Sometimes I wonder what my husband thinks. Sweet romances like this just make me hold him closer.

The pain and love between Eloise and Maverick is palpable, it makes me even more grateful that I have my person and can hold him close. To see them come together, be honest with each other and reconnect was a true pleasure. I was in tears at one point.

Suze did such a wonderful job with this one, inside and out! The cover is just adorable and A Second Forever definitely has me convinced to pick up more of her books!

This is beautiful story focused on love and a second chance.

It is the type of story that clutches you at once and does not release you until you get to the end - then you find yourself pining over the fact that the book has ended.

I loved how the relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.

A great storyline that was well executed. This could have resulted in a grade B soap opera but the author's skill and strong editing made it an angsty but enjoyable read. There were really no bad guys, just people involved in complicated relationships. Decisions were made and some people were hurt.

I did rejoice in how the h and her father re-established their relationship and in that process, a lot of healing occurred.

Highly recommended.

Sweet second chance love

This was such a sweet second chance story with lots of emotions. The reasons behind their split was complicated and sad. Not only is this about second chance love but healing as well. I think each character in the book has something about themselves that needed to be healed and worked out. There is some language and intimate moments but very little. I enjoyed the time spent between after and daughter as much as anything. Good Book!

The one thing that kept me from giving this the full Monty was the lack of graphics in the bedroom. The author put together a good story with a lot of emotion and a plausible plot, but I didn't like the way the spice was glossed over. Some readers might prefer this and for them this will be a 5 star read.

Enjoyed this second chance romance with Maverick and Eloise in their small town in Montana. She left five years ago but comes back when her father gets seriously ill. Can he convince her that there is something here for her if she will stay or will she leave again?
