Born into violence. Ruthlessly brutal. Savagely alluring.
Maddoc, Dante, and Logan. The Reapers.
They’re the type of men mothers warn their daughters about, and the last thing I should be doing is marching into their territory and proposing a deal.
But I don’t have any other options.
My sister has been sold to the notorious West Point gang to cover a debt my father owes, and I’ll do anything to get her back... even if it means offering myself up to the Reapers, West Point’s enemies.
It should be simple. Live under their roof, under their control, until they find a way to free my sister.
But in this dangerous new world I find myself part of, nothing is ever simple. And with every rough touch, every searing look, something inside me starts to unravel. I start to crave their darkness instead of fearing it.
I’m playing with fire, dancing too close to the flames…
And when secrets and lies light the match, we’re all going to burn.

Callie Rose is a bestselling author who loves to write books that will grab you by the feels and not let go till the very last page. She loves twisty plots, tortured bad boys, strong FMCs, and redemption stories where that shit is *earned*.
Dante’s dirty talk alone is half of the reason this series gets 5 stars from me. 🥵🥵🥵 I enjoyed this story more than I thought I would. Riley is a stripper who draws the attention of a man (Dante) during a shift. They have sex then she goes home to her younger sister (Chloe). Her estranged father sells Chloe to the West Point Gang to pay off his debt to them. Riley, desperate to get her back, turns to the Reapers (rival gang to West Point) and begs them for help (also finding out that Dante is part of the reapers gang). Maddoc (the Reapers Leader) is intrigued by Riley and takes her home with him and his two seconds in command (Dante and another man named Logan). The three books follow them falling for Riley while they help locate her sister and hold back the West Point Gang. We see how committed the men are to each other, and watching them slowly let down their guards and bring Riley into their fray is amazing
Nicknames: Maddoc’s “Butterfly”, Dante’s “Princess”, and Logan’s “Wildcat” 😭
Like: All the men were different. They were the typical male leads: Maddoc (grumpy and closed-off leader), Dante (goofy and flirty), and Logan (uptight, doesn’t talk much, prone to violence, distrusts women). However, I really connected to them and their chemistry with Riley was undeniable. The constant banter between Dante and Riley from the first few chapters of book one were hot as hell to read. Riley slowly breaking down Logan’s walls and accepting him were so sweet. It made my heart warm when Chloe eventually helped Logan realize that Riley loved him.
Dislike: There was one scene in the first book where Riley finds Maddoc fucking a girl in his office (who he comes inside) while staring at Riley. She then runs to her room to masturbate. This is such a stupid and unnecessary scene just to throw OW drama in there for no reason.. however it happens before Maddoc and Riley get intimate so it doesn’t really bother me.
I also find it stupid that the reapers planned for Maddoc to marry Chloe for the inheritance. This pisses me off because Maddoc is constantly called such an amazing, loyal and fair leader yet he all of a sudden wants to force a woman to marry him and steal her money? It just seems random and out of character. My heart also breaks for Riley when she hears Maddoc and Dante talking about it. The marriage is only talked about briefly, and Chloe is more like a little sister to the men and not flirty at all so it doesn’t bother me too much. I just think it was unnecessary..
❤️❤️ - Mild OW drama - HEA (end of book 3) - MFMM

I had read Ruthless Games by Callie Rose awhile ago and loved it. When I saw that this series was also in an omnibus I snatched it up. I devoured this series in 3 days. I loved the FMC, Riley. She had so much fire in her and didn’t once back down or break. She was protective and strong. There was nothing not to like honestly.
Riley’s sister gets sold to the West Point gang by her father to settle his debts. Riley has no choice but to go to West Points biggest enemy, the Reapers, and ask for help in getting her back. But soon she ends up caught in a gang war bigger than she expected and falling for three men she never thought she would.
The Reapers 😍. I fell in instalove with Dante. He was this golden retriever, charming, laidback guy but he had that lethalness underneath that snuck out. When we got the background story for why Logan was so cold and why he was the way he was you really couldn’t help but fall in love with him. Maddoc, the leader, he’s everything you want in a gang leader. Every piece we saw of him and every thing he did for Riley really just solidified why why choose is a thing haha. It’s really hard to pick a favorite of these three.
The plot twists that happen all throughout this series had me anxious constantly. I never knew what was gonna happen, how were they going to fix things. It was great. I also really enjoyed how characters from the previous series were brought in and made it interconnected.
This series was action packed, SPICY, sweet, and just a really great read. I definitely would recommend it for anyone looking for a good Mafia series.
A trilogy of books (Pretty Dark Vows, Pretty Wicked Secrets and Pretty Vengeful Queen) in the Ruthless Hearts series.
Riley (FMC) is tough as nails and strong as hell throughout this series. Which she has had to be with everything going on around her. When events land her to seek the help of 3 dangerous men she's brought into a world that she's not prepared for. I loved the battle of wills Riley had with the guys. She certainly gave as good as she got. Riley was pretty much underestimated from the start of this series i thought but as the series progressed she began to show her strength. This series had me changing my mind throughout with everyone having their own agenda. Lots of twistedly dark content, violence and revenge in equal measure. That bonus content was a great addition to an already cracking finale. Loved It.
Spice 3.5/5 a lot of sex, filthy fun constant hole filling. No cheating. No mm the men are all for her. This is gang war, kidnapping, knife play, lots of rough sex and uh seed all over. Dante is the most consistent, falls first. Maddox has been burned Carrie's the weight of the Reapers on his shoulders but wants Riley, she's gotten to him. Our last mmc is the most untrusting, cold traumatized man but she finds her way into his darkness. Each man gives Riley exactly what she needs. I believe this was three books total, there is a three year later bonus that's perfect. This had me hooked, from her navigating her fears, trying to protect her sister to tge sadistic rival gang and her connection with all three men turning into something more for them all it was perfect.
Ok…. So I listened to this on Audible, maybe if I read it myself I’d feel differently. I loved Ruthless Games, the first set of books, but this was just hard to get through. And I’m largely putting it down to the female narrator. She just droned on and on and when she was reading the male characters it was so robotic it was difficult to focus and listen to. Having said that, for a story that was relatively lacking I don’t think it needed 3 books. I kept thinking get to the point already. My first DNF for the year. I had to jump to the epilogue just to think “The End” and be done with it just shy of the second book. Sorry :( I don’t like leaving negative feedback. I know a lot of work went into it. Just not for me.
Look, there’s one thing Callie Rose can do, and do well, and that’s write criminal underlords you’d never want to meet in real life, and somehow make them green flags. I don’t know how she does it, but she does it every time.
This entire trilogy was full of unrealistic situations and some tiny plot holes but I did not care 🗣️ one bit
I loved it. I had a great time. And having all three in one set?????!!!!! The ease!! The ability to just 👏🏼 keep 👏🏼 going 👏🏼
Incredible. Vibes were high. Impeccable. More from Callie please.
OMG if you love a good enemies to lovers story with a frickin badass FMC and not 1 not 2 but with 3 yes 3 badass sexy gangster MMCs and some hot ass spice that will definitely get you blushing but wait that's not all this has 2 offer there's also the touch her and die vibes and found family and oh soooo much gangster drama and kidnapping and it these characters just suck you in like you are a part of their world right there fighting and defending your territory right along side them so I STRONGLY recommend you read this series
The story dragged on and then the progress it did make was counterproductive. End of book 1 Riley takes an action and by like 5% into book 2 she’s agreed to help undo that action. Just really annoying for a reader. The spice scenes I got to were 5 stars though so if you’re just looking for a good spice read this could be it but you need to skip through all the filler.
Because it had everything I like in books: strong fmc, danger, dark themes, smut, and love; what else could you ask for? As the story develops, so do the characters and you really get to learn their back story and how they became what they are presently. I recommend this series/complete book to all.
I read the complete series and did enjoy the story most of the time! Books 1 & 2 really kept me intrigued. By book 3 I think I was just ready to finish the story. It took me three times as long to read the last book. But I'm glad I made it through.
Author does an amazing job of creating characters and a world that you can immediately fall in love with while adding in an incredible amount of spice in a way that sucks you right in.
