Ralph is a bunny who loves soccer. But when his soccer high-jinks almost land him in a farmer's stewpot, he discovers he needs the help of his brave sister -- and lots of Easter eggs -- to get him safely home again. Full-color illustrations.
Finding a healthy balance between the work you’re expected to do and an activity that you’re passionate about is not easy, especially for kids. Ralph’s rabbit colony was responsible for decorating all of the eggs delivered by the Easter bunny, and so he was expected to help get this huge job done. But he also loved playing soccer, and dreamed of one day being a famous player. Unfortunately, Ralph spent so much time practicing his footwork and kicks, it interfered with the egg decorating. Young readers will enjoy finding out how he learns to strike a balance between the two. Engaging text and adorable illustrations make this a fun book to share with kids in the days leading up to Easter.
PB28: My parents bought me this book for Easter one year when I was young because I loved playing soccer. It is a cute little book about how sometimes you have to do things you may not want to, like helping to paint Easter eggs instead of playing soccer. You do not have to give up what you love entirely, and there will always be time to play, but as children grow up they need to learn it is important to help out when parents need help. The illustrations are very cute and this book is a great book for Easter time.
This appealed to me more than it should have. :) It's not particularly good, but I found that the twist at the end, which is not what I would have done, was cute.
An ornery bunny, he wouldn't go with the flow. He ended up being captured only to be saved because of the cleverness of his mates. A fun read!
PB 17: This book reminded me of Rudolph and the Misfit Toys in the beginning, b/c it is about a bunny who would rather play soccer than paint eggs and get ready for Easter. It's a nice book with a Easter bunny theme.
This book is about a rabbit that has to help with Easter, but instead wants to play soccer. The pictures in this book. Students enjoy animals so they would stay entertained, while also learning about responsibility. The pictures in the book are in full color and follow the story very well.
A fun story for boys and girls, this one is about Easter and presented in a way much like elves during Christmas. This story sparked my imagination! I look forward to rereading it to my grandchildren and students.

An always popular tale about a young bunny who doesn't want to do his work. My First grade students love it and identify with his problem. The end is always satisfying. I have been reading this since it was published, and I am still happy each spring to bring it out.
As a child, I grew up obsessed with bunny rabbits, and I had a collection of every bunny story I could find. Peter Rabbit and other Beatrix Potter tales, Watership Down among other titles I had with this book. A funny story about a rabbit that loves to play soccer, but he keeps causing trouble for his fellow rabbits when they’re trying to finish decorating eggs for Easter. The book contains a good lesson about balancing your chores with your leisure activities, and being considerate of the needs of others. A wonderful book for young readers.
This is a cute book about a rabbit who would rather play soccer than help prepare the Easter Eggs. It reminded me of Rudolph's Island of misfit toys at the beginning. The poor bunny just doesn't fit in. But his family keeps saying that if he doesn't help work, he will get into trouble. Eventually we have a scene strait out of Watership Down. He has been trapped and caged by the farmer who plans on having him for Easter Dinner, His clever sister finally saves him. Although the book was cute, I thought the life lesson has a rather heavy handed delivery.
Bunny Trouble is a cute Easter story that tells Ralph the bunny's story. Ralph only wants to think about soccer even when it's time to get ready for Easter. When he gets in trouble, his sister hatches a plan to save him.. The illustrations really add to this story!
A young bunny from a colony of rabbits who make Easter eggs neglects his work in favor of playing soccer but it gets him in some trouble. He learns to balance work with play. A cute story for Easter.
I totally love this book. This was the first book I ever read, when I was 5 years-old. Now I'm 20, and thanks yo this wonderful and colorful story I started loving reading.
The bunnies in the colony constantly work hard at decorating eggs for Easter. That is, all but Ralph. All Ralph works hard at is perfecting his soccer kick, and that gets him in a lot of trouble!
