THE CURSED CHOCOLATE AND A DEADLY SNOWSTORM
Sonoko invites Ran, Conan, and Kogoro to a secluded house in the hills, rumored to bless chocolates with love’s fortune. Among the guests are two hunters seeking the legendary Japanese wolf, the elderly owner of the house, her two assistants, and a male photographer. As a snowstorm traps them inside, the photographer goes missing—only to be found dead by Conan and a dog named Saburo. A chilling clue emerges: the same chocolate made by one of the female assistants is left behind with the corpse. Did love turn into murder?
A WATCH THAT TICKS BEYOND DEATH
A man asks Kogoro to find his late wife’s wind-up watch, but Kogoro dismisses it as trivial. The Detective Boys and Professor Agasa take up the case, leading them to the man’s apartment. As they search, a woman arrives demanding repayment of a loan, then borrows an old film reel she has long sought. Eager to watch it, she plays it on the spot. But soon after, she is found dead, the tape rewound. Though the scene suggests a burglary gone wrong, Conan suspects a far more deliberate and sinister plot lurking beneath the surface.
