3.5⭐️ firstly the audiobook for this was SO GOOD!! the duet narration and choice of narrators gave another layer to the story and definitely amplified the experience for me. Xeraphine was essentially Lana Myers, if Lana Myers was a sexy, badass, literal man eating succubus. I love a good female rage revenge plot and this delivered. Our MMC Kai is a 6ft 10, hot, possessive vampire with stalker tendencies (tick ✅, tick✅, tick✅) and falls HARD and FAST for Xera. I do wish the romance wasn’t as instant lusty/lovey as I like to work harder for the payoff 🤭 but this was a super fun, bingeable, SPICY time with a heartbreaking cliffhanger ❤️🩹

I suggest you listen to this book because the guy that narrated Kay’s voice literally makes your panties burn out of your body ! 🥵🔥
This was a super interesting book to me because I’m not use to read books about vampires, succubus , shifters and etc…. This takes place in a future where regular humans live with all creatures you can imagine in “harmony” as in harmony as all of them together can be. For example restaurants serve humans food but also all types of blood for vampires and other things for other species. So this concept was very interesting to me. Than we have THE HOTTEST OF ALL HOTNESS VAMPIRE EVER in Ky,he is close to 7ft tall, ebony skin, full tattooed, long/short hair, red eyes, giant 🍆 with piercings, insatiable appetite, super crazily possessive, very jealous with a vampire strength! HOLLY HOTNESS THIS VAMPIRE IS A DREAM ! I swear I need one of those, where can I get one ? 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 also he calls her Little Demon, swoon 😍
Then we have Xeraphine and she is a succubus, meaning she is sex demon. She is half demon and half human (a hybrid) so she can’t die, she has many powers but she feeds on other’s energy and she can get this energy through their orgasms. So NEEDLESS to say that this book is smutty AF and Jesus is HOT. The scenes are toe curling and blushing guaranteed!
You get this with a good plot and mystery with a FMC that is a Lana Myers of the paranormal, she is A BADDIE, sassy, grumpy to the point of being super funny then you get one hell if a female character.
Ky is the OBSESSED STALKER VAMPIRE who is also grumpy but not as much as her and he is funny, kinda of….
The only issue for me is that I obviously being the hooligan that I am didn’t check that it wasn’t a standalone and it ends in a cliffhanger 😒🙄 FML !
But everything else is great and now I wait, I guess…..

characters = mid. setting = mid. plot = mid. writing = mid. insta love = obviously. concept = mid. romance = no where to be found. development = mid. cover = mid. smut = the only thing present and EXTREMELY mid. pacing = piss poor. my braincells = evaporated. my want to read this book = i need to stop doing this to myself.
wow. this was BAD. like, really fucking bad. you know a book isn't working when you want to stop reading by page ONE. the fact that i even made it 10 chapters in is a miracle. this book does not have a plot, and this is not an exaggeration. this book was presented to me as a dark, paranormal demon revenge romance. what we actually got was succubus porn left, right, and center. there are a plethora of things that went wrong with this book, but i am going to list the main aspects that flopped. typical disclaimer: i am NOT the book police nor am i speaking on behalf of anyone but myself. this review — similar to this book — is deeply unserious. take it with a bucket of salt.
1. pick me ass characters
first of all, don't piss me off. the main character in this book was so pompous and imperious which gave me the biggest ick. we start off PAGE ONE with her fucking a random ass man before violently killing him. the amount of detailed unnecessary smut that was present gave me whiplash. there is so much action off the bat with no buildup, no tension, no longing, no romance. it's just physical and beyond fucking cringy. a cringe fest lana myers wannabe who thinks she is the queen of the town. calling her a “lana myers” replica is so damn embarrassing. xera is the corniest cornfest i've had the displeasure of reading about. all she did was gas herself up and fuck everything that moved. a mess.
2. the pacing
the way the story unfolded was so damn weird. granted i did not finish this book and only made it to about chapter 10, but that doesn't warrant a monotonous flavorless story. i understand that certain genres like fantasy, dystopian, and dark academia need some time to get the story going but THIS book is not one of those. in addition to the world building being absolutely fucking stupid, nothing is actually happening with the world or the characters. for this to be a duet, and the second book being so. much. longer. than this first one is actually insane. why the fuck is the audiobook running for 20 hours. bro, just stop. no shade, but sometimes more is not better and we need to get some real editors and agents to critique our work. bring back haters.
3. the romance
there is no romance in this book. this book is literally just porn. terribly written too. xera and kai have no chemistry. a book — a romance book — can't be driven by lust and sex. i couldn't listen to more than 10 minutes of this audiobook without dying of embarrassment. i don't even understand why the characters met, why they liked each other, what their goal was...nothing was making any damn sense. the relationship was giving episode on crack. foolishness.
the audiobook was so...i don't get the craze. james did a great job for the content he was given but it's nothing special. so many male narrators have done the same — if not better, so me choosing to listen to this was nothing unique. you can clearly tell this was written by an older author too, because NO ONE our age speaks like this — or thinks this verbiage is attractive. this was truly a waste of time and as soon as i stopped listening to this buffoonery, i sat in my prayer room and reflected my life choices. everyone who clowned me for even picking this up??? yeah, you’re real for that.

audio 5 stars though! (I probably would not have finished this if I were reading with my eyeballs)
This had so much potential but it was hidden by the sheer amount of smut MY GOD.
I can totally see the appeal of this book and why so many readers rated it so highly. It had such a solid foundation with the interesting characters and premise, and I really wanted this to be my new obsession; however, it fell so flat in execution for me.
I knew this was going to be spicy and I'm fine with spice as long as there is a decent plot to back it up and the fact that the fmc is a succubus (aka feeding off sex) prepares you for the fact that this will have a lot of spice. However, the first 50% of the book was just smut with barely anything happening. After the 50% mark, it did start to pick up with the revenge plot, but it was kind of all over the place for me.
The worldbuilding kind of took a backseat here. It was kind of an urban fantasy setting with all these magical creatures living with mundanes (aka humans) freely, but there weren't a lot of details about the world for me to feel immersed in it.
The best part of the book for me was the characters and the flow of their relationship.
The fmc, Xeraphine, was blood thirsty and crazy and I totally support her revenge crusade🤚 The mmc, Kairhyse, was actually so cute in a crazy stalkery kind of way😅 Same old story, he sees her, gets obsessed by how crazy and hot she is and proceeds to stalk her.. in a cute way you know😅 I liked how he accepted her the way she is but still got her out of her shell throughout the story. (He also apparently had a tree log down there😶🌫️) I loved their domestic moments and the times he was trying to get to know her while she reluctantly pushed him away😅 The book would have been 1000 times better if she focused more on that aspect imo.
Their spice, though very plentiful😅, was very very hot😅 but by the end I was exhausted 😭 Like girl how are you still upright pls😭😭😭 I get that you feed off sex, but like are you not full😭
Overall, I think the copious amount of spice here overshadowed the plot and took away from it instead of adding to it. I will read book two because of the painful cliffy but why is book 2 so long😭😭 19 hours on audio whyyyyyy😭

This was okay for me… just not great.
★ ̗̀⇢ Starting with what I liked
I LOVED Xeraphine and Sydney’s friendship. Xera is so prickly with everyone except Syd. That’s her princess and she makes it very clear.
Even when she’s pretending to be indifferent, you know she’d do absolutely anything for her 🥹
Same thing with Kai and Syd. He just fully accepted that she’s an absolute maniac and loves her anyway, which honestly I respect.
Syd herself was so cute to me. She’s so sweet 🥹 and her nicknames for everyone were the cutest thing ever.
The banter throughout the book was really good. She doesn’t want to be saved, he wants to save her, and they’re constantly arguing about it. I loved that dynamic 🤭
★ - ̗̀⇢. What I didn’t like
The smut. I’m sorry but I would much rather have ONE good scene than multiple repetitive ones. I just can’t do it. And they weren’t even good either 😭
There also wasn’t much substance to the book as a whole. When I heard this was similar to the Mindfck* series my expectations were pretty high, and I don’t think it really compares. I read that series four years ago and it’s still imprinted in my mind.
This one… I fear I’ll forget pretty quickly. It just wasn’t memorable for me.

This book is the mindfuck series but make it paranormal and super fucking spicy🥵
When I tell you, I gobbled the shit up. I am not kidding. This book had everything I absolutely love SHOUT OUT to the 🩸 sucking/ feeding because that shit was hottttt
The amount of feminine rage that was put into this book was 🧑🍳💋. I love a bad ass FMC on a revenge tour, bonus points if she’s a succubus that uses men to feed and sucks out their life force while fucking them. POP TF OFF QUEEN (my hero) I loved her so much, her story broke my heart. Her past has made her put up the highest walls but that’s okay because Kai comes barreling through them.
Kairhyse😮💨 the 6’7 tattooed vampire with a pierced 🍆 & the ultimate shadow daddy . I was on my knees barking for all 381 pages. Not only was he obsessive stalker, which is two of my favorite traits it’s the fact that no matter how much Xera acted like she wasn’t interested in him he saw right through her bullshit and he kept pushing. & it was giving a little grumpy ( Xera) sunshine (Kai) I love a good sassy playful MMC who also rips people apart for her.
And don’t even get me started on all the acts of service and every little small detail that he noticed about her 🥹😭 man is perfection and they’re such a good couple I need moreeeee
The plot of this book was so fucking good. I found myself thinking about it all day long and I will continue to think about it until I have book two in my hands. I only had to read a chapter to know that ML Burns was going to be an author that I just vibe with their writing.
This spice was for sure some of my favorite 🤭 this is a MUST READ

4.5 ⭐ / When it comes to dark romance, I’m always looking for stories that offer more than just the romance and All Your Bloody Lies absolutely delivers. The paranormal elements, the threads of revenge and mystery, and the cinematic, almost grindhouse quality of the plot reminded me of classic exploitation films like I Spit on Your Grave or Last House on the Left in the best way. It’s bold, unique, and such a refreshing take on the genre.
The banter between Xera and Kai is sharp and addictive, and even amidst the darker themes, their connection brings so much levity and charm. There’s a real joy in watching their dynamic unfold. It made me smile so many times.
That said, by the end, a bit of repetition crept in with certain phrases that started to pull me out of the story. But honestly, that’s a small note in the grand scheme of how much this book accomplishes. The ending is absolutely wild, and I’m beyond excited to see how everything plays out in part two. While this isn’t quite a five-star read for me yet, I have no doubt the full duet together will be something truly unforgettable.

yo estaba esperando la versión paranormal de Mindfuck de S. T. Abby y, aunque en cierto modo sí fue eso, siento que la ejecución quedó un poco plana. no logró mantenerme enganchada ni tampoco conecté del todo con los personajes.
aun así, se pasó bien. no lo odié JAJAJA.

Xeraphine is a badass, that’s all. Iconic. Mother. Sexy. Queen. Judge. Jury. & Executioner. We see Xera grow immensely throughout the book. She struggles with any form of affection or attachment, so when you see her start breaking down those walls to let others is just so sweet. She’ll still kill you though.

She struggles with any form of affection or attachment, so when you see her start breaking down those walls to let others is just so sweet. She’ll still kill you though.

IT WAS A GOOOOOD DECISION BECAUSE I LISTENED TO THE AUDIOBOOK IN ONE SITTING OH MY GODDDDD IT WAS SO GOOD! Love me a revengeful morally black FMC and an equally strong MMC. I love how badass this FMC is!!! She is a LITERAL man-eater 😂. Love how she tricks assholes and is a baddie while doing it.
The mystery and suspense was great!! It got a little too smutty at times (ended up skimming those parts out of boredom), so that is why it’s not 5 stars. It dragged a bit in the middle as well.
Overall, I loved this story, and read it in one day! If you liked the Mind F series or any book with a badass bitchhh, then this is the book for you!

probably one of the darkest most fucked up books I’ve ever read but still very unique, very good world building and character development, so I can’t deny it was a 5 star book for me even if I can’t look in the mirror for a while

From the start you are hooked by the FMC in trouble but don't you worry, you obviously have the whole book so she lives. Shes her own hero but she finds the vampire (SHADOW DADDY? Lowkey want a new husband who can create shadows of himself and then proceed to...you know🌶) she never knew she needed. Don't forget the best friend who puts up with her and her grumpiness.
I highlighted so many fun moments I want to remember and I will absolutely be buying the physical copy ASAP. The artwork and pages you'll expect? Absolutely beautiful.

OMG 🥵 This book is a whirlwind but I loved every minute of it! I haven’t read much dark romance at this point but if they are all like AYBL then I’m hooked. It’s spicy and deadly and twisty and just so perfect. Xera is such a bad a** and hell bent on a path for revenge. Y’all are going to be obsessed!

Ok, hear me out. I freaking loved ALL YOUR BLOODY LIES, despite this cover that we won't talk about. Just imagine the Mindf*ck series but paranormal. I was HERE FOR IT. It was UNHINGED, gory, sad and sexy. We have a Succubus/Mundane out for revenge and the Vampire who is so obsessed with her that if you looked up stalker in the dictionary his photo would be there. But guess what? IT WORKED. I loved Xeraphine with her sharp tongue no bull attitude who got things done. No one is going to derail her plans and after you know what happened in her past you're cheering her on while holding the shovel. But then Kairhyse our vamp shows up and oh my this is when things get really good. This man isn't put off by our girl's bite, if anything it pulls him closer. He wants her and nothing and no one (including her) will get in his way. But here's the thing; Kai is actually a really good guy but even good guys can be bad. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and so hot I'm surprised my kindle didn't overheat. But there was also sweetness with how he took care of her and looked past what was done to her and saw, her. I was inhaling this book as fast as I could because I just needed more of Xera and Kai. They were THAT couple. The one where stars align, banters on point, affection makes you swoon and spice is burning hot. And when he calls her "little demon" signed, sealed, delivered I'm a goner. I went into this book with zero expectations and wow, I was blown away. I have no idea how this wound up on my TBR, but whoever recommended it, thank you! The story has totally kept my interest, even though it’s fast burn, extremely high heat and insta-lust…things that I tend to get bored with when it’s too much too soon, but nope, not here! It probably helps that I love the characters so much. Oh yea, let me suggest the audiobooks 😘 The two narrators: Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy, oh my word. They are fantastic. They each voiced various characters and not one time did I have a hard time following who was who. Also, Kai’s voice. Just. Perfection. I’m on a mission to listen to everything these two narrate.
This is a dark and graphically disturbing story of revenge. Xeraphine has had unbelievable things done to her in life that has carved her into a cold, calculated woman with a single goal of taking out those who wronged her. She is take charge and has zero fucks to give about anyone and will use all her Succubus abilities to get what she wants. Do not get in her way. Well…Kairhyse gets in her way.
I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just mention a couple more things that really stand out to me: The relationship between Xera and her best friend (that she tries to hold at arms length) Sidney cracked me up. They are the ultimate grumpy /sunshine best friends. Their shit had me giggling. The other is the fantastic touched her and die vibes. Oh my 🥵You truly believe this man will tear her enemies apart. And not to keep harping on it, but listening to the growly angry voice of Kai threatening people is just something I didn’t know I needed in my life 😅 So yea, I recommend if you love dark fantasy. Check those TW, the author has everything laid out because this is brutal.
