Sometimes, formidable challenges can seem impossible.
Sometimes, you can forget what you’ve done and what you’re capable of.
Sometimes, doubt can attack you like a virus and leave you questioning your worth.
Sometimes….
And then sometimes, when things seem like they can’t get any worse, you find yourself. You find the person, the friend, the sister, the warrior you know you can be.
Sometimes, when things seem their bleakest, you find strength you didn’t even know you possessed.
For Wren, Robyn and Mila, sometimes might just be today.
I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dogs.
I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released fifty one books across six different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Unsafe, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.
In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

I have been a fan of this series and its companion series "Safe Haven" since I read the first book. Oftentimes, a series drags on as more books are written. This is definitely not the case with EofE!
Wren, Robyn, Wolf and Mila, along with some newfound friends, are on their way back to the Priory after their previous adventures when Wren disappears! Of course, Robyn has to go after her and they soon discover that there are more survivors in the area. Knowing this group, you just know that they are going to try to rescue them. These girls have proven that they are selfless and don't seem to know the meaning of "It can't be done!"
There is plenty of zombie action, a few gruesome deaths and tons of emotion. I enjoyed the revisiting of things from the previous books and the glimpse into Robyn and Wren's past. The author also manages to bring some unique things into this book with the inclusion of a character suffering from Alzheimer's and her niece's struggle to keep her Auntie safe. It really makes you think about the challenges that would occur in a true apocalyptic event when dealing with someone with illness or disability.
Mr. Artinian brings the characters to life with their discussions of why they continue to put themselves in danger to help others. I also enjoyed the usual snark between the girls and the wimpiness/complaining of some of the rescued characters. I'm afraid that I would be among that group! We also learn some amazing coincidences about these new characters and I look forward to learning more about those connections!
The narrator, Kim Bretton, continues to amaze me with her performances. How she is able to keep so many different voices separated in such a way that you can picture them as you listen is beyond belief. Between the amazing story, great characters and wonderful narration, this continues to be one of my favorite series!
Audiobook: I enjoyed this story a lot. I have been a fan of this series since the first book, and this fourteenth book continued to amaze and fascinate me from the opening paragraphs until the end. I was so captivated by this tale that I listened to the whole audiobook in one sitting. I have loved the characters of Wren, Mila, and Robin from their first introduction through this latest book. I am looking forward to more stories that feature these three characters. I thought Kim Bretton's narration was riveting, and her performance kept me entertained and invested. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which included my honest opinions regarding this story.
The story continues for three heroines in this mile a minute continuation of the End of Everything story. The resourcefulness, determination and positivity they show may falter briefly, but their motto of ‘never give up’ keeps them moving forward with their goals. The writing style is gripping and disappointing at the same time. Why? Because it keeps me reading until 2am and I simply want more! I’m sure Christopher will oblige as quickly as he can between keeping his other series moving forward. Bravo Mr. Artinian. So glad you are doing this full time.
Chris is a fantastic writer with an imagination that helps to pull you into his stories and gets you to care for his characters. Even though there are some that you just want to stick into a biscuit tin and give them a good rattle until a full biscuit is formed. Mila (who is my absolute favourite), Wren, Bobby and Wolf, on their drive back to their family and friends, slam straight into another situation which seems hopeless,, but these girls never give up. They are determined to save more people who have been captured. Every time I read these books, I always want to start the series again, so that they never end.
Robyn, Wren and Mila (&Wolf) are always kicking zombie ass. They also have the biggest hearts out there. Absolute angels who are also smart asses and funny as hell. If there was a zombie apocalypse I’d 100% want them on my side. Things never stop because they don’t stop. They want things to just be ok and to kill Olsen and her army. Problem is now her army is growing. They get info that’s been kept from them and the threat is even greater than they could have imagined. Do yourself a favor and read this series and Safe Haven too! Even if zombies aren’t your thing these characters will be. They are amazing. Artinian is an epic writer. Kim Bretton is an amazing narrator. Love them both!
Artinian has written another character driven, emotionally charged tale that will you have you on the edge of your seat. Wren,Wolf, Robyn and Mila have found many survivors to bring back to safety but once again things don't go as planned and they all have to fight for their survival. They also learn that another new enemy is joining forces with Olsen. Can they make it back without losing people or running into more foes? looking forward to finding out in the next book in the series.
Another blockbuster of a book and real edge of your seat reading. Shows no signs of getting old or boring and in my humble opinion a superb series of books. So written and well thought out from beginning to end. Some dark humour and laugh out loud moments but also highlights humanities struggles in an apocalyptic event. Highly recommend this series and long may it continue! Thanks Chris 👍
Is waiting so long between books. I feel like I just get all caught up and it's over until next time. In any case...again the three amigas are outstanding. I love the characters and the uncertainty of what comes next. I recommend you read these books in the order the author suggests.
What can I say, another page turner. The End Of Everything 14 was gripping, so much happens in this book series, and book 14 was no different. I love that this series of books is all about the good in people; doing the right thing when surrounded by the most horrific of circumstances, including the hordes of zombies. I can't wait for book 15.
Another great book, with the storyline as strong as ever. Always with the threat of Olsen and her army retaliating, the girls continue to find and help other survivors and bring them back to the priory in the hope of building their own defences. Very action packed with comedic relief between Wren, Robyn and Mila. Another brilliant story Mr Artinian.
Another outstanding read. These girls are my heroes. The camaraderie between them is totally believable and hilarious. If there’s trouble to be found they will walk right into it weapons swinging. This series is one of my absolute favourites and look forward to all of this authors new releases. Definitely a must read series alongside safe haven.
As I noted previously the story line was not quite my cup but of tea. That said, the book was so well written I simply could not put it down. It was exciting, adventuresome and amusing, as well. And the relationship between the three girls was second to none. Bravo Mr. Artinian. This was quite a masterpiece. Thank you.
Well Mr Artinian never disappoints!!! Another brilliant addition to the series . More new characters some as annoying as hell others u love. I cant wait for the next one !!!
More of the same… except, the constant pause for dialogue after the exquisite build in urgency is extremely irritating. I can’t remember if previous books are like this since it took so very long for book 14 to be released.
Last two books have been offspring stories and not the main story. The three girls are ok as part of the main group but I don't want to read any of their separate journeys there is a whole set of books for that
Another wonderful episode in this series. So many obstacles these girls face. They fight so hard to make things safer for those around them. I can't wait to see what they get involved in next.
It amazes me how you keep this series feeling fresh, I love the characters you have created and also the world you placed them in along with safe haven I wonder if this series every ends. Let’s hope not. Thanks keep up the good work.
When Wren, Robin, Mila head on an expedition to Edinburgh. Oh Boy they are always finding Friends, Foe, and Rams . Will it be different this time, read on. Gripping read from start to finish, and you’re still left looking for more.
Wren, Mila, and Robyn always bring the excitement, and collecting family is a remarkable accomplishment! The Safe Haven crew needed more people, lodging, food, and equipment! They have brought it in spades! Cannot wait to see what is next! Loved this book!
Yet again another brilliantly written, edge of the seat, tense spine chilling book. There are lessons to be learnt here, when the chips are down and everything seems impossible, just think of what Wren & Robyn would do and say. Looking forward to more
Another step onward in this journey. The talent of these girls ( Wren,RobynNd Mila) just keeps growing as they keep encouraging others to also step beyond probability. Cannot say much in review or it will ruin the read! ThAnk you and now once more we wait!
So many books into the Safe Haven/EoE world, and still they are action packed, mile-a-minute, nail biting awesomeness! I really love how this instalment links into Mike’s prequel. Cannot wait for the next book to find out what happens next!
Chris never ceases to deliver dozens of books in and I still can’t get enough The character and world building is second to none with no signs of letting up Kim always knocks it out of the park with her narration Hands-down one of the best epic sagas out there highly recommended
I could not stop reading this book. Things kept happening and I was all in. I'm sad now because is this really the end? Here has to be more books or another series. Somrthing? I need more.
