Honestly W T H!!! The first part had me tearing up, the middle had me wondering again if we'd get a romance between the MMCs, and then it ends on an illegal cliffhanger!! Illegal I tell you!

this volume has the perfect mix of emotional gut punch and fluffy ridiculousness. reiji and natsuki are an incredibly complex and interesting duo, and all of their scenes are so layered and fun to read. i love seeing someone putting reiji in his place and getting to use him the way he uses everyone else. sho and akira are so clearly in love it’s crazy, they’re kind of the itafushi to reiji and natuski’s satosugu. i’m so excited that volume 9 is finally out so i can see what happens next cause that cliffhanger has been haunting me for months

Amamiya jest popier…, ale lubi dzieci (???)

I jak ja mam teraz wytrzymać do kolejnego tomu?!

Sprawa z Chizu dała mi trochę po pysku. Dziewczyna może i dopiero co się pojawiła, ale samo to jak bardzo zmienił się przy niej Natsuki – jak z poważnego formalisty (który w ramach odmiany krzyczy na Amamiyę i rzuca w niego co ma pod ręką…) naprawdę się rozluźnił i zaczął się szczerze uśmiechać. Do tego to nie był pierwszy raz, gdy ktoś mu bliski został zakażony pasożytniczym obcym…
I tym razem to on jest tym, który pociąga za spust.
Relacja Natsukiego i Reiji’ego jest… trudna. Teraz przyszło się dowiedzieć dlaczego. Takie hate-love relationship, do tego z ogromną dawką wykorzystywania – od teraz nawet z obu stron. Ale obaj się na to godzą i cóż, nie ułatwiają sobie też sprawy. Toksyczne w ciul.

Dlatego jak to dobrze, że jest przeciwwaga w postaci Akiry i Sho! Czyli dla odmiany zgrany duet nowego pokolenia agentów. Zgrany i przeuroczy, niewinny i trochę naiwny w tej przyjaźni. Dlatego chyba będę siedzieć jak na szpilkach, aż nie pojawi się kolejny tom! Kto to widział kończyć w takim momencie, gdy Gunji’ego porwano!
A ten ciołek Sho nawet nie zauważył! Ale jak już się dowie, to tam chyba zrobi jesień średniowiecza… Nie chciałabym być w skórze tych, którzy staną mu na drodze w uratowaniu Akiry.

This one got to me a little emotionally. Can no one be happy? Also, Akira! T.T A cliffhanger! And the bonus story. Sometimes I don't know whether to hate or love Reiji and that makes me mad. Ah!

We are taken back to when Natsuki and Amamiya met for the first half. Then the second half takes us back to Akira & Sho, setting up for a black market arch.

I love the characters interactions and personalities, they all bring something to the table and keeps it interesting. Still enjoy the art too!
