Can an Otan convince a human female to marry him after just one night?
Believing that her mother is speaking to her from the grave, Sharon joins the Intergalactic Marriage Council and is matched with Ian, a member of the Otan Species. They may be destined for each other but Sharon isn’t going to stick around long enough to find out.
Ian is hot and being near him drives her wild, but Sharon isn’t thrilled with what he does for a living and isn’t sure she can handle being married to him. She’s ready to ditch the whole idea and go back to Earth.
Ian proposes she give him one night to show her exactly why being married to him is what she needs. Sharon wants him bad enough to agree. Ian gives her a night to remember, but is it enough to change her mind? Can she really toss her reservations aside based on one amazing night?
Avid reader/blogger turned erotica writer during the pandemic — because what else was there to do? I’ve been reading steamy romance novels since elementary school when I would “borrow” my mother’s books. Discovered the key to her locked cabinet in high school and gained access to her stash of good books and was hooked ever since.
I stumbled upon alien erotica novels early in the pandemic, and I honestly hadn’t known non-cheesy ones were out there. I always assumed they would be stupid. But bored with the never-ending sameness, I happened upon one with a hot alien cover and started reading.
As they say, the rest is history. And here I am, writing alien erotica….
Lord have mercy, I’ve read car manuals that were sexier than this story. Was it the terms like jelly bean, wet gash, and cunny that turned me off? Was it the missing information about a big part of the plot as to why her file was hidden in the first place? Was it the wham bam thank you ma’am spearfishing on top of a (would-be) cold glass table? Was it the lack of proofreading?
I don’t understand why anyone would like this. It’s not the lack of plot. It’s the lack of anything of interest at all.
For a short story written for erotic content, it was hot. I gave it a 4 Star Review, because it left me confused, as to where she was in the middle of the story. The transition from her apartment on Earth to arriving at her matched mate's office without going through some sort of check in process, was handled awkwardly. That with some typos resulted in a less than perfect rating. I recommend it for a quick hot read.
Ian greets his prospective bride and acts like a jerk
Ian has a reason for his rudeness but Sharon tries to leave the meeting. Later Ian decides on a bit of 'Show and Tell' and Sharon is very happy she agreed to drinks. Psychic connection/suggestion on both sides plus their combustion make both agree to the marriage!
What a fun story. I enjoyed the sass, and the chemistry. I also liked that both of them had the dream, and then then the duhh hints afterwards. I liked his honesty. A lot of fun to read!
This was a fun short Alien/Human rom-com. Who knew there was an Intergalactic Marriage Council? It looks to be one of a series and I would definitely sign up for the rest. Highly recommend this book
Why can’t I find my soulmate from a different planet? I need a man who will give me so much pleasure I can feel it for ever and one that wants to pamper me too!!!
