Чотири історії про українських котиків, чиє життя змінилося після початку повномасштабної війни. Вони мусять пристосуватися до нових умов, знайти нові домівки, але також і допомагати своїм людям боротися з окупантами.

Спершу я подумала, що це чисто розвага для підняття духу для молодших школярів, мовляв, ті окупанти такі ідіоти, що з ними справляються навіть домашні тварини. Але дещо тут є і глибше, бо ці чотирилапі герої також вчаться нового, відкривають цінність дружби і змінюють свої погляди про те, що в житті є найважливішим. А мало хіба людей, у яких на тлі травм і втрат війни поламалася "мурчалка", як у кошеняти Перчика з другого оповідання?
