4.5 I'm Not Hiding From It Anymore Stars ⭐
The best things in my life have come at the end of a long fight; I should have guessed that my future wife would be no exception.
It's a destination wedding, but I guess nobody anticipated the father of the groom hooking up with the much younger sister of the bride. The initial flirtation was innocent; well until the sparks between Judah and Isobel became real.
You get all the heat and passion of an age gap romance in Out of Sight however you don't expect the storyline surrounding Isobel that sucker punches you with feeling. Because behind the prickly exterior that Isobel exudes, is some major anxiety caused by a shitty family.
So enters a gorgeous older doctor who's smitten from a glance. Isobel may be forbidden but once Judah falls he's all about helping and winning the trust of this girl. He becomes her protector, her lover and her everything.
“I’m going to get you pregnant.” He whispers, voice rough with emotion. “Going to give you a family, Issy. A real family. I’ve always wanted that, and I think you have too, so we’re going to make one together.”
This was exactly what I needed. Sweet and filthy, emotional and naughty. I'm loving this new to me author who's writing these smutty romances with heart and swoony love affairs!!

I really enjoyed reading this one! I love how protective Judah is towards Is, he stands up to her overbearing parents more than once on her behalf. The forbidden aspect was yummy and there was a good amount of spicy spice! As always, Cleo White has written a masterpiece that will surely become another one of my comfort reads!

This was a new author to me, and it was actually pretty good for what it is. I liked the cast of characters and most of the plot development. The h’s parents can go suck on a cactus. 🌵🖕But I really wish there were more age gap stories where the heroine doesn’t call the hero Daddy. I mean it can still be sexy, taboo, and a caretaker trope without it, ya know? I’m just really tired of that being almost every author’s go-to for age gap spicy novellas, and it felt unnecessary and tired. Other than that, I liked it.

This will undoubtedly always be one of my favourites by CW. The Panic attack scene always makes me so emotional because I relate so much to Is's character and parts of her situation. It feels so real, and the way that Judah comforts her is everything 🥹.

I came into this expecting a really simple story- but I was really surprised by it, particularly because I ended up relating A LOT to the heroine. So just know that those comfort-care scenes hit different 💀☝️.
I'm shocked that I actually managed to finish AND like a book because of the slump that I'm in rn- I actually really enjoyed this one.

4 stars. A sweet, steamy and mildly angsty (but in a very soap opera-y way) instalove novella. Silver fox doctor MMC who is immediately all-in and totally protective over the FMC, never mind that they've just met and they're at his son’s wedding and she’s the bride’s younger sister. It’s not unique but it is done well. I gobbled this up.

I’ve been flying through this author’s backlist! Judah and Isobel meet after a flight to Bora Bora, sharing a taxi to the local resort. The attraction is clear, but things are complicated when they realize they’re both there for the same reason - a wedding. Judah’s son is marrying Isobel’s sister, making him her soon-to-be father in law!
Judah and Isobel were hot together, but he also unlocked a level of vulnerability in her that was so sweet to see. Judah made it no secret to her that he was in it for the long haul. His patience and persistence in showing her she was indeed good enough for all the good things made my heart swoon. The tropical backdrop made their romance even sexier. This was a great read for me!
This author has a superb talent at giving you a well-rounded romance in a novella-length book. Her books truly are addictive and it’s no surprise I’m almost done with her backlist!

Age gap sisters FIL— I usually steer away from novella’s but this one caught my eye and I really enjoyed it. Isobel is on her way to her sister’s destination wedding . On arrival she meets Judah. They have a moment of heavy attraction. Later at dinner she finds out Judah is her sisters fiancés father. Isobels physician parents always treat her as a second class citizen. They dote on isobels Doctor sister who is marrying a doctor who is a son of a doctor. Are you feeling a common thread??? Isobel is finishing up medical school awaiting to hear if she’s accepted into the famiy tradition medical school. Doctor Father in law Judah falls fast for Isobel. There’s really good character development for such a short smutty read. Judah is a great H who champions his h. This is a fantastic palate cleanser for those who like dark angsty reads.

All you need to know is, that this was such a treat!!!
I devoured this in like 3 hours, I just couldn’t stop reading it😩!!
I loved the story, the characters, the dynamic and the taboo aspect. It was definitely full of drama and had some serious themes in it, but it was also kinky, hot, steamy and sweet.
It really was beautiful to follow Issys way how she started to accept and love herself. How she finally build up trust into someone and shared her deepest secrets and worries. And Judah was amazing for how he took care of her, for how he stood up for her and showed her his undeniable love. Ugh they both were perfect :,)
I also loved the slight medical kink they had in a few sexy time scenes ( since Judah is actually a gynecologist) hehe this was just so 👀🤭

Omg, I can’t with the Daddy. I’ve called my sexy older hubby lots of things over the years, but Daddy is certainly not one of them. I know some people like that Daddy kink, but I can’t find any sexiness in it. I do not want the thought of my Dad involved in my sexual relations, at all 🥴
Anyway, as for the story, it wasn’t bad. The heroine was a bit of a cold, stand-off’ish, type, as a result of having assholes for parents that ignored her and spoiled her older sister. The hero was the father of the heroine’s sisters new hubby. It was a quick 120-page story, one and done type of read.
I would love to read an age gap book like this, where the older hero does NOT have children. I love the age gap taboo, but not the constant reminder that he is old enough to be her father (by having his own kid the same age as the heroine).

That was a lovely and fast read.
It was the absolute age gap/insta love/forbidden romance I needed. So easy and fast to read, incredibly well written.
I've loved how protective Judah was of Isobel, right from the beginning. He saw what other people in her life failed to see. Her parents do not deserve to be mentioned in this review. I appreciated how Evie tried to connect with her sister after years of being deached.

Oh delightful fun. Total wish fulfillment age gap romance- older man who is self assured and supports the fmc against her emotionally negligent parents. Light easy and fun. Spoiling the fmc, which I love, and a light daddy kink.

This was a great read! I loved Isobel and I'm claiming her as my bestie for life!
Out of Sight is probably in my top 5 best reads of this year. It was full of spicy angst, intense emotion and had amazing main characters. Judah was an OTT possessive growly hero that was the perfect protective and loving balm Isobel needed. Seriously he is a 10/10 book boyfriend.
Not only was the love story between Issy and Judah an emotional high, I loved the growth we see in Issy, not only with accepting and putting herself first but with Evie who is going through her own emotional journey. Lucky they both found men willing and able to lean on when things get tough.
This was a beautiful second chance for Judah as well. He was at a point in his life, where he thought he'd missed his chance at love but meeting Isobel pushed him to take a chance on a new beginning in life, with someone he loved and could build a future with. I loved how once he realized what he felt for Issy was real and all consuming, he didn't let anything stand in his way of claiming his HEA with the woman of his dreams. There is nothing sexier then a committed and devoted hero completely gone for his heroine and Judah was that in spades!
This is my first Cleo White book but it won't be my last. I'm already excited to download some of her earlier novellas. The blurbs alone have hooked me!
Highly recommended. I 100% know I'll be re-reading this one and am so excited it's available as a paperback because this has earned a spot on my book shelf, not just my kindle!

My heart broke for Issa the first half of this book. It made me so sad with the way she was treated.

This is my first book by Cleo White, and wow, it did not disappoint! I wanted to dive into her books for a while, and last week I was in the mood for something light and quick. This was just the book! I love age gap and forbidden romance tropes, and this story delivered them beautifully. Isobel is on her way to her sister's wedding when she runs into Judah at the airport. There’s an instant spark between them, and they plan to meet at the resort to get to know each other better. But things take a twist when they discover they're going to be in-laws!
This is a quick read, but a lot is going on in the story. I felt for Isobel. Her parents treat her like she’s invisible, always raving about her older sister and ignoring her achievements. It’s heartbreaking to see her struggle to fit in and feel like a disappointment. No matter how hard she tries to please them, it’s never enough. Many of us probably relate to Isobel’s feelings. I loved how she finally stood up for herself and went after what she truly loved instead of just trying to meet her parents’ expectations. Judah is amazing when it comes to looking out for Isobel. He sees right through her parents and stands up for her. It’s great how he helps her realize that she’s perfect just the way she is.

The first 50% of this was the most cutie cinnamon roll thing I’ve ever read. Him being a an OBGYN who works to fight against the disparity of treatment for marginalized women, doesn’t let anyone (including her horrible parents) degrade her, and helps her through her panic attacks without calling her crazy?? Yeah 10/10 green flag guy. I don’t even care about their age difference, love is love, and he is so hot AND respectful. The last 50% I think lit my kindle on fire. Man is generous. G E N E R O U S. Finished this book in a few hours it’s a short one like less than 200 pages! This novella is spicy while also having a perfect amount of meaningful plot. The plot focuses on a marriage between Isabel’s sister and Judahs son, and the difficult relationship Issy has with her family. Judah and Isobel ugh love them for a couple reasons
- Judah protected Issy from her parents every single chance he could and she needed that so bad!
- Judah is an OBGYN who is passionate about accessible healthcare for women which is something I am v passionate about so imagine my surprise when I came across this in a book 😍
- Loved Issy’s character arc
Cleo does a great job making insta love work. These two had a beautiful relationship and I wish I coulda got a million more pages of the two of them!

The absolute perfect age gap/forbidden romance that’s spicy and a fast read! 🖤
I honestly could not put this book down at all once I started reading it!
A short novella that still had an amazing plot and character build up, plus spice while being a short read was phenomenal!

WOW. I AM SO SAD IT IS OVER, THIS BOOK HAD MY WHOLE HEART.
I picked it up while looking for short smutty reads, and while Instalove stories usually don’t usually grip my heart, this story managed to do just that!!!
Wow. The only thing i’m disappointed in is that it isn’t longer. But even with such a short story, Cleo managed to make us fall in love with the MCs. So unexpectedly emotional too with the whole thing with the parents. Everything about it is perfect. ABSOLUTE HEA. NO OW/OM DRAMA. *chefs kiss*

So this book was actually quite insane if you look at it from an outside perspective. Tbh it was like going to a family member’s wedding but making it all about you. This FMC had no idea who she was or what she wanted, and I’m not convinced she ever did. As soon as her parents pulled the plug on her financially, she just decided to go live with an older man. Idk. I love age gap most of the time, but this felt creepy and weird. Borderline grooming.
