4.5 I'm Not Hiding From It Anymore Stars ⭐
The best things in my life have come at the end of a long fight; I should have guessed that my future wife would be no exception.
It's a destination wedding, but I guess nobody anticipated the father of the groom hooking up with the much younger sister of the bride. The initial flirtation was innocent; well until the sparks between Judah and Isobel became real.
You get all the heat and passion of an age gap romance in Out of Sight however you don't expect the storyline surrounding Isobel that sucker punches you with feeling. Because behind the prickly exterior that Isobel exudes, is some major anxiety caused by a shitty family.
So enters a gorgeous older doctor who's smitten from a glance. Isobel may be forbidden but once Judah falls he's all about helping and winning the trust of this girl. He becomes her protector, her lover and her everything.
“I’m going to get you pregnant.” He whispers, voice rough with emotion. “Going to give you a family, Issy. A real family. I’ve always wanted that, and I think you have too, so we’re going to make one together.”
This was exactly what I needed. Sweet and filthy, emotional and naughty. I'm loving this new to me author who's writing these smutty romances with heart and swoony love affairs!!

3.5 ⭐️ I have to admit… I actually expected to like this one a lot more.
🌴 The Premise
Isobel travels to Bora Bora for her sister’s destination wedding, hoping to survive a week with her family.
What she doesn’t expect is to be drawn to the handsome older man she meets before they even reach the resort.
Their attraction is instant, but things take an unexpected turn when she discovers Judah is the groom’s father.
🌺 My Thoughts
This book had so many tropes I normally love that I was convinced it was going to be a hit—especially after how much I enjoyed You’re It.
It took me a little while to get invested, but once Isobel’s family dynamics came into focus, I found myself genuinely rooting for her. Watching her constantly dismissed, overlooked, and compared to her older sister was heartbreaking.
I really appreciated how quickly Judah recognized what was happening and refused to ignore it.
My favorite scene was after Isobel’s panic attack. The way Judah stayed by her side and simply let her feel everything was easily the most emotional moment of the book for me.
Unfortunately, I never became as invested in the romance as I was in Isobel’s story.
I don’t mind insta-love, but by the time they were talking about forever, I still felt like they barely knew each other. I believed Judah cared deeply about Isobel, but I never fully believed they had fallen in love.
I also wished Isobel’s character arc had gone a little further. While it was satisfying to see Judah and even her sister stand up to her parents, I kept waiting for Isobel to finally find her own voice. By the end, it felt like everyone else had confronted her parents except her, which made her personal growth feel a little incomplete.
Overall, I found myself much more invested in Isobel’s healing than in the relationship itself. The family storyline carried the book for me, while the romance never quite reached the same emotional depth.

I really enjoyed reading this one! I love how protective Judah is towards Is, he stands up to her overbearing parents more than once on her behalf. The forbidden aspect was yummy and there was a good amount of spicy spice! As always, Cleo White has written a masterpiece that will surely become another one of my comfort reads!

This was a new author to me, and it was actually pretty good for what it is. I liked the cast of characters and most of the plot development. The h’s parents can go suck on a cactus. 🌵🖕But I really wish there were more age gap stories where the heroine doesn’t call the hero Daddy. I mean it can still be sexy, taboo, and a caretaker trope without it, ya know? I’m just really tired of that being almost every author’s go-to for age gap spicy novellas, and it felt unnecessary and tired. Other than that, I liked it.

This will undoubtedly always be one of my favourites by CW. The Panic attack scene always makes me so emotional because I relate so much to Is's character and parts of her situation. It feels so real, and the way that Judah comforts her is everything 🥹.

I'm shocked that I actually managed to finish AND like a book because of the slump that I'm in rn- I actually really enjoyed this one.

4 stars. A sweet, steamy and mildly angsty (but in a very soap opera-y way) instalove novella. Silver fox doctor MMC who is immediately all-in and totally protective over the FMC, never mind that they've just met and they're at his son’s wedding and she’s the bride’s younger sister. It’s not unique but it is done well. I gobbled this up.

I was hoping Isobel’s family would get eaten by the sharks or just drown 😒 The way they treated her was just horrible.

I’ve been flying through this author’s backlist! Judah and Isobel meet after a flight to Bora Bora, sharing a taxi to the local resort. The attraction is clear, but things are complicated when they realize they’re both there for the same reason - a wedding. Judah’s son is marrying Isobel’s sister, making him her soon-to-be father in law!
Judah and Isobel were hot together, but he also unlocked a level of vulnerability in her that was so sweet to see. Judah made it no secret to her that he was in it for the long haul. His patience and persistence in showing her she was indeed good enough for all the good things made my heart swoon. The tropical backdrop made their romance even sexier. This was a great read for me!
This author has a superb talent at giving you a well-rounded romance in a novella-length book. Her books truly are addictive and it’s no surprise I’m almost done with her backlist!

Age gap sisters FIL— I usually steer away from novella’s but this one caught my eye and I really enjoyed it. Isobel is on her way to her sister’s destination wedding . On arrival she meets Judah. They have a moment of heavy attraction. Later at dinner she finds out Judah is her sisters fiancés father. Isobels physician parents always treat her as a second class citizen. They dote on isobels Doctor sister who is marrying a doctor who is a son of a doctor. Are you feeling a common thread??? Isobel is finishing up medical school awaiting to hear if she’s accepted into the famiy tradition medical school. Doctor Father in law Judah falls fast for Isobel. There’s really good character development for such a short smutty read. Judah is a great H who champions his h. This is a fantastic palate cleanser for those who like dark angsty reads.

Out of Sight is a quick, summer-y, spicy read that kept me reading because I was nosy and wanted to see how it ended LOL.
I randomly picked the audiobook up on Hoopla to put on while I organized things around my room and by the time I finished the book was over and I was left…wanting? This is centered around Isobel and Judah, who meet in a rideshare when they arrive in Bora Bora for a wedding. What both of them don’t realize until they get to the resort is that they’re attending the same wedding: Judah’s son is marrying Isobel’s older sister who is the favorite of their parents because she’s done everything expected of her and followed in their footsteps to become a doctor. Also, why would a man not be obsessed? But on the other hand, when the FMC is 23 and the MMC is 50-something and they tell each other they’re falling in love in under 7 days my mind wonders to…are these people sane? LOL nurse!!!! 🗣️
Final consensus: the spice was mostly fine. The instalove didn’t work for me. I wished Isobel was stronger and easier to root for. The audiobook carried me through! Not bad for a random find on Hoopla.

I randomly picked the audiobook up on Hoopla to put on while I organized things around my room and by the time I finished the book was over and I was left…wanting? This is centered around Isobel and Judah, who meet in a rideshare when they arrive in Bora Bora for a wedding. What both of them don’t realize until they get to the resort is that they’re attending the same wedding: Judah’s son is marrying Isobel’s older sister who is the favorite of their parents because she’s done everything expected of her and followed in their footsteps to become a doctor. بصراحة عشت معها كل المشاعر حرفيًا بكيت لين حلقي وجعني مدري الرواية فعلًا مؤثرة أو هرموناتي شغالة بزيادة 😭 وفي نفس الوقت فرحت معهم وحسيت بفراشات في مشاهد الدعم والحب بين جودا وأيسي… طريقته معها كانت تخلي القلب يلين كان يعوضها عن كل قهر عيشوه ياه أهلها جاحدين ويقدسها تقديس يجنن.

Whenever I think I’ve read the best book Cleo has ever written, I’m proved wrong, but she really outdid herself with this one. I swear, the only negative thing is that it ended too soon!
There was a scene where I had to take a minute because I was seriously crying. I can relate to Isobel 100%. I’m her and she is me, we are literally the same person.
So, with all this being said, where do I find a Doctor Judah Hale all to myself? Do I wait for Santa to bring him under my tree? No, ‘cause I’m waiting for him, and it’s not only a want, it’s a NEED!

All you need to know is, that this was such a treat!!!
I devoured this in like 3 hours, I just couldn’t stop reading it😩!!
I loved the story, the characters, the dynamic and the taboo aspect. It was definitely full of drama and had some serious themes in it, but it was also kinky, hot, steamy and sweet.
It really was beautiful to follow Issys way how she started to accept and love herself. How she finally build up trust into someone and shared her deepest secrets and worries. And Judah was amazing for how he took care of her, for how he stood up for her and showed her his undeniable love. Ugh they both were perfect :,)
I also loved the slight medical kink they had in a few sexy time scenes ( since Judah is actually a gynecologist) hehe this was just so 👀🤭
Man I loved this book so much I will definitely reread it at some point and maybe then write a more detailed review!!!

This was a great read! I loved Isobel and I'm claiming her as my bestie for life!
Out of Sight is probably in my top 5 best reads of this year. It was full of spicy angst, intense emotion and had amazing main characters. Judah was an OTT possessive growly hero that was the perfect protective and loving balm Isobel needed. Seriously he is a 10/10 book boyfriend.
Not only was the love story between Issy and Judah an emotional high, I loved the growth we see in Issy, not only with accepting and putting herself first but with Evie who is going through her own emotional journey. Lucky they both found men willing and able to lean on when things get tough.
This was a beautiful second chance for Judah as well. He was at a point in his life, where he thought he'd missed his chance at love but meeting Isobel pushed him to take a chance on a new beginning in life, with someone he loved and could build a future with. I loved how once he realized what he felt for Issy was real and all consuming, he didn't let anything stand in his way of claiming his HEA with the woman of his dreams. There is nothing sexier then a committed and devoted hero completely gone for his heroine and Judah was that in spades!
This is my first Cleo White book but it won't be my last. I'm already excited to download some of her earlier novellas. The blurbs alone have hooked me!
Highly recommended. I 100% know I'll be re-reading this one and am so excited it's available as a paperback because this has earned a spot on my book shelf, not just my kindle!

It was the absolute age gap/insta love/forbidden romance I needed. So easy and fast to read, incredibly well written.
I've loved how protective Judah was of Isobel, right from the beginning. He saw what other people in her life failed to see. Her parents do not deserve to be mentioned in this review. I appreciated how Evie tried to connect with her sister after years of being deached.

Oh delightful fun. Total wish fulfillment age gap romance- older man who is self assured and supports the fmc against her emotionally negligent parents. Light easy and fun. Spoiling the fmc, which I love, and a light daddy kink.

So this book was actually quite insane if you look at it from an outside perspective. Tbh it was like going to a family member’s wedding but making it all about you. This FMC had no idea who she was or what she wanted, and I’m not convinced she ever did. As soon as her parents pulled the plug on her financially, she just decided to go live with an older man. Idk. I love age gap most of the time, but this felt creepy and weird. Borderline grooming.

My heart broke for Issa the first half of this book. It made me so sad with the way she was treated.
