The first time I set foot in Fire Chief Declan Everhart’s small town he declared me trouble.
Maybe it’s because I’m a pop star hiding in his house for the holiday season. Or maybe it’s the way I can’t help but tease the grinch.
More than likely, though, it’s because his best friend Cade touched me right in front of him, lighting a fire so hot it threatens to incinerate us all.
Now I can’t keep my hands to myself.
Cade is famous for being the playboy assistant coach of the Boston Bolts, a man only out for a good time. But I know what we have is rare.
Cade wants me, Declan wants me, and Declan would be a bad liar if he didn’t admit that some part of him wants Cade too.
I've goneround and round about these feelings. Can we really just say the heart wants what it wants, or are we just asking for more trouble?
Author's Note: Trouble is a grumpy/sunshine holiday MMF romance.
We have Melina, who's ready for a fresh start after leaving her ex, so she heads to a small town to stay with none other than Fire Chief Declan. Oh, and did I mention his super hot best friend, Coach Cade Fitz, who's been quietly crushing on Declan since forever? Also he is the same Cade that sees Melina as the hottest girl he's met. Cade’s resigned himself to keeping his feelings towards Declan hidden… until Melina moves in with Declan and, the moment she starts to think about the possibility of sharing.. she's wants them BOTH 😉.
Okay, let me be completely honest—if you’re looking for slow-burn, heavy plot, or deep character development, this book is NOT it. But if you want a thrill ride that’ll leave you fanning yourself as the tension shatters and all you crave is their happy ever after? You’re in the right place.
Melina doesn’t want to choose; she wants them both, and she’s going for it!
And the SPICE?! I seriously didn’t expect it to be THIS GOOD. Every time I think, "nah is not gonna top this" *reads next chapter* welp!!! I’ll never look at streetlight colors the same way again btw. 🔥 The communication and consent were so well done, and I loved every second of it.

WHAT!!! I legit loved this. This was so freaking hot but also emotional, I finished it in one sitting! If you like Give Me More by Sara Cate - YOU WILL DEVOUR THIS!
I loved both Cade and Declan but omg Cade has a special place in my heart. That freaking man 😭😭😭
I need more from this series, I am hooked!
MMF Sports Forced Proximity Friends to Lovers Pop Star x Firefighter x Hockey Coach 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This was such a good book especially if you're looking for a Christmas, hockey romance book. 🙂
This is MMF, which follows Cade, Declan and Melina. Cade has a huge crush on his best friend Declan but he doesn't know how to approach him.
In comes Melina who's a popstar running away from her abusive agent/boyfriend. She's forced to live with Declan and when they meet for the first time sparks fly. 🤭
When Cade sees this he has hope that he'll somehow convince Declan to get into a relationship with them.
If you don't like insta love then this won't be for you. 🙂 I love how Cade and Melina made Declan understand the importance of proper communication in a relationship. 🫂🎀
This was so good I'll definitely be reading the next book in the series 😍✨
I’m not usually one for MMF but this was hot. (I mean I still had a clear favorite guy🤣)
It wouldn’t be a Brittanee Nicole book if we didn’t get some deep emotional issues and phew… these three.

The way this book 𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗!! You guys are not ready for the level of heat and love that Brittanée brought to the table with Melina, Cade and Declan’s story! 🔥🚒 This book has to be one of my favourite MMF romances because it not only brought some 𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗙 spice, but it also managed to create some deep emotional connection between all three characters in 350 pages (such a hard thing to do well!)
When pop star Melina is being stalked by her abusive ex, none other than Beckett Langfield arranges for her to stay with his brother in-law, Declan (the fire chief in the small town of Bristol). Her protection is now in his hands, as well as his best friend Cade (goalie coach for the Boston Bolts). But when they are forced to be so close, can they resist her and each other?
Trouble is a seriously spicy and beautiful story about two friends who have loved each other for years, but didn’t make sense until she came along. I absolutely LOVED the unrequited feelings that Cade and Declan had for each other and the insane chemistry & tension their dynamic created! It was hot, forbidden and the longing had my heart in vice for them. When beautiful, caring & uninhibited Melina comes into their lives, they both fall so hard for her and she is the key that eventually allows these two friends to explore their desires for one another.
The three of them belong together and their hard-fought journey to get there was HOTTER than Hades and sweet as can be! This is an absolutely 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 and an incredible second book in the Boston Bolts series! 👏🏻
🔥 Trouble by Brittanee Nicole is an MMF standalone book, coming October 18th, 2024! 🔥
First and foremost, huge thanks to Hambright PR for this ARC! 🙏 I loved it! This was a perfect fit for me since there's nothing I enjoy more than a polyamory story where all three characters are involved with each other. Really, chef’s kiss! 😘💋
💖 Cade and Declan are top-tier book boyfriends, both for Melina and for each other. I absolutely loved their story and how, after a long time, they managed to overcome their fears. Melina was the sun that opened their eyes, and I loved how she was the perfect missing piece in their relationship. 🌞✨
This book is a standalone and can be read on its own, but I wish I had read the other books in the series first (which I definitely will now!) because I think I would have had so much more insight into the side characters that I absolutely adored.
It was a fast, entertaining read, and the spice was top-notch! 🌶️🔥 Even though there were some violent scenes (on-page and implied), the book never felt too heavy.
The only slight downside was the handling of certain sensitive topics. The author dealt with domestic violence really well, but I was a little disappointed with how the rape aspect was handled, especially given it affected two out of three main characters. However, I do recognize how difficult it is to address such a topic, and I still appreciate the effort. 🙏
I am beyond obsessed with Brittanee’s books now and I hate to choose favourites but holy shit I think this one may have just taken to top spot on my list haha
The spice in this was top tier incredible!! AMAZING characters, great plot, insane chemistry just WOW!!
I loved everything about this watching all of them grow and be vulnerable with eachother especially finally seeing them all get everything they deserved and needed. They were all so different but balanced eachother out perfectly but the secret mutual pining for years between the MMC’s fuck was so hot!
🏒🎤🚒 MMF ❤️ Small Town 🥵 Grumpy x Sunshines 🔥Forced Proximity ✨Holiday Romance 🎤Popstar FMC 🏒 Hockwy Coach MMC 🚒 Fire Chief MMC 🥰 Friends to Lovers 😳 Heroine in Danger ❤️ Insta-Lust
I tend to steer clear of romances that are high heat/low plot as they often lack the emotional connection that I look for/need. That wasn't the case here. There was plenty of communication, longing, and respect. Everyone got a little one on one time, so I had no trouble (😏) seeing how the relationship functioned when they were paired off- and as a trio.
I loved the exploration of rope play (both in and outside of the bedroom).
I feel like I need to apologize in advance for the person I'm going to become when I have War's book in my hands. This man had a 5 second cameo and I just about lost my mind! I'll never get sick of seeing the other couples and their families. Brittanee does found family so well!
Thank you to the author and Hambright PR for sending me a copy of Trouble in exchange for an honest review!
This story had me gripped from the start and if I'm honest I didn't have a lot of hope for it when I heard is was Dec, Fitz and Melina... But I'm happy to be proved wrong and I liked it better than the last book even. I love how grumpy Declan found himself and fell for not one but two people, I love that Cade had been in love with his best friend all his life and finally gets his dream life along with the first woman he's ever said ILY to... And Melina has so sweet, not pushy and loved how her men love each othetr. Fab book!
This was such a smutty good time!! Cade and Declan have been best friends for years and have secretly wanted each other…then Melina enters the picture and wants them both. There was six great chemistry between the three of them and the spice was HOT 🥵 This is definitely a good book if you want spice and character development 💕🫶🏼
This MMF romance was beautiful, scorching hot and a delight to read! The second book in the Boston Bolts Hockey series reeled me in from start to finish. I couldn’t get enough of this pop star, hockey coach and fire chief!
Melina, Cade and Declan were perfect together. I really enjoyed Melina’s go getting, don’t care what others think when it came to her men attitude. She showed so much strenght when it came to her past. Cade’s flirty, filthy personality balanced out his sensitive side so well. And Declan, he found my heart; from his protective and take control personality to to way he showed his vulnerability, faced his fears and opened up. He roped me in (iykyk) and I couldn’t help but love the guy! And all together they navigated through so much.
I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop; as a trio and separately. The connections, the insecurities, the hurdles; it all felt very real and honest. When they got into their groove, it was glorious. The temperature kept rising the more I read.
I cannot wait to see what comes next with this series!
I would like to thank Brittanée Nicole and the Author Agency for the opportunity to read and review Trouble.
4.25 🎤 Popstar FMC 🏒 Hockey coach MMC 👩🏻🚒 Firefighter MMC 💜 Mmf romance 💜 Light Holiday story 💜 Close Proximity - roommates 💜 Friends to lovers 💜 Heroine in danger 💜 She brings them together
💜 Melina, Cade and Declan 💜 This was absolutely one of the hottest reads of the year for me. And maybe my first Mmf this year! Melina is in danger and hiding out from and ex. She is set up to be roommates with Declan, our firefighter Chief who is broody and grumpy. Case, the hockey coach agrees to "fake date" her for the public eye but that QUICKLY becomes a real relationship. Declan also quickly developed a interest in Melina but struggles with being with his best friends girl even though he loves to share.
When these 2&3 get together holy HOT. 🥵🥵🥵
This was a fun quicky and spicy read! I really enjoyed our cameos from some past favorite characters and dear Mr. Beckett coming in to take the credit for everything as always.
Thank you so much to hambright PR, the author agency and Brittanée for this arc.
-mmf romance -hockey coach x firefighter x pop star -heroine in danger -grumpy/sunshine/sunshine -friends to lovers
as per usual, brittanee came in & made these characters so relatable & lovable i could help but root for them! the way cade revealed he had been in love with his bestie for over 20 years made my heart hurt so so so bad for him! melina coming in to be the glue to piece them together was everything!!
I couldn't have loved this book anymore!!! This was my first 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 book! And I'm obsessed! I already have every book I could purchase on Audible downloaded and ready to go! I fell hard for her writing! Jumping into this book I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to follow all the characters after learning that it was interconnected with previous books and series. But my gosh! The way Brittanee writes, there wasn't a single problem with me reading this as a standalone. Only now I'm 𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐃 and can't wait to read and listen to all of her books. The way she writes is just incredible! Her ability to express the details she's writing about is so impressive. She truly helps you envision everything she's describing. I honestly felt like I was watching a movie! And the way she tied in previous characters was perfect. Filling you in with just the right amount of information on them! I'm also not sure I've ever spent so much time highlighting in a book! Not wanting to forget a single thing! The moments in this book were so profound and beautifully written! Brittanee has gained a fan, that's for sure. I LOVED this book!
𝐌𝐞𝐥, 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧 STOLE my heart in this book! Each battling with their own feelings. I LOVED seeing them finally come together. (Pun intended) but as much as I loved that I DEVOURED the angst. The angst in this book is so on point!
And the SPICE!!! The sexual tension is instant and the spice happens at 12%!!! And it was explosive! There's so much chemistry between these three 💥💥
Not only did 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐞 give us the most delicious spice scenes. But she gave us 3 very loveable characters. There was 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐧, the grumpy Firefighter who kept to himself and only spoke when he felt like he really needed to, but was d*mn good with rope. 😉 And when this man did talk the things that came out of his mouth 🙌🙌 it would have you squealing in and out of the bedroom. Then there was 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞, the playful hockey coach with his backward hat, who had zero problem standing out. I loved his playful and flirty personality so much. And watching him pine after his best friend was so sweet!! And then we have the goddess of the group, 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚, the glue. The one that helped both of these two realize how mutual their feelings were. She was spunky and flirty, but also perfectly obedient. 😍😉 I loved how much both of these men were able to open up to her about things they had never even told each other. Every one of their relationships were so special. But as a group they were INCREDIBLE! The balance between them was so well conveyed!
I can't recommend this book enough! If you're looking for a perfectly balanced MMF with an adorable spunky FMC, and two best friends who are total opposites with a relationship full of years of memories, mutual pining, and lots of angst! This book is definitely one you're going to want to read! And the spice is 𝐎𝐅𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒! 💥🔥
Another amazing story in the Boston Bolts hockey world. As always I love the Beckett & Finn cameos 🤣
This time it’s Coach Cade, his best friend and fire chief Declan and singer Melina. Yes this one on a MMF and I loved every bit of it.
Melina needs to get away from her stalker and finds herself staying with the towns grumpy fire chief. When she meets his best friend Cade they hit it off pretty quickly and Dec finds himself jealous of their new relationship. But he doesn’t know which one of them he’s jealous of, maybe both!
I loved the chemistry between all the characters and finding out why Dec had pulled away from the people in his life. One of my favourite things is how much it annoys Cade when Dec won’t text back!
Well shit, I didn’t expect this book to be this spicy, but there were times where I was listening to it, and I literally said to myself, “bloody hell books are wild” 😂
I was loving this book. Not only was it insanely spicy, but there were these emotional, impactful moments that made the love between the three characters mean so much. Their love was so beautiful. Especially because the two MMCs had been best friends for such a long time.
They had such beautiful communication with each other too, even during the spicy scenes. I mean who wouldn’t want to have a grumpy firefighter as a new roommate, and then end up with his best friend who is a hockey coach. Only to find out that your new hook up has always wanted his best friend. And you want them both and they all want each other and god, there were so many holes being filled 😂👀
And the dirty talk. The Shibari. Everything.
Adored this one, can’t wait to listen to the next one
This was so good!!! So much spice, emotions, humor & the usual Brittanee Nicole magic can be found within these pages. Such a lovely MMF romance.
🏒 MMF 🔥 Small town 🏒 Fire chief / pop star / hockey coach MCs 🔥 Grumpy MMC 🏒 Roommates to lovers 🔥 Friends to lovers 🏒 Forced Proximity 🔥 Found family
I devoured this 330 page book so fast you’d think it was a novella. Such an enjoyable story that had me hooked from the jump. I really enjoyed all 3 characters’ personalities and the evolution was truly amazing.
Declan and Cade’s story was especially heartwarming and the way Melina brought the two of them together?? Like she was what they’d been looking for all along.
I do wish we would have gotten more of a look at their relationship after they got together. It seemed like they finally decided they loved each other and then the book ended.
Another hit by Brittanee Nicole and the Langfield universe!! This is one of my favorite series and I just keep falling more in love with these characters with each book.
"Separately, our jerseys were meaningless, right? But put us together, Cade, and we're perfect for you."🫶🏻🫶🏻

Brittanée Nicole has done it again. I’m such a sucker for a bi awakening trope. The emotion was spot on in each MMC and FMC. I loved seeing Declan go from being such a grump to Daddy Declan 🥵 the spice was spicing. ALSO, LOVED the little parts of Beckett and his family. 😍 and of course the infamous Langfield Group Chat . Another 5 ⭐️ read! Can’t wait for more Boston Bolts Hockey.
This was just straight smut. If you’ve read this authors books before it was way different. every chapter was them fucking and I’m not even exaggerating 😂 like I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a chapter in this book that didn’t start off with them not banging. This felt like a novella like I legit thought to my self if this finished at like 150 pages this book would still make complete sense. Dont get me wrong the smut was actually pretty well written and probably the best written sex scenes I have ever read they were not boring at all, how ever I have read 7 books from this author and I didn’t know going into this it was just gonna be no plot and 100% them fucking. If this was a 150 page novella I probably would have gave it 4 stars but it was so dragged, Reading a 340 page book of 3 people constantly fucking my brain is a bit fked so ima go read a fluffy book 😭
Brittanee Nicole absolutely crushed it with this book yet again! I loved how we got to see our main characters all grow throughout the book and find comfort and strength with each other to do so. I was rooting so hard for it to work out with them and their story made my heart so full. There's so much emotion in this book and it really just made their story so much sweeter. And the SPICE, OH MY GOSH IT'S DELICIOUS!
What to Expect: -Small town romance -Grumpy x sunshines -Popstar FMC -Fire chief MMC -Hockey Coach MMC -Forced proximity -MMF -Friends to lovers
