This is, quite honestly, one of the most disappointing books I have ever read. I would give it zero stars if I could. While I enjoyed Greg LeMond's preface (one of my all time favorite cyclists), the book goes downhill from there. As a scientist, I was disappointed that the content of this book was mostly information that I learned in my seventh grade science class. Definitely not what I expected from an author who touts his training at big name institutions and career as a physician (not surprising that a simple internet search yielded no publications of significance from the author). Just another example of an egomaniac purporting their expertise in a subject when their credentials suggest otherwise.
