One of the most impactful books I’ve read in quite some time. I put it up there with “How Will You Measure Your Life?” by Clayton Christensen. My reasoning for this is because it’s not a typical self-help book that teaches you how to “change your mindset to achieve greatness”. Alex clearly discusses how to leave a lasting and meaningful impact on the people and causes that matter most to you with your time and wealth.
One of my favorite parts is one page 94 when he makes the point that the most important investment returns typically aren’t financial; they’re stronger relationships and helping propel others forward in life.
I’d recommend this book to anyone wondering how to make the most of what they’ve been blessed with in this life.
This book is a must read for anyone navigating hard earned prosperity, teaching children about financial responsibility or wondering how you will pass down your money. It’s a short, easy read with thought provoking ideas and leads into great discussions. I can’t wait to make plans with my husband about how we will use the lessons from this book.
It is so hard to talk about the challenges that come with financial success. Most people ignore or laugh at the entire concept. Alex takes the topic head-on and gives some pointed advice on how to handle the emotional roller coaster that comes with money. I loved it and highly recommend.
One of the best books I’ve read this year. If you want a book that will reframe your worldview in a way that benefits both your posterity and the world, give this a read.
