Diesen Band fand ich ehrlich gesagt hilarious. Mein Lieblingsdetektiv aus Osaka war zwar nicht mit von der Partie, dafür aber Shinichis Eltern. Die sind beide so drüber - kein Wunder, dass der Junge so ist wie er ist. Habe sehr viel gelacht bei der Lektüre.

On tovi vierähtänyt kun olen viimeksi lukenut Salapoliisi Conan seikkailuja. Onneksi tämä ei ollut jatkoa edellisestä, sillä en ehkä olisi muistanut, mihin jäätiin 😅

This book is really cool since it's in the genre of mystery. It's about a little boy named Conan trying to solve some really hard cases like suicides, purpose-killing and a lot of other cases. Will Conan solve all of these cases? Read this book to find out.

So langsam wird es eng für Conan. Ran scheint ihm auf den Fersen zu sein und durch ihre ständigen Beobachtungen wird der erste Fall etwas kompliziert zu lösen. Während er den scheinbaren Selbstmord eines Magiers aufklären muss, sitzt ihm Ran ständig im Nacken. Aber zum Glück holt ihn da seine Mutter Yukiko wieder raus, mit der er gleich in den nächsten Fall gerät, wo die Stiefmutter ihrer alten Schulfreundin Hiromi ermordet wird. Zudem scheint in dem Haushalt etwas so gar nicht zu stimmen. Und zuletzt treffen Ran und Sonoko auf ihre alte Lehrerin, die mit ihren Freunden einen Skiausflug macht. Natürlich nicht ohne Folgen....

Das ist der vierzehnte Band der Manga-Reihe "Detektiv Conan" und auch, wenn die Fälle in sich abgeschlossen sind, sollte man der Reihe nach lesen, da die Grundgeschichte immer wieder fortgesetzt wird. Es ist als Taschenbuch, sowie e-book erhältlich. Es kommen zwei abgeschlossene Fälle vor und der erste Teil eines weiteren.
Meine Meinung:
Das war ein toller Band, der mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Zwar mochte ich den ersten Fall nicht ganz so gerne, weil mir da etwas fehlte, aber die beiden darauffolgenden fand ich echt klasse. Ich kannte alle Fälle bereits als Anime, fand es aber dennoch spannend und interessant, mit Conan mitzurätseln, da ich auch nicht alles behalten habe. Es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht und vor allem die Episode mit seiner Mutter Yukiko war schon ein kleines Highlight.
Im ersten Fall wird Kogoro zu der Witwe eines bekannten Magiers gerufen, die nicht an den Selbstmord ihres Mannes glauben will. Als dann auch noch ihre Tochter verschwindet, wird es eng für Conan. Ran sitzt ihm im Nacken unf kommt der Enthüllung seines Geheimnisses gefährlich nahe. Mir gefiel dieser Fall sehr gut und es war interessant in die Welt der Zauberer und Entfesslungskünstler einzutauchen. Die Tragödie um einen ehemaligen Schützling von Motogasu war sehr emotional und es war verblüffend, wie Conan den Fall wieder einmal mit Bravour löste. Mein Highlight ist das Ende, wo ihn nur seine Mutter Yukiko retten konnte, mit der er auch dann in den nächsten Fall geriet.
Im zweiten Fall fährt Conan mit seiner Mutter zu ihrer alten Schulfreundin Hiromi, die das Verhalten ihres Onkels Yoshifusa verdächtig findet. Yukiko soll herausfinden, ob der Mann ein Hochstapler ist und am Ende gilt es, einen Mord zu lösen. Diese Episode war ein wenig anders und sorgte für etwas Abwechslung. Der mysteriöse Mann in der Scheune, die präparierte Armbrust und die Blüten in der Hand der Leiche machten diesen Fall recht spannend und ich liebte die "Streitgespräche" zwischen Conan und Yukiko. Mein Highlight ist und bleibt aber der trottelige Inspektor Yamamura, der Kogoros kleiner Bruder sein könnte. Der Typ ist einfach eine Marke und ich liebe es, wenn er auftaucht. Das Ende war überraschend und ich fand die Auflösung super.
Im letzten Fall, der geteilt wird, treffen Ran und Sonoko auf ihre alte Lehrerin Yonehara, die mit ihren Kollegen ein Ski-Wochenende in den Bergen verbringt. Sie lädt die beiden und Conan ein und nach und nach geschehen merkwürdige Dinge, bis zum Schluss einer ihrer Kollegen ermordet wird. Diesen Fall mochte ich sehr gerne und auch, wenn es anfangs sehr ruhig verläuft, wird es bis zum Cut sehr spannend. Die Dynanmik zwischen den Figuren fand ich super und die Andeutungen, die auch der ungebetene Gast von sich gibt, machen einen neugierig, was damals geschehen ist.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mir wieder sehr und ich hatte keine Probleme, dem Geschehen zu folgen. Toll war es, wie genau die Mimik der Charaktere dargestellt wurde und man immer ein gutes Gefühl für den Fall hatte.
Fazit:
Dieser Band gefiel mir auf kleinere Längen wirklich sehr gut und vor allem das Wiedersehen von dem trotteligen Inspektor und Schinischis Mutter war klasse. Es ist eine tolle Mischung und die Verbindung zwischen zwei Fällen wurde super eingefädelt. Für Conan wurde es an manchen Stellen etwas eng und pushte die Grundgeschichte ein wenig. Von mir gibt es:

Really a great volume! Excited to read the next one x3
Case 1: Thanks to Richard's ex-wife, a new case arrives at his door step. A new widow with doubts about the authenticity of her husband's apparent suicide. Richard isn't so sure, but Conan nudges things along, with help from Rachel, who has some suspicions of her own.
I liked that this case was handled a little differently. Most of the cases involve the police, going around with explanations, interrogations, etc. But this one was Conan and crew figuring everything out by themselves, and dealing with the police off screen at the end. (Also love how Rachel gets to show off her smarts more in this one.)
Case 2: Jimmy's mother comes just in time to get Conan out of a pickle, and invites him along a little outing to meet up with an old friend. But it's not just about catching up, the friend is suspicious her uncle is a fraud out to steal the family inheritance. Things get serious fast when one of the family members turns up dead.
I love how this case connects directly to the one before it, no gap of time in between. This was a really interesting and unique one, and it was nice to see Conan be able to be a little more Jimmy without fear of being discovered. Bonus points for his mom, she's a gem. xD
Case 3: Rachel, Conan, and Serena are visiting the slopes when they run into their elementary school teacher and her friends. Catching up and wanting to have some fun, Conan and crew join in their teacher's vacation to a private villa. Things are going great, until a creepy uninvited guest arrives, one of the teachers is missing, and Serena is attacked!
How these people can behave so calmly and just go back to normal after two people are attacked by an unknown person is beyond me LOL. I'd be so paranoid xD
Definitely a great set up to this case. I know it's cliche and over done, but the ones where they're isolated from help feels more exciting. (Which is weird because I hate horror lol.) But I appreciate that the cases are often broken up into different themes/cliches, so the series doesn't get too repetitive.
Also once again I must state the artwork in this is gorgeous. I love this series ;;
This volume ends with a cliffhanger, just a heads up.

INHALT: Im neuesten Fall werden Conan und die Moris zu einem bei sich zu Hause im Keller ermordeten Zauberer gerufen. Die kleine Tochter darf davon nichts erfahren und so stellt sich die Frage, ob einer der 3 Lehrlinge, die mit im Haus wohnen, etwas damit zu tun hat.
Danach reist Conan mit seiner Mutter zu einer alten Freundin ihrerseits. Ihr Vater ist gestorben und das Erbe soll nun gerecht aufgeteilt werden, doch ist Onkel Yoshifusa wirklich der, der er vorgibt zu sein oder ein Hochstapler?
Der letzte Fall findet in einem Wintersportort statt. Conan ist mit Ran und Sonoko beim Skifahren, dort treffen sie durch Zufall ihre alte Grundschullehrerein wieder und werden kurzerhand auf die Hütte eingeladen, die sie mit ein paar ihrer Kollegen gemietet hat. Doch schon bald werden die Lehrerin und Sonoko angegriffen.
MEINE MEINUNG: Der erste Fall mit dem Zauberer hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Es ging um verschiedene Tricks und schon als kleines Kind habe ich immer absolut mitgefiebert, um herauszufinden, wie ein Trick funktioniert.
Der Fall um Onkel Yoshifusa war ziemlich verzwickt und hatte am Ende noch einen kleinen Turn, wodurch er auch ziemlich spannend war.
Der 3. Fall ist mit diesem Band noch nicht beendet, bisher mag ich ihn aber auch ganz gerne. Geschichten, die an abgeschiedenen Orten spielen, gefallen mir generell gut.

This was one of the better books in a while. The "middle story" with Conan's mother along for the mystery was a good one. There were cool twists and a quite unexpected ending. I enjoyed it a lot. The final story has a good mystery brewing too, but it ends on that typical cliffhanger where the victim is just discovered. It's either that or the "reveal" cliffhanger. I suppose those are perfect spots to pause the story. I'm moving right on to book 15.
No movement on the "main story" except in an indirect way. I won't spoil it. As of this writing, I see that book 91 is just being released in Japan. I expect this "main story" will go on for a long time to come. As I'm reading this in the original language, I take a long time to read one book -- about two weeks. So with 77 books left I will need almost 3 years of reading to get caught up to today's latest volume. Wow!

Detective Conan kicks off this volume solving a murder that has to deal with magicians. All the while, Rachel is slowly starting to suspect that Conan is none other than Jimmy!!! The next case deals with the inheritance and those who are going to be at the reading of the will….if they are who they initially appear to be! It’s a fun case which I believe ranks as one of the best to date! Finally we have a case involves Rachel, Serena and Conan meeting up with the girls old teacher Ms. Yonehara. What occurs after this what starts as a twisted prank and ends with MURDER!!! Another volume where there is a cliff-hanger but understandably so since the prior two stories filled the majority of the book Great reading!

Yukiko Kudo datang ke Jepang dan mengajak Conan mendatangi rumah teman lamanya. Yukiko datang untuk mengkonfirmasi seorang pria yang mengaku sebagai pamannya yang hanya menginginkan warisan keluarga. Namun suasana berubah saat terjadi pembunuhan di sana.
Ran, Conan, dan Sonoko menginap di sebuah resort ski bersama geng guru SD mereka. Di sana terjadi pembunuhan beruntun yang mencurigakan karena alat pembunuhannya tidak ditemukan.

3.5! This book has one of the mysteries that's most puzzling to figure out and it's really really good but because this was a reread for me (and I've reread this at least 4x now), that unforgettable case was less shocking for me and I found myself rushing to finish the book to get to other cases that are less fresh in my mind to recapture that spirit of mystery.
If I'd never read it before, this book would be at least a 4 star.

It's kind of funny when Shinichi is solving cases around people who know about him being turned into a child. Imagine overhearing the conversation!
Another thing I keep noticing is that often when I case involves Ran and her friend Sonoko there's always some creepy adult men that hits on them. They're like 16-17 and the men are like mid twenties at best and 30 or a little over at worst. It's kind of gross.

Conan's parents make another appearance and save the day. And by day I mean helping Conan avoid certain death by Ran's killing moves.
Momma shows up to help Conan avoid the sharp intuition from a woman in love, in exchange he must spend a few days together for mom-son bonding and mystery solving. Basically families take the center piece this time.
I love how quirky Conan's parents are. A famous novelist and a world renowned actress? So extra. I love it to bits.

Oh, I was so hopeful and anxious about Ran finding out Conan's true identity! But I guess the ultimate revelation will happen much later.
Yukiko (Shinichi's mom) and Shinichi (as Conan) together were absolutely amazing! I loved their interactions. And the appearance of his dad was just the cherry on the cake!

The first story was boring and forgettable. The second one started off boring, but it got pretty interesting towards the end, and the twist was pretty good. The third one ended in a cliffhanger, but it's definitely the best story in this volume. I love it when there's Sonoko and Ran together. They're always so much fun to read.

loved the second mystery best even though it was unresolved in this volume. i just love when the setting of the murder mystery is a snowed in location where they are all stuck in the same place. this one had super cozy vibes and it just hit right. tempted to start the next volume but i need a breakkk.

Der letzte Fall (der im nächsten Band weitergeht) hat mich noch nicht so überzeugt, aber die anderen waren wieder mal spannend wie immer! Vielleicht liegts auch an den Charakteren, die im letzten Fall vorkommen.

I love the case that the Kudo family work on together, I dare say I miss the days when Gosho used to show us the sly sides of women in relation to the cases they work on... They used to be very different back then

I think "Interrogation Amidst Falling Leaves" had one of the most surprising endings I've read, causing my jaw to actually drop. Good collection!
