To be honest, what attracted me to buy this book were title and cover. I’ve always wanted to deepen my knowledge in emotional intelligence (knowing that there’s lots of room for improvement on my side), but since I found it at urban outfitters I didn’t know what to expect. I was pleasantly suprised ☺️
This little book touches on every aspect concerning emotional intelligence briefly but clearly and sufficiently enough to understand it all. The quotes of varying important people invited me to dive deeper into their work as well (for example Maya Angelou, who’s being referenced a few times) The short paragraphs helped me to reflect and find the aspects I want to get a closer look at. It’s a great introduction to the topic, digestible and easy to read. A short but powerful read. I wish everyone took the time to have this read 🙏🏼
It took me a while to start, but then it went so fast. Readable, simple, so do not expect depth and uniqueness. Nevertheless, it looks good in my collection!
