I actually really enjoyed Walker’s writing style and felt this book had actual plot with actual characters you can get to know. It made the reading experience very enjoyable for a book that was supposed to be cringe, and at some parts of course it was. But I did actually enjoy this one lol
I do think Jenny and Eaton need to work on their communication skills (to be fair, they knew each other for like two days) but I liked their characters. I liked that Jenny still had spark to her and didn’t let a man control her, and she had depth, with her trauma. She was a diva, and Eaton was just super kind even if he was a bit much at times (but he didn’t know that what he was doing was a bit much until later and Jenny placed boundaries, which he respected.) They’re cutesie.
I was curious to know if what was touched on is actually true, regarding how some men may not like this specific kink. It was very interesting to me, and I thought Jenny’s business was something that I’ve also known of its existence. Either for people like Jenny, or for people that need it because they don’t produce any of their own, etc. It made me connect to the story actually a lot easier instead of it just being a cringe blob of nothing lol
One thing I will never forget however is that I read ‘hawk tuah’ at one point😂I’m surprised I haven’t seen it in any of the other DNF series books lol.

“Any man who has made her feel anything except desirable knowing she gets off on bathing in spunk should have his man card taken away. Never have sexier words been spoken to me, and I might spontaneously combust if I don’t get the chance to explore this kink with her soon.” (Eaton)
“She obeys, and I come to terms with the fact that I’m probably going to nut in my boxers because the aight before me is stuff wars are fought over.” (Eaton)
