Lots of Hot(wife)ness

This is my first time reading almost all these authors, and they didn't disappoint. The collection of short stories is really hot. It's the perfect bedtime reading! My favorite of the group is hard to pick. There are a few all-stars in the mix, but I'd read all these authors again.

Here are my individual reviews for each book. Happy reading! 📚💋

Yes Woman by Max Sebastian 🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Motivational Pledge
Katie's pledge to say yes to pretty much anything takes a fun and dirty turn. This is my first time reading anything from Max and I enjoyed it. While some of the fun is offscreen, Katie's husband reclaiming her and making future plans are hot.

I read this before bed and very pleasant dreams followed. 😏

Moving a Friend by Sean Geist 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Parting Gift
Greg and Ashley aren't perfect, but they seem to be on solid ground, which I like. I appreciate that they talked about what would happen, found a middle ground, and went from there.

I very much wanted this carnal energy to continue on our trip and planned to do everything in my power to make that happen.
-- Greg

The downside of it being from the male POV is not experiencing Ashley riding Trent multiple times. Of course, the trade off is the anticipation of her being reclaimed hard by Greg. That's always one of my favorite parts.

The Remake by Paul Garland 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Using the Original Cast
It's a slippery slope that Ethan and Isla traverse, but I'm here for it. So very here for it.

The floodgates of my emotions burst open—jealousy, excitement, fear, and an overwhelming sense of the unknown.
-- Ethan

I liked all of the naughtiness and fantasy sharing. I loved that they watched the replay together and reconnected. Hot!

A Taste of Something More by Lacey Cross 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Backside of the Barn
I'm very familiar with Lacey's work and loved the book referenced within this short, March Hotwife (prior reading not required, but it'll enhance the experience), as well as loved this followup.

“Behave, you little minx. I’ll share you when I’m good and ready.”
-- Lawrence

I love Heath and Mia's repeat performance. And Lawrence's promise for future naughtiness sent me outta the stratosphere! I will be needing the next installment in Lawrence and Mia's adventures pronto!

A Tale of Two Sixties by Delores Swallows 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Still Has a Pulse
The way this started was okay, but my interest waned a little. Then, with the flip of the page the story caught and held my attention. Gary and Anita have communication bumps to conquer, but I like the realistic emotions to the events.

If watching her masturbate had been hot, seeing her with Liam was volcanic.
-- Gary

I do like how they do have real conversations about what happened and what the future holds. It sounds like more steamy fun is on the horizon!

An Old Friend (with Benefits) by Kenny Wright 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Mix and Match
Jaime may be a wildcard, but the adventures she encourages are sexy and very naughty, not that Peter or Alexis are complaining.

“Hottest thing I’ve ever seen. Like, ever.”
-- Peter

I have to agree with Peter. The sharing and swapping and more done by Alexis and Jaime was hot AF! Every. Single. Combination! 🔥🔥🔥

Her Best Friend's Husband by Kirsten McCurran 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 -
Hot hotness! These firefighters have created a three-alarm situation with Serena in the middle of it all. 🔥🔥🔥

My husband doesn’t pause kissing my neck to answer. He nuzzles deeper into my thick, raven hair. He’s not going to rescue me. I can’t believe Rick is willing to share me. Where’s my all-American man?
-- Serena

I love that she ensures that her bestie, Dina, is on board with what's happening with her, Rick, and Boris. Dina wanting a turn of her own will keep my fantasies going for some time! Hot AF!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this collection.

3.5 really

Yes Woman- the premise was very unrealistic. Saying yes to everything is not possible at all and everyone knows it. She was very naive to the ramifications. So that kinda turned me off to the whole thing

Moving a Friend- interesting I’m really not sure I would pick such a good friend to have my spouse sleep with.

The remake-alright read. Again picking an ex just seems kinda crazy to a relationship.

A taste of something more- this is why I picked this book because it has one of my favorite authors in it. This was so hot and sexy. She always has her men such dirty talkers and it makes it so good.

A Tale of two sixties-this one made me angry. The wife didn’t want to have sex with her husband but when offered up the young guy from the hotel she up for it all night long.

An old friend with benefits-nope skipped this one

Her Best Friend’s Husband- this one was very hot. The husband was involved the whole time. The wife got the time of her life.

Overall I really only liked two of the stories. I love Lacey Cross and was very surprised by Kristen McCurran. Their two stores are the best and make the book worth it, you can skip the rest.

Husbands Win Out.

This is a nice collaboration from some experienced authors in the hotwife genre.

It's obvious to me that they agreed to take it easy on the husbands in these stories. Which is out of the norm for three or four of the authors. The couples seem to be committed and loyal to each other. There is no cuckolding and the angst is believably normal.

Below are my ranking of each story:

Yes Woman-4. A little far-fetched but well done.

Moving A Friend-4. Simple but a couple of hot scenes.

The Remake-4. Hotpast plot. Garland’s favorite theme to write.

Taste Of Something More-2. I found it boring. Seems like it was written in an hour or so.

A Tale-3. This author couldn't resist a bit of cuckolding and a conniving wife.

Old Friend-5. Kenny Wright is still the best. Well well-written and erotic.

Her Best Friend’s Husband-4. Some threesome action.

Being short stories don't expect character development or back story but they are all well-written. I loved that they colluded to go easy on the husbands. Therefore five stars for the whole book.

A collection of seven provocative stories that delve into the complexities of desire, trust, and the boundaries of modern relationships:

Yes Woman - Max Sebastian:
The life of a couple transformed by an unusual commitment when Katie adopts a "Just Say Yes" philosophy, agreeing to every request, no matter how outlandish. Her husband watches in a mix of curiosity, fear, and unexpected excitement as their lives fill with new cars, a lavish pool, and an unexpected kiss from a recently divorced friend, Robbie, that ultimately leads to even more. Katie's dedication to her pledge and the erotic tension it creates bring a thrilling element to her relationship with her husband.

Moving a Friend - Sean Geist:
As Greg and his wife, Ashley, help his best friend Trent move across the country, buried desires come to light. Greg's surprising reaction to an enthusiastic kiss between Ashley and Trent sparks a journey of erotic exploration and new dynamics within their relationship. The trip turns into a daring exploration when Ashley engages in a bold encounter with Trent, with Greg's blessing, revealing deep-seated desires as the they explore the newfound dynamics in their relationship.

The Remake - Paul Garland:
Isla and her husband Ethan's romantic getaway takes an unexpected turn when a chance encounter brings memories of Isla's ex, Alex, flooding back. What starts as a nostalgic conversation evolves into a daring exploration of their deepest fantasies. Ethan's curiosity and Isla's lingering attraction to Alex lead to an audacious proposal: reconnecting with Alex to create a new sex tape. As Isla dives into this thrilling adventure, the couple's bond is tested and strengthened in ways they never anticipated.

A Taste of Something More - Lacey Cross:
Mia and Lawrence's visit to a company dinner party at a scenic vineyard turns into a tantalizing adventure. As Mia navigates the party, her desire for Heath, her husband's boss who she recently slept with, reignites, leading to a secret tryst that leaves her exhilarated and eager for more. When Lawrence discovers what happened, his own passion flares, deepening his connection with his wife.

A Tale of Two Sixties - Delores Swallows:
Gary and Anita, a couple married for nearly four decades, confront the fading intimacy in their relationship. Determined to rekindle their passion, they decide to invite Liam, a coworker, into their bedroom. What follows is a night of intense emotions and erotic discovery, where Gary watches his wife with another man for the first time. As they navigate this new dynamic, Gary and Anita find their relationship transformed in ways they never expected.

An Old Friend (With Benefits) - Kenny Wright:
Peter and Alexis find their comfortable suburban life turned upside down when Jaime, Peter's former college fling, comes to visit. Old flames and buried desires resurface, leading to a wild night of confessions and revelations. When Jaime suggests a night out at a club, Alexis finds herself exploring boundaries she never imagined. As the night unfolds, Peter watches his wife embrace new experiences with Jaime and two younger men, reigniting their own passion and pushing their relationship into uncharted territory.

Her Best Friend’s Husband - Kirsten McCurran:
A quiet evening at home takes an unexpected turn when Serena and her husband Rick invite Boris, her best friend Dina's husband, over for dinner. Playful flirting escalates into a daring and provocative encounter that tests the boundaries of friendship and marriage. With Rick’s encouragement and Dina’s surprising approval via video call, Serena explores her deepest desires, leading to an intense night of passion and discovery.

Each story captures the excitement and challenges of exploring new desires, the strength of trust in relationships, and the exhilarating possibilities that come with pushing the limits of conventional love.

Seven Steamy Stories
In Yes Woman by Max Sebastian, Katie makes a pledge to say yes to any direct question for one year. So their friend Robbie asks for a kiss, things escalate. This short was steamy and sweet, and focused on the interactions between the main couple only, not between Robbie and Katie (the story is told from the husband’s point-of-view).
In Moving a Friend by Sean Geist, Greg and Ashley are helping their friend Trent move. On the road trip, Greg suggests Ashley “help” Trent on other ways. I enjoyed the insight into the psychology of sharing - Greg doesn’t know why he likes the angsty jealous lustful feelings associated with Ashley sleeping with Trent, he just does.
In The Remake by Paul Garland, Isla and Ethan thoroughly discuss Isla’s dating history, leading to a reconnection with an old ex and the remaking of an explicit tape. I like the insight into why they agreed to do it - the nervousness, the newness, the jittery excitement that brought an edge to their reaffirming interaction post-taping.
In A Taste of Something More by Lacey Cross Mia is back, with her husband Lawrence and his boss Heath. This one’s a double dose of hot and filthy!
In A Tale of Two Sixties by Delores Swallows, Gary and Anita are in their sixties, when they decide to spice things up with Liam. I loved how “still have a pulse” was mentioned a bunch - that made me smirk.
In An Old Friend (With Benefits) by Kenny Wright, Alexis and Peter have a kid-free house - except Peter’s ex-friends-with-benefits Jaime is coming to visit. But when talk turns to past exploits, the doors to a foursome are opened up. This one is allllllll sorts a taboo, and was delicious AF.
In Her Best Friend’s Husband by Kirsten McCurran, Rick and Serena have invited their long time friends and coworkers Boris and Dina over for food and games. But when Dina has to work, just Boris comes over and the games get decidedly more risqué, with Dina watching on the phone. This threesome was steamy hot, with more excitement to come!
It was interesting to me reading erotica stories from male authors and male point-of-view (I usually read stories by female authors), plus the two female authors were the only ones with female point-of-view.
A very steamy collection indeed!

Hotwifing can take many forms. It may include a Cuckold husband who revels in the way his guts twist and churn while he waits for his wife to return from her night with another man. Maybe hubby is a proud Stag that loves giving other men a small taste of what is his. (He might even watch as his ‘gift’ is enjoyed.) Or maybe husband loves his wife so much that he wants her to live her very best life—including as much pleasure as she can handle. This collection of stories gives you some of these hotwifing scenarios and more.

The writers included in this collection are arguably the best in the business. Each approaches hotwifing from their own angle and perspective. And each uses their talents to give the reader a taste of what hotwifing can be.

I have read each of these authors previously and am familiar with their writing. Picking favorites is difficult, but I can confidently say that this collection Kirsten McCurran has assembled is an excellent example of their storytelling skills and hotwife-writing prowess.

Highly recommended.

This was a very good anthology with some strong short stories. Anthologies can be hit and miss, some authors donate throw-away stories while others do little more than give a sample of a larger book. I rate five of the seven stories in this anthology as "great." The other two stories were good stories, but something about them didn't connect with me.

I found Sean Geist's "Moving a Friend" very hot. The road-trip story is about a married couple moving a long-time friend 1,300 miles away and it may be the best story, short or long, that I've read in 2024. If you enjoy couples discovering voyeurism and wife sharing, buy the collection for that story alone. But wait, there's more! You also get another six great stories from six talented authors.

The stories have a lot of voyeurism and minimal angst or cuckolding, so pretty optimal for me and an easy recommendation. I don't remember there being any sexual triggers to be wary of so only readers looking for harsher themes may be disappointed.

Thanks to Booksprout and Lacey Cross for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
This anthology is written by a group of experienced authors so each story is well-written. They are standalones (although Lacey's is a follow-up to an earlier short story, linking to her 'Calendar wives' series). They are, as promised, all hotwife-themed and include an emphasis on loving relationships and consensual decisions. Each story (and couple) are unique, and the short stories are full of excitement, thrills and delicious action. Even if there's one you don't like (I wasn't so keen on the last one) there's plenty of alternatives with the others in the book.
With it's emphasis on love, emotions and the power held by the wives I thought this book came across as specifically aimed at women, and it would be one I'd dip into again which is a mark of how good it is as there is so much erotica out there.

This is an anthology of seven erotic hotwife stories. Each story is written by a different author and features different characters, so you get plenty of variety here. It also provides a nice opportunity to discover new authors.

Each of these stories has a hotwife theme. The stories are well written and easy to read with fun casts. The plots tend to move quickly to setup the situation and then go straight to the steamy fun. And there was definitely both steamy and fun. Overall, a very enjoyable all of these stories and I found some new authors to explore. Definitely a fun anthology.

Highly recommended.

Best Not Wife Erotica Vol.1: Friends and Lovers

I so enjoyed this first column. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful erotica with us out here in the world. The book was very hot, sexy and educational, I wish my husband would read these books with me, or I had found this genre earlier in our lives, we've been married 50 years and we are still great but not like when we were younger.
Keep the sexy books coming, it seems that after Fifty Shades series came out sexier books all around started being released was well. Thank you...
