Uno degli aspetti che mi sta piacendo e mi è piaciuto di più di "Oshi No Ko" è il fatto che viene sempre ripetuto come ci sia una sfasatura nelle personalità di Aqua e Ruby, un contrasto quieto fra le personalità delle loro vite precedenti e quelle delle loro vite attuali - e come queste ultime stiano prendendo il sopravvento, sì, ma solo in parte.

Il desiderio di vendicare Ai, anche a costo della felicità raggiunta tramite una seconda occasione, sembra più forte di tutto il resto. E anche questo mi piace, perché gli esseri umani fanno errori e sprecano tante possibilità, e perché a volte il senso di colpa e di gratitudine verso qualcun altrə si rivelano sentimenti più forti di qualsiasi ragionamento logico. Ad Aqua e al suo modo di autosabotarsi per non essere stato "forte abbastanza quando era il momento" voglio particolarmente bene ma questo credo di averlo già detto.

In realtà voglio bene un po' a tutti i personaggi di questo manga, anche se vorrei che le vite di Akane, Kana e Ruby ruotassero un po' meno attorno ad Aqua ma, oh beh, sono giovani e per fortuna hanno anche altri sogni più personali e meno sentimentali da inseguire. E poi mi piace che, come nel caso di Akane, ci sia anche una sfumatura inquietante in questo loro affetto per lui.

Anche il personaggio di Tsukuyomi, che all'inizio mi era apparso forzato, ha finalmente trovato un suo senso nella narrazione. Credo avrebbe potuto essere inserito in modo più naturale fin dall'inizio ma capisco che l'autore abbia voluto dare un senso alla reincarnazione di Goro e Sarina e non renderlo un pretesto di trama campato in aria. Ha voluto legare questo "miracolo" alla loro natura gentile in un'ottica di "favore ricambiato" che ha ancora più senso, inserita nel contesto culturale dello shintoismo.

In ogni caso da un lato mi spiace che la serie sia già finita e che manchi solo un volume alla conclusione, perché mi ci ero affezionata. Dall'altro lato sono contenta che finisca quando ha ancora qualcosa da dire, piuttosto che trascinarsi fino a perdere ogni tensione narrativa.

Es imposible dejar de leer.

Este tomo fue agridulce. La filmación ha acabado después de los altibajos. Lo más intenso fue la relación de los gemelos. Ellos ya han desnudado sus almas y se presentan como tales, eso facilita la acción. Al mismo tiempo sus pasados parecen estar en paz y despedirse finalmente.

La última parte de la venganza está por llegar.

Alors que la fin approche à grands pas, petit tome à côté pour moi, avec une concentration sur le volet amoureux de l'histoire qui malheureusement ne brille pas par son originalité et sa qualité. Heureusement, on peut se consoler avec la trame de fond qui, elle, esquisse un intense message sur le monde du spectacle.

Depuis les débuts de l'histoire, la relation Aqua - Ruby me met mal à l'aise, alors forcément je n'allais pas très bien vivre ce tome. Heureusement, elle s'accompagne d'autres histoires, d'autres personnages sachant souligner d'autres zones moins problématiques. En effet, pour le scénario du film, il faut un baiser entre le frère et la soeur qui interprètent le rôle de leurs parents... Nécessaire de s'attarder dessus ? Absolument pas, on aurait même pu le zapper avec plaisir.

A l'inverse, la question des sentiments d'Aqua est essentielle. C'est lui qui a été le plus traumatisé par la mort de leur mère à laquelle il a assisté. C'est lui qui garde le plus ses sentiments sous clés et qui pourtant a eu une relation ''amoureuse'' avec l'une de ses partenaires. Il était temps d'éclaircir tout cela. Malheureusement comme souvent avec Aka Akasaka, ce n'est pas écrit dans la dentelle. On a ainsi une grosse pause dans l'histoire du film pour insérer cela et en plus, les deux filles se battant pour le coeur d'Aqua s'arrangent en coulisses sans rien dire à l'intéressé. Je ne suis pas très fan... Cela fait tout sauf naturel et cela pêche cruellement en émotion, un peu comme tout, ou presque, ce qui touche les jumeaux en dehors de leur passé, alors que quand c'est pour Aï, c'est tellement plus juste... Dommage.

Le film se conclut ainsi dans l'ombre et les autrices nous gardent les remous pour le dernier tome, notamment avec l'arrivée du père des jumeaux. C'est dommage ces ratés côté rythme, car vraiment l'histoire d'Aï, l'histoire de ce film valaient mieux. Comme dans chaque arc, je trouve qu'on passe trop vite. Après, j'ai découvert la série via son adaptation animée qui parvient à corriger ces défauts, alors j'ai espoir que celle-ci fasse de même ici et qu'on ait une superbe saison, pleine d'émotion, pour l'adapter. On croise les doigts. (Surtout que la saison 3 arrive le 26 janvier)

4/5 I'm still really enjoying the series and there is only one volume left. The movie finishes production and we're finally getting to see how Hikaru is going to react to it. We also get a couple cute chapters with Kana and Akane dealing with their feelings for Aqua which I really enjoyed. A lot of people are put off with the "kiss" but I don't feel like the author is going to heavy on that aspect of the story thankfully. I'm eager to see how this story ends.

I am starting to get bored by the story. The main reason I liked the manga was that it shed light on the dark sides of the Japanese show business. But for a while the focus has been on other things than that and the storytelling feels weirdly all over the place.

The incest is real!!! The sibling twin incest in [Oshi no Ko] is real!! So, I hope you are up-to-date. If you're happy about it, alright then. If you're unhappy about it, I'm so sorry to hear it. But, here's the gist of [Oshi no Ko] Volume 15.

Volume 15 is very difficult to read. It's a roller-coaster of emotions! I am happy about the kiss between Ruby and Aqua so they can play their roles well in the 15-Year Lie movie (as Ai and Hikaru, respectively). But, at the end of the day, we need to go back to Chapter 1 of the series and remind ourselves the core identities of these pivotal characters: Sarina-chan and Dr. Gōrō. While I have mixed feelings about the romantic direction of the series, we need to remind ourselves that the creators are also creating hype and excitement.

"Give the fans what they want?" So be it. If this is how the creators roll, there's nothing we can do. At the end of the day, I'm here for the beauty of this series. It's beautiful in its own sense because of the romantic and familial complexity among the characters. Death and revenge are two heavy topics, but I'm glad this manga series dissects difficult topics in manga volumes intertwined through eloquent storytelling.

Anyway, enough about my rant. The incestual kiss is the elephant in the room in Volume 15. Other boring events in Volume 15 are:

1. Akane romantically manipulating Kana so she can get together again with Aqua; along with her own revenge plots to "save Aqua" from the downward spiral of his revenge;

2. Ruby finally meeting Hikaru face-to-face, but she appears dense about it and just spoke to him casually;

3. Aqua's depression because he's about to perform the unthinkable acts of carrying out his revenge;

4. Kana's (almost) romantic confession to Aqua by playing catch/baseball.

5. Tsukoyomi's identity revealed as a real crow before reincarnation, and how she (as a crow) was taken care of by Sarina-chan and Dr. Gōrō outside the hospital backyards.

6. Nino-san tagging along Hikaru. We know she's the betrayer. This time, she might have revealed Ruby's location (Ruby's praying at Ai Hoshino's cemetery) to Hikaru. Also, Hikaru almost pushed Ruby off the cemetery staircases! Scary!!! 😖

read [Oshi no Ko] Chapter 152 Volume 16 MangaPlus on June 12, 2024 (11 out of 11 chapters=100%) - I have never been so mesmerized by the writing of [Oshi No Ko]. Coming to this chapter, we have come full circle 😖😁. And now, we are in the "Final Act" 😨😓 Hikaru Kamiki was the interviewer all along in the first ten chapters of the manga!! 😣 This is astounding!!!!
