Betrayed by her family she is sold into the largest underground illegal pet trade to grace the world. Scared and alone she agrees to the Vampire prince's terms and becomes his pet. She had no idea what that really meant, until she's facing the consequences of her naivety, and the harsh reality of how powerless she is.
Ziyi is a vampire prince with an addiction to blood, surrounded by an aura of fear and power. He has been groomed his entire life into taking over his father's businesses; both the above ground legal side and the underground illegal trade. Where humans are treated cruelly and harshly, nothing but food and entertainment for the twisted individuals to grace the Sales. And he views the humans the same, insignificant, their lives worth nothing more than the money they can make him.
That is until he sees her, a human he can't keep his hands off. One he will kill to keep.
She’s clueless. He's delusional. Together they make red flags swoon.
**Author Notes**
Fair warning, some of these novellas will end (temporarily) on cliff hangers, and some will not. Those that do end on cliff hangers will have a part two and/or their story will mesh with another story.
Originally these stories in the Vampire Omegaverse Series were going to be standalones that were within the same world and had some vague connections. But as I began writing them their storylines refused to stay separate and kept jumping at each other for that connection. I was powerless to stop them, and now I have part twos popping up all over the place and storylines meshing together tighter than lovebirds on Valentine's day.
This series has become one family unit, and as one book is finished a new one begins.
They are only short novellas, so look at it as four stories makes one regular novel. I'll be creating some special edition paperbacks which will contain 4 or 6 of these novellas stacked together, so you can read them in one hit like a shot of dopamine.

Reading books with as many triggers and as dark as this one is quite new to me, however for how long the list of triggers was, it was nowhere near as heavy of a read as I expected! The storyline in Blood Fractured is definitely interesting and the universe it is set in is intriguing. I did pick up on a few errors (which I have emailed the author about!) but this did make the reading experience slightly less enjoyable.
In Blood Fractured the FMC lives in a world where she is a pet for vampires (as are all humans), and readers follow along as her original family sells her and she readjusts to a new life with a new owner. This is quite a quick read, although many of the concepts are dark and not what many readers may be used to, so I would definitely recommend checking the trigger list before jumping in. For me this was a 3.5/5 stars, I’m not overly invested in the storyline personally, however I was very intrigued by the new (to me) concepts and still may come back for the next books!

Blood fractured has an interesting world view, Eve though it is a trope that has already been done, this book places us in a unique universe of pets and masters. We find ourselves with an FMC that is raised as a pet and takes her masters word at face value. It’s rather unique as we always have FMC’s that rebel against their situation, I rather liked this version of obeisance. We have an MMC that isn’t toxic macho, even though he is the heir with character flaws, his character is brought across very well.
There was some moments that had me wondering “ why is this happening?” But I trusted the process and I’m waiting for the next book to see if it pays off 😊
It ends on a cliffhanger, something I hate to love, so I’m excited to see I the next book has answers to my questions 🫣

This book was short, but definitely not sweet.
The world the author built was very intriguing, a world where vampires have humans as pets.
We followed the FMC as she was sold by her original owners. She was raised as a pet, so does everything to keep her Master happy, but he can't keep himself away from her and is so confused as she is a human, but he can't help himself he is obsessed.
It was a very enjoyable read. It didn't take me long to get through it. It was nicely paced, and the writing was very easy to visualize.
I was left with a few questions that will hopefully get answered in Book 2.

This was an interesting read. The world in which this book takes place is unique and I liked it, I liked the fact that it was a new concept.
The story takes place in a world where vampires own humans as pets, literal pets, doctors for humans are even called vets.
I enjoyed this overall, the spice was great, the storyline was good, and it was a quick read, but I would very much like to see where E.P. Writer takes this story.

A thrilling and seductive read! Ziyi’s dangerous charm and the twisted, high-stakes world of the Sales kept me hooked, while the chaotic, red-flag-filled romance made it impossible to look away. Dark, intense, and utterly addictive!

This book was awesome! I really enjoyed it, I read it as a refresher while reading another book and it was just what I needed :) I can’t wait for the second book <3

I read this book in one sitting, it was so different and well done. i was super lucky to read an arc copy
