This book just dragged on and on so I skipped to the end. Author needs to learn how to edit.

These books by James Leonard are very different than most other books it helps to have a better understanding of early history and customs were. The good with the bad and the struggles. You don't want to put the book down

Heartless
The outlaws were heartless. Killing, stealing and doing what ever they wanted. Surry and Rosa were just caught up in it all. Story was good and showed how tough it was in the old west. Thank you for a good read.

Leonard is always a good read. His description of his characters is refreshing. Always look forward to anything new of his I can find.
