Max has a learning disability. He has trouble adjusting in school, to friends and learning.
He is a very smart boy, but has difficulty with words. He can hear them, but sometimes has trouble understanding them.
Christopher Rawlins has written a wonderful book to help other children with learning disability. Writing from his personal experience in school, he shares the feelings and fears he experienced as he progressed through school with CAPD - Central Auditory Processing Disorder.
He went on to concentrate on his abilities, his passion for graphics and to develop his talent. He worked hard and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Maximize you Disabilities is an excellent resource for other children to read and use to share their feelings and maximize their abilities.
