he was shouting to Cynthia that he was going to help her which in turned gave her the courage she needed to fight back against her co worker. There was a accident and Cynthia was taken to the hospital, Roland never left her side. After being in the hospital for some times they went home and were able to start their relationship with out any more problems from her co worker.

I liked the short story 'Mr. Cowboy' by Theresa Moore. It's about a woman being harassed by a stalker and the cowboy that let her think of him as a friend stepping forward to protect her. He also decides to let her know he wants to be more than a friend and that he has felt that way for a while. Cynthia has always had a crush on Roland but thought that he wasn't interested in her, so she resigned herself to be just a very good friend of his. When an unknown stalker presents a danger to her, Roland has her stay at his place with him and he is happy to keep her by his side. So now he decides to let her know just how much he cares about her.

This story really turns up the heat! 🔥 Roland the cowboy is incredibly protective and swoon-worthy, and the chemistry with Cynthia is like a wildfire that just won't quit. 🌶️ Although it's a quick read, the stalker drama significantly ramps up the tension, making every moment more thrilling, and the steam levels are through the roof! I found myself cheering for them all the way through. If you're looking for a spicy romance that delivers both thrills and a satisfying happy ending, this one's a winner. 🤠💕 Definitely a guilty pleasure read for a lazy afternoon!.

OMG 😱 I absolutely loved this story. Theresa has outdone herself once again with another Fantastic book. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Cynthia and Roland chemistry was sensational but her life was threatening and she needs to feel safe once again. Will the police find out who did this to her .

Cynthia is a part time actor and her good friend and protector Roland works along side her on stage. But when things start happening due to a stalker Roland steps up even more to protect her. Cynthia thinks he is being a good friend but Roland has fallen for Cynthia over time and he is not letting anyone harm the person he loves.

Roland will stop at nothing to makes sure she is safe and eventually the truth comes out but will she return his love?

A great little novella where freindship turns to something deeper. Fighting to protect each other and get their HEA

This is a well written friends to lovers romance with strong characters in Cynthia and Roland. The author does a great job developing the story and takes you into their lives with intrigue and danger as they deal with her stalker. It's an intense story with descriptive scenes, moves quickly and smoothly and is a terrific short read.

I love the plot of this book. Roland and Cynthia have been friends for a long time. Of course, Roland is in love with her, and Cynthia is with him, too. The kicker is neither knows how the other feels. Cynthia also has a stalker who is becoming dangerous. This book has excellent chemistry and spice. I love Roland and Cynthia. They are lovely characters.

Short read. Actress and 5th grader teacher being stocked. Wild as it is, Roland has been friends with her and is now her protector. She has a stalker on her tail. Things are a little wonky but they will even out in the next read. Doesn’t read as a Standalone book but info from series. Action pack on different levels. Good read.

Cynthia and Roland are presented in the beginning of the story as good friends, but there are signs for both of them that there is potential for more intimacy if they give in to it. Their relationship is strong and spicy. The suspense and drama in the storyline adds an interesting element beyond their romance. I recommend this book.

Ride a Cowboy!!!!

I love the interconnectivity of the stories. The wrap-up of the series is perfect.

I will say that this author has a real knack for storytelling. Roland is the perfect boyfriend, and Cynthia is every woman after a shocked and horrible breakup.. even from a sister.

Looking forward to more books!!

Sean and Bonnie were in love in high school and then Bonnie left for Hollywood to become an actress and Sean stayed behind in Stone Ridge. Sean became the Cowboy on a reality show that is designed for him to meet his potential wife. Unbeknownst to him, Bonnie was hired to be on the show. Imagine his shock when he sees that she is one of his “choices”!
It was fun to read the snippets about their earlier relationship and it added context to the story. They had quite a ride before they got their HEA.
