Christmas is the most magical time of year, a time to celebrate and spend with the ones you love, or at least it is for most people. Sam Christmas doesn't believe in love or the magic of the holiday they unfortunately share a name with. All of it is a hoax, a money grab by big business everywhere.

Holley Daye not only believes in the spirit of Christmas but lives it every day. Owner of a small Christmas shop, she is surrounded by her favorite holiday year round. Her kind heart and giving spirit have her name written in permanent ink on the nice list.

Can a little push from fate and Holley's infectious spirit ignite the magic within Sam and get them to open their heart to the holiday and perhaps love?

Aiden Murray (he/him) is a genderqueer author writing books with LGBTQIA+ inclusion and non-binary protagonists. Knight of Elysia is his first novel. A barista by trade, Aiden has always had a passion for writing. A lover of fantasy stories and cute romance stories, Aiden struggled to find books with characters that represented him. Pulling from his love of fiction, role playing video games, and his own experiences, he began writing.

This actually surprised me!

I was enjoying the book altogether. Who doesn't like a love story? And then throw in the warm fuzzies because it's a Christmas story. But best of all, the ending surprised me ( and perfectly, I might add). I hardly ever am not able to say what's going to happen in movies or books, so I was very very happy that I was proven wrong.
My only problem is , now I want to know more about this story ❤️

Aiden Murray offers a unique perspective on the origins of Santa Claus. The story progressed beautifully, driven by lovable, well-crafted characters. The final pages delivered the perfect, cozy ending I was hoping for. Making the List is a heartwarming read that is perfect for the Christmas season.
